Derrenbacher is on record playing 16 games for Shattuck per Elite Prospects. She registered 12 points and 8 goals in those games.

NZ Scouts say: “Speed, strength, and relentless forechecking define Derrenbacher. She excels on the powerplay with smooth, accurate passes, battles effectively in corners, and retrieves loose pucks quickly.”

Rock played for Benilde-St. Margarets last season where she played in 27 games and had 9 points.

NZ Scouts say: “Rock displayed an ability to create chemistry quickly with her linemates. She seems to gel quite well into a new group of players. She knew how to support her linemates and figured out their tendencies so she could make herself useful. She has good vision and knows where to pass the puck to knowing there would be a teammate there.”

Olson last played for Hill-Murray school last season. She played in 30 games and registered 10 goals and 23 points.

NZ Scouts say: “Sophie plays a strong and solid game. She is a tenacious player who will attack and cause the other team to turn over the puck.”

Zakrajsheck Rock played for Benilde-St. Margarets last season where she played in 27 games and had 36 points.

NZ Scouts say: “She finds good areas of the ice off and on the puck. Off the puck, she positions herself in high-danger areas to draw defenders to her to open up the outside. With the puck, she knows where to go to open space so she can move the puck over to a teammate.”

Megan MosseyCommits to Minnesota

Mossey played in the OWHL U22 AA league for the Etobicoke Dolphins. In 37 games she was able to record over a point per game with 39 points.

NZ Scouts say: “Her combination of shooting power, passing precision, and confidence with the puck made her a strong two-way presence from the back end.”

Kaia WeilandCommits to Mercyhurst

Weiland had a great season in USHS-MN for Centennial/SLP High. She appeared in 30 games registering a 1.61 GAA and a .935 save percentage. She also had 19 wins and 2 shutouts.

NZ Scouts say: “Weiland is positioned well and will make the first save. She reads and tracks the play in front of her well, limiting second chances and juicy rebounds.”

Emily PohlCommits to Wisconsin

Pohl had an incredibly impressive season for Hill-Murray School. She played in 31 games with more than 1 goal per game with 41 and 74 points.

NZ Scouts say: “She is so good offensively, and that goal-scoring ability showed up eventually. She is a gifted goal scorer and creates a lot of offense which she will bring to the U18 team.”

Gabby OgunnupeCommits to Brown

Last record of Ogunnupe was from the 2023-24 season. She played mostly in the AFHL U15 AA. She played in 29 games for the St. Albert Raiders U15 and had 16 goals and 25 points.

NZ Scouts say: “Ogunnupe is a physical defender that will clear the crease in front of her own net often. She is steady with her presence and makes it hard to gain an edge on her.”

Josie VirnigCommits to Wisconsin

Virnig played for Benilde-St. Margaret’s. In 27 games she had 15 points and 13 assists.

NZ Scouts say: “Virnig is active on the blue line, showing quick feet that allow her to stay mobile and create options. She reads the play well on the power play, finding open lanes to keep pucks alive and generate offense. Her mobility and awareness make her an effective presence at the point.”

Wiese last played for Team Colorado U16 AAA and currently playing for Florida Alliance U19.

NZ Scouts say: “Emily stood out as a player who is comfortable moving the puck, defending, and sparking the offense. She is calm moving the puck out of her own end, escaping forecheckers and making crisp passes up ice.”

Victoria JonassonCommits to Harvard

Jonasson last season played for Culver Academy U16 and the year prior she was with Winchendon U16 where she has 74 assists and 111 points in just 62 games.

NZ Scouts say: “Jonasson is a smaller player who took a bit to get going in camp but when she did she looked very good with the puck. She can dish the puck at a high level and find teammates in scoring areas with ease.”

Lindsey PontilloCommits to St. Anselm

Pontillo is playing for Lovell Academy U19 this season where she has 11 points in 22 games.

NZ Scouts say: “Pontillo loves to be apart of the play, and goes hard to the net displaying an explosive stride. She also does a great job creating turnovers in the neutral zone and back checking hard through the middle.”

Kaylee MandevilleCommits to Merrimack

Mandeville plays strong on the blueline for NAHA U19 White. She has played the past two seasons for NAHA and was recently invited to the USA U18 Select camp this August.

NZ Scouts say: “She shows good deception with the puck and has the ability to slow the game down when needed, adding poise to her skill set. Mandeville reads opportunities well to pinch effectively, and her strong backcheck to the far post highlights her commitment and reliability in all three zones.”

Ava ClavelleCommits to St. Anselm

Clavelle has played the last three seasons for Okanagan Hockey Academy U18. She is a physical defender and recently represented Team Alberta.

NZ Scouts say: “She plays aggressively, consistently battling hard along the boards and using her body effectively to separate players from the puck. Clavelle set a strong gap on opposing rushes, angling attackers toward the boards, using her long stick effectively, and limiting their access to the middle of the ice.”

Maisy TomlinsonCommits to St. Thomas

Tomlinson played for Maple Grove for the 24/25 season and registered 22 points in 28 games played. She will be playing for Maple Grove for the 25/26 season.

