MVP
Lindsay Stepnowski (Loomis Chaffee School, F, 2026, Harvard)
Stepnowski is a fantastic talent who can take over a shift and a game. She excels off the rush and almost averaged a goal per game this year. She was able to help her team bring home back-to-back NEPSAC Elite 8 titles and did so while also winning at U18’s for Team USA, showing her ability to stay focused on the season. Stepnowski finishes off the year with 21 goals and 20 assists for 41 points in 22 games. Congratulations, Lindsey Stepnowski!
Forward of the Year
Francie Ames (Noble and Greenough School, F, 2028)
Ames was the most productive forward offensively for the best team in the regular season. She scored 26 goals and 39 assists for 65 points in just 30 games. She was dominant in every game we watched this season, and is not just individually talented but also works well with her teammates. She plays a fast game and is already a top player in prep as a 2028. She is uncommitted at the moment, and we imagine she will have her pick of any school when the time comes. Congratulations, Francie Ames!
Defenseman of the Year
Maggie Averill (Phillips Andover Academy, D, 2027, Princeton)
Tall, strong, fast, and dynamic. Averill has been a top defenseman in prep for years and can not only defend, but she can create offense and has the numbers to back it up. In 19 games, she scored 14 goals and gathered 16 assists for 30 points as a defender. She is such a great skater and is one of the taller players on the ice, making her unique and a sure thing on being able to step right into a college game and compete. Congratulations, Maggie Averill!
Goalie of the Year
Moira Landsverk (Frederick Gunn, G, 2027, UNH)
Landsverk was on a short-staffed Frederick Gunn team that competed and was able to finish with a record above .500. She saw over 760 shots and carried a .940 save percentage. She was athletic and tracked the puck so well all year long in every game we watched. The UNH commit had a great opening year of prep hockey and was our runner-up for MVP. Congratulations, Moira Landsverk!
Rookie of the Year
Kelsey MacPherson (St. Paul’s School, F, 2029)
MacPherson was one of the top players on a very good St. Paul’s team. She scored 11 goals and had 15 assists for 26 points in 20 games. She stood out in every game our scouts watched and was able to produce offensively as a first-year prep player, which impressed. Congratulations, Kelsey MacPherson!
