Neutral Zone NHL’s Ian Moran’s comments, December 2020: Jaedon is a massive young man that we need to be paying attention to. He moves well for a big kid and maintains tight gaps even when having to gap up on multiple re-groups. He has a cannon of a shot that he gets away quickly and as a scouting staff we like his ability to move laterally across the blueline to open up shooting or passing lanes. Jaedon is going to get noticed because of his size, but colleges and pro staffs will really start paying attention when the realize he moves well enough to defend with his hips low while having a nice active stick.

U18: Chicago Young Americans vs Culver Academy, December 17, 2020: Great size, strong, hard shot, good skating, and skills.  Showed more of this offensive side this weekend.  He got his shot through and it was hard.  He would not unload a slapshot, he would get off a quick snapshot.  Jaedon was moving his feet, getting across the blueline for a shot to pivoting in the neutral zone and getting separation.  He had very good mobility for 6’4” 210lbs.  The more I get to watch Jaedon, the more I like this kid.  Grade A

U18: Team Illinois vs Culver Academy Prep, December 7, 2020: Great size, strong, physical, hard shot, good skating and skills.  First thing you notice with Jaedon is his size, 6’4” 210lbs, not too many players at the U18 level that big.  Physical presence on the ice, had good gap and took the body.  Jaedon would get off a hard low shot from the point.  He used his size and reach in the defensive zone, took up a lot of space and positioned his body in the right spots.  Jaedon would not over commit and would angle opponents out of the play.  Grade B+
