NHL Draft Final Rankings 101-200

Yesterday Neutral Zone released our Top 100 NHL Draft Final Rankings and today we release our next best 100 NHL Draft prospects. Tomorrow we’ll release the next 100 prospects that…

Noah Beck

(9) Special Teams Potential – The combination of Noah’s skating ability, long reach and anticipation make him a natural penalty killer. Combine that with how well he maintains shooting lanes and his ability to limit second scoring opportunities and we feel Noah will be a regular penalty killer in professional hockey.

NHL Draft Final Rankings 1-100

This September Neutral Zone, the largest amateur hockey scouting site in the world, announced the hiring of longtime NHL defenseman Ian Moran to launch an NHL Draft arm of the…

Tristen Robins

(1) Brain – Offensively Tristan can create space. While on line rushes Tristen understands how to manipulate gaps into his favor generating time and space for himself and his linemates. During an offensive zone cycle he feels the defensive pressure and will…

Dylan Guenther

Looking forward to the 2021 NHL Draft Dylan is a player who will be watched closely. He’s a big winger who thrives on contact and we feel that the shortened WHL season will work to his advantage if he was willing to put in the weight room work. Dylan is listed at 170lbs right now, but if he was able to add…

Jackson van de Leest Scouting Report

(10) Intangibles – Jackson is an athletic 6’7″ teenager. There is no doubt that he is a long term project, but he is playing in every situation for the WHL’s Calgary Hitmen this year. We’ve seen less athletic defenders carve out NHL careers and we feel Jackson has a chance to have one too. An NHL scouting department needs to spend some quality time with Jackson trying to learn if he will do whatever it takes to to have that career.

Ian Moore – Scouting Report

Ian’s improvement over the past few years has been quite dramatic. Physically he has all of the tools for a long professional career, but his mental game / awareness has grown by leaps and bounds as well. We feel this has a lot to do with his coach at St. Mark’s, Carl Corazzini. Coach Corazzini was a captain at Boston University, an NCAA All-American and played in the NHL. There is no doubt that he has been an invaluable resource for Ian both on the ice and off.

Ben McCartney

Ben is a hard nosed winger who plays his butt off every shift. He is an excellent F1 and excels at creating chaos on the fore-check while finishing every check with authority. He has a very active stick while shutting down passing lanes and we feel that he carries himself like a leader. He sets an

Nate Hanley

(6) Release – Can shoot with his feet moving and is unpredictable. Nate has the ability to shoot through defenders legs while in tight areas and when playing the off-wing he has the accuracy try to go short side shelf from awkward angles. Nate is a dynamic player with the puck on his stick. He is unpredictable and can fire the puck quickly and accurately, yet has the soft hands to adjust his stick at the last second for back door passes.
