Comments: Aiden Kirkwood (2008-born forward) is a skilled, dynamic player whose game is defined by exceptional puck control and creativity. He moves confidently through tight areas along the boards, maintaining possession under pressure and using his agility to create space for himself and his teammates. His ability to navigate traffic and evade defenders makes him effective at generating scoring opportunities and sustaining offensive pressure. While he occasionally can be pushed off position by more physical opponents, his vision, puck-handling, and awareness provide a strong foundation for continued development. With added strength and continued refinement in engaging physically, Aiden has the tools to become a high-impact forward capable of influencing play at both ends of the ice.

Biagio Jr. Daniele (D, L, 6’0″, 183, Baie-Comeau Drakkar, 06/30/2008)

Game Rating

B

Daniele is an skilled offensive player who moves the puck with poise, showcasing strong playmaking abilities. He maintains good positioning when moving against opponents, but could benefit from additional lower-body strength to effectively maintain his stance. On offense, Daniele’s awareness on point shots can improve as he sometimes loses track of incoming plays. While demonstrating strong instincts in defensive situations, such as blocking a pass during a two-on-one, Daniele needs to be more alert in transition and react faster to avoid being caught off guard. He also struggled with a late reaction time after a player snuck behind him on one play.

1 Viewing

Comments: Biagio Daniele (2008-born defenseman) is a well-rounded blueliner with strong poise and instincts in both ends of the ice. Offensively, he demonstrates confidence with the puck, showing the ability to make smart outlet passes and create scoring opportunities for teammates. He displays flashes of playmaking skill and awareness, particularly when moving the puck out of the zone or joining the rush. Defensively, Daniele relies on strong instincts to read plays, effectively blocking passes and disrupting opposition attacks, such as in 2-on-1 situations. His positioning is generally sound, but he would benefit from developing lower-body strength to maintain leverage against larger, more physical opponents and to compete more effectively along the boards and in front of the net. Additionally, improving his alertness and reaction speed during transitional plays will allow him to respond more effectively to fast breaks and odd-man situations. Overall, Biagio projects as an intelligent, reliable two-way defenseman with the skill and hockey sense to impact the game at both ends, and continued work on strength and situational awareness will elevate his play at higher levels.

Dylan Rozzi (LW, L, 6’0″, 181, Saint John Sea Dogs, 03/08/2008)

Game Rating

B+

Dylan Rozzi is a physically agile forward with impressive speed and acceleration capabilities. He exhibits creative and intelligent playmaking skills, often catching defenders off guard with his forechecking pressure and quick puck decisions. On the penalty kill, Dylan displayed strong awareness by creating opportunities for himself or teammates to make scoring chances. His ability to stretch the ice and create space behind defenders also showcases his skillset. However, Rozzi’s physical presence is still an area for development, as he sometimes fails to engage with his body in key situations, allowing opponents to get free shots at the net. With continued work on this aspect of his game, Dylan has the potential to become a well-rounded and dynamic forward who can excel both offensively and defensively.

1 Viewing

Comments: Dylan Rozzi (2008-born forward) is a highly skilled, agile winger with a dynamic combination of speed, hockey IQ, and finishing ability that makes him a dangerous offensive threat. He possesses excellent lateral quickness and strong crossovers, allowing him to accelerate effectively, create separation, and maneuver through traffic with ease. Rozzi’s stickhandling and deceptive agility make him elusive, and he is capable of making defenders miss in tight spaces. His shot is a true weapon-hard, accurate, and capable of scoring from a variety of areas, including the flank, as demonstrated by a one-timer goal on the power play. He thrives in traffic and displays strong awareness, often driving hard to the corners or attacking loose pucks to generate scoring opportunities, while also showing the ability to stretch the ice and capitalize on breakaways or well-timed passes. Defensively, Rozzi is a reliable two-way winger. His forechecking is relentless, keeping his stick active and pressuring opponents to make mistakes. He plays with intelligence, using his speed to stick with his man and force quick decisions, and can effectively support teammates on the penalty kill by driving to corners and drawing defenders before delivering smart passes. His skating is a standout asset-he has a strong, explosive stride and moves north-south effectively, though lateral mobility (east-west) can occasionally be a challenge under pressure. Areas for improvement center on physical engagement and consistency. Rozzi has the skills to dominate offensively, but at times he panics under pressure and commits turnovers. While he does not shy away from dirty areas, he needs to be more assertive on pucks, finishing checks, and consistently playing the body in all three zones. Adding grit and physicality will complement his elite skill set, allowing him to maintain possession under pressure and create time and space needed for offensive opportunities. Overall, Dylan Rozzi projects as a highly valuable, middle-six winger at the next level, blending elite skating, vision, and finishing ability with a high hockey IQ, and with continued emphasis on consistency and physical play, he has the tools to be an impactful professional forward.

