Belmont Hill Keller
The Program
The Belmont Hill hockey program has a tradition of excellence in the ISL and New England. Belmont Hill has five teams: Varsity, Junior Varsity, Thirds, Fourths, and Fifths. The rink in the Jordan Athletic Center is an Olympic-size ice sheet. Banners hang in the rink to celebrate team success (2 New England Championships, 30 ISL Championships, 18 Lawrenceville Tournament Championships, and 10 Nichols-Belmont Hill Championships), as well as individual accomplishment (4 US Hockey Hall of Famers, 6 Olympians, and 3 Hobey Baker winners). A banner also celebrates former coach Ken Martin's 707 career victories in 39 seasons. Coach Martin is the winningest coach in Massachusetts high school hockey history and in 2013 was inducted into the Mass Hockey Hall of Fame. Coach Martin continues to coach and mentor at Belmont Hill.
