General Game Notes: Penticton @ Vancouver, September 20th 2025. The shots were relatively close throughout the game but Penticton had a couple more powerplays with added pressure. Penticton had more grade A chances and dictated the pace for most of the game.

Comments: Reyelts is an athletic goaltender with strong tracking through traffic and composed rebound control. He displayed smart reads throughout the game, sliding across on an odd-man rush to set his feet early for an easy stop. Made a standout save on a redirection through traffic in the second period, demonstrating his quick reflexes. Handles the puck well, helping his defensemen on breakouts and showing quick movement and awareness in his crease.

Comments: Stone is a poised defenseman who moves the puck efficiently and shows patience under pressure. He effectively closed gaps early in the neutral zone, reading plays and breaking them up cleanly. His physicality stood out with well-timed hits that separated opponents from the puck, followed by composed first passes to exit the zone. Demonstrated awareness with a smart reverse under pressure, creating time and space for his partner.

Comments: Alstead is a smart, skilled forward with good IQ and pace. He was a key contributor on the power play, using strong vision to hit seams and generate scoring chances. Displayed his playmaking touch with an assist on the second goal, getting the puck through traffic to the net-front from the half wall. He later added a goal with strong net-front positioning, tipping a point shot past the goaltender, showing good hand-eye coordination and screening technique.

Comments: At 6’8, Tamelin presents a large, commanding presence in goal. He plays a calm, composed style with strong compete, using his size effectively to seal off the lower net and challenge shooters. His frame and positioning make him difficult to beat down low, however, further improvement on his glove-side reaction and handling breakaways could elevate his consistency.

He scored a one-timer goal from the hashmarks in the third period off a quick feed from the strong side corner, highlighting his ability to find lanes and finish chances.

He made a key diving block early on the penalty kill, showing commitment and compete. His speed was a factor throughout the game, notably on the PK, where he created a shorthanded chance by beating a defenceman wide late in the game. He is a high-motor player who impacts both sides of the puck.

Comments: Obabaifo is a fast, shifty forward with high-end puck skills and offensive IQ. He displayed confidence carrying the puck at speed, using quick hands and sharp edgework to attack defenders. In the second period, he drove wide on a defenseman, dropped his shoulder, and took the puck hard to the net, showcasing his willingness to engage physically and generate scoring chances through speed and skill along with grit to get to the net front.