Comments: Oskar Drabczynski (2008-born defenseman) is a tall, physical, and highly skilled two-way blueliner whose combination of size, skating, and hockey IQ makes him one of the top defenders in his age group. He plays a mature, disciplined game, demonstrating poise and composure in all areas of the ice. Offensively, Oskar is confident with the puck and shows excellent decision-making from the point. He effectively uses his length, strength, and balance to navigate through traffic, get pucks on net through sticks and bodies, and make smart passes that beat multiple opponents. His ability to carry momentum in one direction while delivering a pass or shot in another highlights his body control, balance, and skill. Even on bouncing pucks, he settles the puck cleanly and transitions up ice with pace, accelerating past forecheckers to relieve pressure and exit the zone efficiently. Defensively, Oskar is equally impressive. He manages gaps intelligently, uses his stick effectively to lift, tie up, or disrupt opponents, and positions himself to minimize scoring chances. In front of the net, he boxes out, shuts down rebounds, and uses his body to drive through opponents without overcommitting. He is strong on his edges, balanced in his stride, and maintains possession under pressure, rarely getting phased by forecheckers closing in on him. He could stand to play more on the aggressive side and engage physically more frequently.. Oskar’s skating is smooth and efficient, with effective pivots, strong strides, and the ability to accelerate cleanly. He plays with pace without being reckless, and his intelligence allows him to make plays that simplify life for his goaltender and teammates. He has the potential to become a very effective 2 way defender at the next level.

William Yared (RW, R, 6’1″, 197, Saint John Sea Dogs, 01/22/2008)

Game Rating

B

William Yared is a highly competitive forward with strong awareness in the offensive zone. He consistently engages in play, wins battles, and creates space for his teammates through his grinder’s mentality and high level of energy. His vision and puck sense are notable, particularly as a passer, allowing him to make smart, purposeful decisions on the ice. While he excels at slowing down the game with well-placed passes, William can be prone to lapses in awareness, particularly defensively. However, he shows promise in his ability to add value through physical engagement and playmaking, effectively mucking it up along the boards and creating opportunities for himself and others. With continued work on situational awareness and puck protection, William has the potential to become a reliable contributor who can excel in both offensive and forechecking roles. His overall skillset is well-rounded, with excellent puck control and strong offense.

Comments: William Yared (2008-born forward) is a highly intelligent, two-way center with a complete skill set that makes him a key contributor at every level. He plays with exceptional awareness, consistently reading the ice to make smart decisions with and without the puck. His vision and passing ability are elite-he consistently makes the subtle plays that create scoring opportunities, including perfect reads in the offensive zone to deliver teammates the puck in stride for quality chances. On the power play, he serves as a patient, effective puck mover, identifying lanes and controlling the pace to maximize team opportunities. William also has a heavy, quick, and accurate release that makes him dangerous whenever he chooses to shoot, though the effectiveness of his shot is amplified when he can get to the right spots faster. His work ethic and compete level are standout traits. He is constantly around the puck, pressuring defenders, winning battles along the boards, and mucking in the corners to create space for teammates. He plays with grit and isn’t afraid to mix it up physically, showing a willingness to engage and get under opponents’ skin. Defensively, he demonstrates strong commitment to positioning and awareness, though there are moments where he needs to recognize pressure more quickly to avoid turnovers leading to scoring chances. Continued development in puck protection and awareness under duress will further elevate his two-way game. William’s skating is the primary area for growth. While he has good linear speed and is working hard to become quicker and more explosive, improving acceleration and lateral agility will be key for competing at the next level and sustaining production against top competition. Even so, his intelligence, size, and work ethic make him a player that teams can build around. Currently slotted as a hybrid first-line center for Saint John, he logs heavy minutes in all situations and shows the ability to generate offense consistently, with the potential to remain a high-impact contributor as he transitions to more top-line defensive matchups. With continued focus on skating and physical engagement, William Yared projects as a complete, dynamic center capable of thriving in both offensive and defensive roles at the next level.
