Comments: While the line-up sheet lists Boumedienne at 6’2′ and 183 lbs., he appears more slightly framed to the naked eye. He played a regular shift for a true freshman and younger player in the NCAA ranks with ’07-birthdate. He can play all situations as able to hold his own on the penalty kill, as he shows a versatile style. In his younger years, he was more of an offensive defenseman, with the Terriers in the early going of his college career, he is a solid puck-moving blue liner with the ability to transport the puck. He is smart in puck decisions as plays within his limits, gets pucks to the net, and battles in the defensive zone using his feet and active stick to break up plays. He will need to add muscle and strength as at times can get outmuscled along the walls and corners. He could develop into a solid mid-round selection in he 2025 NHL Draft.
