Ethan Brand began playing hockey in his hometown of Innisfail, Alberta, at the age of eight in 2009 and continued until his second year of midget (U18), when he had to stop due to concussions. His coaching career started in 2020 during the COVID pandemic, when he took on the role of coaching the U13 Tier 2 team in Innisfail, later guiding the team to a league championship in 2022. From 2021 to 2022, he volunteered with the Red Deer Rebels of the WHL. In addition to his on-ice experience, Ethan has completed three years of Sports Management at Olds College and earned a Hockey GM and Scout certificate from Sports Management Worldwide. Now entering his second season as a scout with Neutral Zone, he resides in Innisfail, Alberta.
