Brent was a former longtime pro hockey player out of Ontario who came to Neutral Zone in 2020 as a regional midwest scout. He played nearly 1,000 games in the minors from UHL to IHL to ECHL to AHL. Cullaton brings not only hockey playing experience but he’s coached at various levels from AAA to Juniors to Minnesota HS. His experience, love of hockey and team player attitude was a perfect fit for NZ and he was quickly promoted to Scouting Director of the Midwest in 2021 where he built a quality scouting staff with an emphasis on Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin. Brent also assisted in scouting players for the USHL and NHL Drafts.
Cully resides in Lakeville, MN with his wife and works full-time as an account manager with ECI. They have a daughter Peyton who is currently playing NCAA D1 hockey at Northeastern University. Cully is currently an assistant coach at Shakopee High School.