NZ Scouts say: “Tomlinson is a treat to watch on the point. She walks the line well and has great vision to pinpoint shot and pass lanes and make good decisions with the puck. Her shots make it through screens because of how explosive she can be to open area that the opposition cannot keep up with.”

Brazeau played for Northern Alberta Xtreme U18 for the 24/25 season and finished with seven points in 16 games played. This season she will be playing with the North Shore Warriors U18 Prep team.

NZ Scouts say: “Brazeau takes offensive risks, throws her body around, and uses shoulder checks effectively. She has a long stride and delivers tape-to-tape passes.”

Skolney played for South Alberta Hockey Academy Female U18 Prep for the 24/25 season. This season she will be playing with the OHA Edmonton Female U18 Prep team where she has already recorded two wins in net.

Steigerwald last played for Gilmour Academy.

NZ Scouts say: “Steigerwald is a resilient goaltender who excels in tight situations and thrives under pressure. She battles hard in scrambles, consistently finding loose pucks in traffic to earn the whistle. With excellent positioning, she gets her paddle down to block passes from behind the net and confidently moves to the top of the crease, squaring up to shooters.”

Sophia ContantCommits to Franklin Pierce

Contant last played for OHA Edmonton U18 Prep in the CSSHL U18. She played 29 games and was able to amass 12 assists and 14 points.

NZ Scouts say: “She skates well, especially coming down the wing, maintaining puck control.”

NZ Scouts say: “Pittis is a high-impact forward that stands out because of her incredible stick handling ability. Her hands are always moving, even when at top speed. She cradles the puck effortlessly to keep possession and is able to gracefully pick up bad passes on her backhand.”

Rebecca MacFarlaneCommits to RMU

Macfarlane last played for Okanagan HA U18 Prep last season and is playing there again for the 2025-26 season. Last year, she had 9 points in 27 games, and as of right now, she has 1 point in 4 games.

NZ Scouts say: “MacFarlane brings energy to the faceoff circle and consistently wins battles to find open ice. She attacks the net with urgency and aggression, often scoring high-pressure crease goals.”

Last season, Banks played in 72 games for Lovell Academy U19 AAA. She recorded 13 assists and 19 points. This season, she is playing for Lovell again and has 20 games under her belt, with nearly a half-point per game, averaging 8.

NZ Scouts say: “Banks showed some good straight-line speed when the puck was on her stick with a little open ice. She is a good skater in both north and south directions and above average laterally. She showed strong gap control against the rush and attempted to force errors by the defensive blueline. “

Addie SutherlandCommits to Assumption

Sutherland played for Dexter Southfield School for the 24/25 season and faced over 200 shots. This season she is playing for East Coast Wizards 19U & Dexter Southfield.

NZ Scouts say: “Sutherland was strong in net and showed good focus on scrums in front of her to locate pucks and get her body in front. She showed she was good on initial first shots and tracked the puck well from distance.”

Mills played for Lovell Academy 19UAAA for the 24/25 season and finished with 17 points in 74 games. This season, she is playing for Lovell again and has 22 games under her belt, with 6 points.

NZ Scouts say: “Her quick feet allow her to be aggressive in the offensive zone while getting quickly back into position. She showed good anticipation and hockey IQ. She defended well with good gap control coming back against the rush, and with a good stick in the lane.”

NZ Scouts say: “Maloney stood tall in the net this weekend. During a game that was heavily favored by one side, she was consistently solid and made several key saves that kept the score closer than it might have otherwise been.”

Fitzgerald played in 27 games for Worcester Academy last season. She registered 7 goals and 13 assists for a total of 20 points.

Murray last played for Eagan High where she appeared in 26 games. She was able to rack up 8 goals and 17 points in her 24-25 campaign.

NZ Scouts say: “Murray is a highly skilled player who combines confidence, creativity, and strong hockey IQ to impact the game on both sides of the puck. She showed quick hands in tight, often handling the puck using deception and stickhandling to make opponents miss and shake off pressure.”

Colleigh JohnsonCommits to UW River Falls

Johnson last played for Blaine High. She played in 21 games and was able to record nearly an assist per game with 19. A total of 26 points for a strong second year.

NZ Scouts say: “Johnson has good speed to drive into the offensive zone and beat her opponents wide. She creates offense this way by using her legs to create passes and let lanes open up to play make.”

Woo played last season for the Regina Rebels, where she registered 11 points in 28 games played. This season she is playing for Southern Alberta Hockey Academy. Woo already has 5 points in 11 games.

NZ Scouts say: “She was moving well side to side, showing how well she can track pucks and move along with them. She is also aggressive and challenges pucks to take away a strong shooting angles.”

Gianna MarcheseCommits to UW River Falls

Marchese played last season for Rosemount High School finishing with a 2.08 GAA.

NZ Scouts say: “Marchese is a goalie with good size and moves well side to side in her crease. She tracks pucks from a distance well and reduces rebounds left around her crease by steering them away or smothering the puck.”
