Comments: Lukas is a left-catching goaltender of medium height who faced 44 shots and delivered a fantastic, consistent performance throughout the entire game. Although he wasn’t able to stop any of the shootout attempts at the end, he was the main reason his team earned at least one point, and he made a save that could easily be called one of the best of the season. He showed strong positioning both in the crease and along the goal line, demonstrating good awareness and quick reactions. Lukas was fast in his slides, controlled his rebounds well, and either kept the puck secured or effectively eliminated second-chance attempts. One of his standout moments came when he made a spectacular glove save – the puck deflected to his left side where an opponent was left completely alone with an open net, but Lukas stretched out and caught the puck just before it crossed the line. In other cases, he kicked pucks away to the corners. He also tracked the puck very well in traffic, quickly finding shooting lanes and reacting in time to make the saves.

Comments: Jere is a left-handed left wing of smaller stature who played in his team’s first line and was also used on the power play. Before the halfway point of the game, he had already completed a hattrick and at the end of the game recorded ten takeaways. He showed strong physical play, although this led to him taking two penalties, temporarily weakening his team. Despite this, he followed up with effective forechecking, and the combination of these actions created situations where he was able to stop the opponent’s counterattack in the neutral zone and wasn’t afraid to play a physical game. He generated a lot of puck possession time for his team, and when he carried the puck, it was difficult for opponents to take it away. He demonstrated quick hands and good decision-making at high speed and in the flow of the game, which benefited his team, for example, during zone entries on the power play when he was able to control the puck and maintain possession in the offensive zone. Occasionally, it seemed that the puck simply found him, as was the case with all of his goals. On his first goal, he supported the rush, kept the puck in the corner, stayed present, and scored backhand after a pass into the slot. For his second goal, his pressure to the net paid off again, as he finished a rebound with a backhand. On his third goal, he again showed good game awareness in the net-front area and completed his hattrick after a rebound finish. Areas for improvement include discipline regarding penalties, as mentioned above, and contribution to the team in play in general, where he was less effective. Nevertheless, he delivered a good and consistent performance throughout the game.

Comments: Jimi is a right-handed defenseman of medium to slightly smaller stature who played on his team’s first defensive pair and was also used on the power play and penalty kill. He delivered a good performance throughout the game, standing out most in the third period. Defensively, he was very effective, showing an aggressive approach to opponents, particularly in board play, for example in the corners, where he limited the opponent’s space with the puck. He used his stick actively, remained calm with the puck, and moved it quickly during breakouts. As a right-handed player, he preferred zone exits through the right side of the ice and also recorded a successful shot block. Offensively, he was a valuable contributor, mainly operating along the offensive blue line and moving the puck through quick and accurate passes, though occasionally attempting slightly risky saucer passes. On the power play, he was often the player initiating the breakout, while getting the speed and passing puck under him, to fast-moving teammates in the neutral zone. He also registered shots characterized by quick release and pace. Because he frequently carried the puck near the offensive blue line, turnovers occurred, leading to fast counterattacks by the opposition on two occasions. Importantly, Jimi demonstrated fast backchecking to prevent scoring chances and helped his team regain defensive control.

Comments: Daniel is a left-handed left wing of medium to slightly smaller stature who played on his team’s fourth line and was also used on the penalty kill. He delivered a solid performance and was most noticeable during the second period. Although he didn’t have a lot of ice time, whenever he was on the ice, he made an impact and showed himself as an important offensive contributor for his team. He is a good and fast skater, agile, with quick changes of direction that allow him to protect the puck effectively and move it quickly in the offensive zone. In the attacking zone, he got under opponents’ skin, played an active forecheck, and was willing to engage physically. At the same time, he showed smart play in the defensive zone, using his speed, strength, and active stick to regain the puck despite his smaller stature, and provided support on the open ice to help teammates gain better positions, for example by subtly blocking an opponent’s path. He participated actively in face-offs and showed a strong hunger for the puck. On the penalty kill, he also blocked a shot.

Comments: Wilmer is a left-handed right wing of medium stature who played on his team’s second line and was also used on the power play. He took part in the penalty shootout at the end and scored with a precise shot. He was not very noticeable in the first period, but later showed his strengths, which are described below. A good skater with excellent puck movement, Wilmer is able to generate strong speed that helps him be first to the puck. With the puck on his stick, he was very effective, moved well, kept his head up, and his play in the offensive zone created many opportunities for his team. He moved the puck quickly toward the slot and combined well with teammates, which was also visible on the power play, where he took quick shots and created danger. He tries to keep his stick active and use it effectively.

