WHL: Lethbridge vs Kelowna, December 16, 2022: Wormald is slight below average sized left shot forward who was most noticeable on the power play. His first touch was easy and he did not need to stickhandle before throwing soft sauce to his open teammates. Although light he showed the willingness to finish his checks as well as have well placed slashes to calves when he did not like how he was being treated. While on the power play right mid-wall Wormald one touched passes to the tape and as well as showing the shooting ability to fire snap shots through screens or one-time imperfect passes and hit the net. He finished -1 in the 6-0 loss with minus coming at the end a power play where he was forced to defend a 3 on 2. On the night he totaled 17:35 in TOI with 6:01 coming on the PP and 0:23 while shorthanded. WHL: Lethbridge vs Calgary, February 25, 2022: Wormald is a below average sized left shot left wing with a quick first three steps. He is not a burner, but he did show quickness out of stops and although he looks to be a bit inside edge dominant as a puck carrier he showed nice acceleration out of power turns. On the top power play unit he earned a primary assist on a clean zone entry after he delayed coming over the blueline and found the secondary wave of the attack coming down the weakside dot lane. He showed deception and did not telegraph his passes by looking one way until his opponent’s stick placement had moved and then firing hard passes through the open lane. While shorthanded Wormald was on the ice for defensive zone face-offs where his anticipation allowed him to pick off passes and his puck poise allowed him to carry pucks out of the defensive zone. He totaled 14:43 of ice time including 2:23 while on the power play and 0:58 while a man down. He finished -1 with 2 power play shots, had 1 shot blocked, 9 giveaways, 2 takeaways and he won 29% of his 21 puck battles.
WHL: Lethbridge vs Swift Current, December 28, 2021: Wormald is a slightly below average sized left shot forward who still looks quite light. Both with and without the puck he has a very easy glide and a quick first step. He earned an assist by outworking his defender and extending a below the goal line cycle which allowed his linemates to generate a quick 2 on 1 from the dot lane. He totaled 12:07 in ice time including 2:25 while being positioned on his strong side left flank on the power play. He finished the game with 1 grade “A”, 2 PIMs on an offensive zone trip, 6 giveaways, 1 takeaway and he won 50% of his 2 puck battles.
U15: CSSHL Bantam Championship: March 21, 2020: Very nice skating winger, smooth and effortless. Logan plays a first line role winger very well. He is very capable of scoring goals but shows absolutely no selfishness. He shoots when it’s the best option, passes when the pass is the right play. Comes back hard on the back check into his zone and will take hits on the boards to make a play and get pucks out. Grade A-
U15: Yale Hockey Academy vs Burnaby Winter Club, December 21, 2019: Wormald is smooth skating left shot forward who looked incredibly comfortable playing his off wing. He handled indirect and wrapped passes with his eyes up locating his center or activating weakside defenseman. His passes were both hard and accurate. Defensively he stopped on pucks while positioned as the weakside winger in the defensive zone he had an active stick. Wormald had two power play assists with both coming off one-time shots that hit the net and generated rebounds.
