Comments: Neo Hirsch is an offensive defenseman and puck-mover who drives play from the back. With an assist, 4 shots on goal, and the most ice-time of any player in the game, Hirsch proves his impact and offensive ability. On his assist, Hirsch showcases his quarterbacking ability on the powerplay as well as the skill to make flat, hard passes to set the play up. On top of his great on-ice vision, his smooth skating, ability to change angles, and hard shots through traffic prove why he is one of the better players in today’s matchup. In the neutral zone, he maintained tight gaps and poked away entries. On retrievals, he dodged forecheckers, turned pucks north with timely passes, and boxed out in front to sweep rebounds. Overall, he brought simple, solid hockey with good reads, clean plays, and physical edge to guard the net front.

Comments: Patrik Rusznyak is a right-defenseman with mobility and clean outlets under pressure. With the second most ice time on Lulea, he helped exits with flat passes from retrievals, then stepped up to hold pucks in and shot for pads. Rusznyak kept gaps close in the neutral zone, broke entries with his stick, and sealed with body. On dump-ins, he got to the puck quick, avoided pressure, and mixed straight passes with banks. Throughout the game, he also shows the ability to tie up sticks in front of the net and negate any rebound attempts. He had efficient, low-mistake shifts with sharp reads and execution that helped Lulea stay in the game.

Comments: Måns Josbrandt is a smaller center that is not afraid to get pucks to the net and stay active in the offensive zone. He put on a strong performance backed by 5 shots on net and reliable two-way detail throughout the night. Josbrant consistently drove play up ice and stayed aggressive in the offensive zone. He earned inside positioning, funneled pucks to the net, and added 2 hits and 1 blocked shot to round out his complete game. Defensively, he tracked well through the middle, supported exits, and stayed above the puck, giving his line structure. While he didn’t get on the scoresheet, his pace, shot creation, and complete shift-to-shift effort made him an effective, trusted forward in this game.

Comments: David Lovgren is a smaller sized center with great face-off skills, high speed skating, and smart two-way habits. His assist came on the power play goal, making a great east-west pass through traffic, showcasing his vision and ability to get pucks through traffic. Throughout the game, Lovgren leaned on defenders, chipped to space on entries, and won inside battles for tips. He supported his defense with backchecks, covered pinches, and used quick exchanges to keep speed in attacks. On the forecheck, he pinned walls and steered pucks into help for takeaways. All night, he had direct, reliable shifts that added value every time he was on the ice.

His goal came on the powerplay with a great reception and shot from an angle on the powerplay through traffic. He has soft hands and adjusts quick to opposing players. Away from the puck, he screened the goalie effectively and hunted for rebounds. He joined cycles low in the zone and worked the walls persistently. In tight battles, he muscled for better positioning, delivered quick bump passes, and picked up loose pucks. Defensively, he collapsed to protect the slot with good positioning, stripped the puck from carriers, and covered his assignments diligently. He battled hard in the corners and steered plays wide.

On the forecheck, he pressed lanes for takeaways and reset when needed. Overall, it was a strong, efficient game marked by clean receptions, good decisions, and a balanced shot–pass mix.