Comments: Jeremi is a left-handed left wing of medium stature who played on his team’s second line, including on the power play and penalty kill. He scored in the penalty shootout with a precise shot. Although he was less noticeable in the first period, his performance steadily improved as the game went on. He showed a strong desire to play in the net front area and consistently attacked the slot, as seen on the first goal when he received a pass and scored from that area. Even after that, he continued to occupy the slot and look for rebound opportunities. In the offensive phase, he kept his head on a swivel, searching with his passes for teammates in the front of the net. A fast skater, Jeremi was dangerous with the puck, demonstrating agility and quick changes of direction. After zone entries, he consistently sought ways into the net front area. He has good mobility, quick and soft hands, and strong stickhandling, and when he had shooting opportunities, he displayed a quick release. On the power play, he played an important role, actively participating in combinations and moving the puck quickly.

Comments: Eetu is a left-handed defenseman of medium height who played on his team’s third pairing and was also used on the power play and penalty kill. In the defensive zone, he provided calm possession with the puck, aided by his solid skating and good puck control. His strength lies in play along the offensive blue line, where he showed smart movement and moved the puck effectively through quick passes. He was also helpful to his team during zone entries on the power play. As is common for defensemen who handle the puck frequently, a few mistakes appeared, such as Eetu once left the puck behind in the defensive blue line area. Overall, however, he delivered a solid performance.

Comments: Niko is a left-handed defenseman of above-average height who played on his team’s second defensive pair and was used both on the power play and penalty kill. He delivered a consistent performance throughout the game and ranked among the best players on the ice. A two-way defenseman with a clear offensive mindset, Niko also showed great awareness and reliability in his defensive responsibilities. He played with a very active and offensively oriented style for a defenseman, which stood out across all periods. Using his size effectively, he protected the puck well – for example in the offensive zone play, when he managed to carry the puck on the stick in one hand from the boards into the slot with an opponent on his back to create a scoring chance. Whenever the puck reached Niko in the offensive zone, his team benefited from extended puck possession time. He demonstrated his puck-handling skills and confidence, making a smart move on the blue line that drew a penalty and earned his team a power play. He also actively supported face-offs, several times retrieving the puck for his team immediately after the draw. Defensively, he displayed an active stick and an aggressive approach in his own zone, leading to multiple puck recoveries and quick transitions into offense. He supported teammates intelligently – for example, slightly tying up an opponent’s stick to make space for a teammate to exit the zone. His performance on the penalty kill was also solid, he played with strength along the defensive blue line, outmuscling opponents and clearing pucks effectively. He displayed strong timing and awareness, as shown in a situation where he defended a dangerous 2-on-1 rush – he pushed the puck carrier wide toward the boards and dropped down in time to block a potential cross-ice pass to the open man. Offensively, he was very active and frequently joined the rush, which brought positive momentum to his team’s play. However, this aggressive involvement sometimes left open space behind him – at times, his positioning looked more like that of a forward, as he found himself deep in the offensive zone corners. Against more experienced opponents, these risks could become costly, but his confidence and ability to drive offense from the back end are clear strengths that made him stand out in this game.

Comments: Jesperi is a left-handed left wing of medium stature who played on his team’s first line and also on the power play. A skilled player who handles the puck well, he showed soft hands and confirmed his offensive talent by scoring two goals. He was also active on face-offs, working to gain possession for his team immediately after the puck was dropped. On the power play, he took position on the right circle and supplied teammates with smart and quick passes toward the slot, which led to his first goal: after his pass into the crease created a scramble, the puck bounced back to him and he finished quickly. He continued his scoring activity with quick shots that resulted in his second goal of the game. Jesperi constantly looked for ways to find better scoring positions, including changing his angle to improve his chances.

Comments: Atte is a left-handed center of a large frame who played on his team’s first line, also contributing on the power play and penalty kill. A two-way forward, he performed especially well in defensive situations, though he was a bit quiet during the first two periods. He then delivered a strong performance in the third period, becoming one of the main factors in his team’s success, winning fifteen out of twenty-five face-offs. Despite his size, he skates well and can generate good speed. As a center, he uses the middle of the ice very effectively, both offensively and defensively, covering this space consistently. He did not hesitate to protect the goalie when needed. On the defensive blue line, he used an active stick effectively to prevent opponents from entering the zone. On the penalty kill, he played an important role in the net front area, positioning himself well against opponents and controlling space, recording one blocked shot. Offensively, he was also key in the net front area, where his presence contributed to his team’s third goal.

Comments: Jesse is a left-handed center of medium height who played on his team’s second line and also contributed on the power play. He scored in the penalty shootout at the end with a nice deke. Jesse showed strong skating combined with great puck control, which helped him set up his team’s first goal when he retrieved the puck behind the opponent’s net, created space, and delivered a quick and smart pass to a teammate in the slot who scored. His soft hands also helped during rushes, making him difficult to stop – once he reached the slot, his shots were quick and very dangerous.
