
Kaidence Wright – Commits to Lindenwood
Kaidence Wright last played for the Frederick Gunn School and is now currently playing for Northwood School.
NZ Scouts say: “Wright has great poise on the point. She uses her feet well to evade pressure and circle away from forecheckers to explode up ice into space. When she has the puck, she has a plan and can think on her feet.”
Ava DeCourcey – Commits to Yale
Ava Decourcey played for Nobles last season and had a strong year. She made team USA and will be representing her country at the U18 Championships.
NZ Scouts say: “Decourcey showcases awesome poise and skill with the puck in the neutral zone. She always has her eyes up and can get pucks up ice quickly using her decision-making and accuracy.”
Veronika Hujova – Commits to Lindenwood
Veronika Hujova played a majority of her games last year for KSV Neuberg Highlanders in the EWHL registering 5 points in 11 games. She represented her company last season at the WJC-18 and was able to help with 3 points in 6 games for Czechia.
NZ Scouts say: “Hujova boasts a powerful and effective one-time slapshot, particularly on the power play. While she aggressively pinches, this can occasionally create odd-man rushes. She demonstrates smart shot selection, favoring low shots with traffic for deflections and targeting corners when afforded space and time.”
Devon Moore – Commits to Holy Cross
Moore played for Dexter last season and will continue wearing the shield for another season.
NZ Scouts say: “Moore displayed strong situational awareness and read the play well, positioning herself to support both offensively and defensively. Her ability to recognize developing lanes and anticipate puck movement allows her to make smart decisions.”
Jaylie French – Commits to Dartmouth
French had a great season last year registering 2 points a game for Warroad. 61 points and 25 goals in 30 games.
NZ Scouts say: “French took reps at forward and defense and looked strong at both. When she was playing defense, she read the game very well and used her offensive skills and translated them to defense. She appeared to be vocal and wanted the puck on her stick in the offensive zone to spread out the zone and create seams towards the net.”
Ella Skotty – Commits to Assumption
Skotty has played the last 2 seasons for the Chicago Mission and is doing so again for the 2025/26 season.
NZ Scouts say: “Skotty displayed strong offensive zone entries and looks to survey the ice and find space to buy time for her teammates to get open for a pass. She generates good shots and chances on net by finding seams.”
Madison Levesque – Commits to Clarkson
Last season Levesque had 36 goals and 64 points in 42 games for Bourget College Varsity. Next season she will play another season with them.
NZ Scouts say: “Levesque is a smaller-framed forward who played with high energy and physicality, especially on the forecheck. She demonstrated excellent stickhandling and vision, highlighted by a smooth backhand saucer pass from behind the net to a teammate in the slot. Levesque was very engaged defensively, showing active movement on the penalty kill to block shots and cut off passing lanes.”
Rowyn Street – Commits to St. Thomas
Street finished over a point per game for Rink HA Winnipeg U18 Prep. She had 55 points in 30 games and a goal per game!
NZ Scouts say: “Street has impressive hands under pressure. She’s able to dangle with a gritty drive in the ozone. She’s able to capitalize on opportunities, space, and scoring.”
Taryn Richter – Commits to St. Michaels
Richter had 11 points in 31 games last season for Holy Family Catholic last season.
NZ Scouts say: “Taryn Richter is a highly competitive forward known for her relentless effort and gritty style of play. She excels in all three zones, highlighted by a huge backcheck that saw her ride an opponent hard into the boards—showcasing both physicality and defensive commitment.”
Lily Winckler – Commits to St. Anselm’s
Winckler will be playing for Cushing Academy this next season. In her 2023/24 campaign for Winchendon she was just shy of 30 goals and 66 points in 65 games.
NZ Scouts say: ” Winckler creates offense for her team with her quick hands and vision. She can find seams quickly and needs little room and time to pass the puck to an open teammate.”
Laurie Deguire – Commits to Maine
Deguire commits to Maine after a successful season at Milton Academy.
NZ Scouts say: “Deguire positions herself aggressively, which suits her style. She plays tall and is very quick from her spot. She moves laterally fast and with strength.”
