Pomfret Independent
Our hockey program has a proud tradition of success, including Small School New England Championships in 2017 and 2022. Many of our players go on to play college hockey at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels. Some of the colleges our players have attended include: Amherst, Army, Babson, Bentley, Bowdoin, Colby, Connecticut College, Hamilton, Holy Cross, Saint Anselm, Skidmore, Merrimack College, Trinity, Wesleyan, and the University of Maine. We are looking for outstanding individuals who will contribute to all aspects of Pomfret life, who are passionate about hockey, and who have the ability and character to be a successful player at the prep level and beyond. We want individuals who are coachable and who have a strong work ethic and positive attitude. We expect our players to be leaders on the ice and in the Pomfret community.
