Indy Fuel (ECHL) Assistant GM
A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Dennis is the Assistant General Manager of the ECHL’s Indy Fuel. “DJ” began working for the Norfolk Admirals as an intern during the 2014-15 season and served as a Hockey Operations Assistant for the team in 2015-16. After starting the following season in Norfolk, Dennis was hired by Bernie John of the Fuel to become the team’s Video Coach in November 2016. DJ finished that season with Indy before returning to Norfolk as their Video Coach for two seasons under U.S. Hockey Hall of Famer Robbie Ftorek. Dennis then returned to the Fuel in the summer of 2019 and has been with Indy ever since. DJ served as the Fuel’s Video Coach for the 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2021-22 seasons before being promoted to Assistant GM in the summer of 2022. Dennis joined Neutral Zone as a Video Scout in September 2023.
