Comments: Orsulak is a big 6’4′ goaltender with good tracking and strong pushes. His rebound control was sound, consistently steering pucks to safe areas, and he tracked well through traffic on the penalty kill. He has good puck-handling ability and IQ, as he made a stretch pass on the power play that set up an easy zone entry. He made several momentum-changing saves, including a blocker stop on a breakaway early in the second and a late third-period cross-crease sliding save to preserve the lead. He can over-slide at times, and can improve his movement in the crease to become a dominant goaltender at the WHL level.

Comments: Man is a big, heavy shutdown defenceman who plays a punishing physical style. He consistently finished hard checks, drawing reactions from the crowd and commentators. He maintained strong positioning around the net to neutralize offensive threats. His fearless compete level was on display when he blocked three consecutive shots on the penalty kill, giving his team a lift in a tight second-period situation. While his foot speed and overall defensive awareness can continue to improve, his size, physical presence, and willingness to sacrifice his body make him a challenging player to play against.

His footspeed allows him to reach top speed quickly, while his puck skills and vision create opportunities in the offensive zone, particularly on the power play. Despite his smaller frame, he competes hard and consistently puts himself in dangerous areas by moving the puck with pace.

Comments: Petr is a poised offensive forward with strong playmaking instincts and the ability to finish chances himself. On the power play, he moved the puck hard and fast between the slot and goal line before finishing the sequence with a one-timer far side for the game’s opening goal. His offensive-zone awareness and ability to use his frame to protect pucks allow him to create and sustain possession. Petr can improve his speed and edgework to become a more dynamic threat offensively.