Jasmine Lazzari – Commits to Bemidji
Last season Lazzari played for Calgary Fire U18. She registered 15 points in 28 games and added a point for her team in 3 games of playoff play.
NZ Scouts say: “Lazzari is a spunky, creative forward with a strong offensive presence and natural scoring instincts. She uses her speed and lateral movement effectively to find her way to the net, often creating space for herself and her teammates.”
Ella Rutter – Commits to UNH
At U16 Nationals back in early April, Rutter had 3 points in 4 games for the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers.
NZ Scouts say: “Rutter was a top skating speed player at camp. She is a great skater, which helps her create the separation she needs to be effective in areas where she lacks in size advantage. She is always wheeling around the offensive zone and making herself hard to cover.”
Noelle Noble – Commits to Bemidji
Noble finished with nearly a point per game for Wayzata High with 25 points in 27 games. She was also one of Minnesota’s final 54.
NZ Scouts say: “Noelle Noble is a good defender that is consistent with her play. She uses her stick properly to provide good defensive positioning. By having her head up always looking for the puck, it gives her the ability to see every inch of a play.”
Hadley Bakker – Commits to Merrimack
Bakker plays for Maple Grove High and was able to pot 11 goals and 25 points in 28 games. She also was a final 54 candidate in Minnesota.
NZ Scouts say: “Bakker is a great skater with poise to head man the puck up ice. She always has her head up which makes it easy for her to notice open players to feed up the ice.”
Myla Motz – Commits to Minnesota State
Motz had 11 assists and 14 points last season for SAHA U18 Prep in 29 games.
NZ Scouts say: “Motz is a strong addition along the boards, and in physical battles. She’s consistently communicative in faceoff dot. while maintaining good anticipation off puck, strong second effort forechecking and in d-zone.”
Kari McKay – Commits to Union
McKay last played for Lovell Academy U16.
NZ Scouts say: ” McKay is a forward with smooth skating and quickness. Strong work ethic, excelling in both forechecking and backchecking, earning her a B- rating. While she may not be the fastest player on the ice, her excellent hands and above-average skills make her a valuable asset to her team.”
Shyla Gamble – Commits to UVM
Gamble last played for Central York Panthers U18 AA.
NZ Scouts say: “Showcased excellent anticipation and positioning by reading the play and getting into a prime shooting lane. Received a crisp pass from her linemate and wasted no time, burying the puck with a quick, accurate shot that left the goaltender no chance to react.”
Hunter Burch – Commits to RMU
Burch last season played for the Waterloo Ravens and Stoney Creek Sabres.
NZ Scouts say: “Burch brought intensity every shift and created offensive chances through her forechecking. She was hard to knock off the puck and kept her feet moving. The ’27 is a power forward who uses her body well to protect the puck and engage physically.”
Sophie Jovanovic – Commits to Wisconsin
Jovanovic had a strong year last season playing for the Toronto Marlboros U16 AAA. She appeared in 17 games according to Elite Prospects and put up a strong 1.71 GAA and a 10-1-3 record.
NZ Scouts say: “Jovanovic has great size, movements are smooth in all directions and first shots are highly unlikely to beat her. She showed her comfort level on Saturday when she faced a breakaway from the blue line. Sophie quickly got out of the paint and basically challenged the player to deke her.”
Moira Landsverk – Commits to UNH
Landsverk appeared in 39 regular season games and stopped 98.1% of shots. At U16 Nationals she played in 2 games and let in half a goal per game and stopped 95% of shots.
NZ Scouts say: “Landsverk played the puck well in practice and was able to apply that to the games. She moves well to get back on dumped pucks and move the puck to a teammate. She moves well side to side and was square on her shots.”
Fiona Gallagher – Commits to Minnesota State
Gallagher put up 8 points in 28 games for Maple Grove last season and was a Final 54 candidate for Minnesota hockey.
NZ Scouts say: “Gallagher has great speed and can blow by the opposing defense to create odd man rushes into the attacking zone. She can find and create space with her legs to make 1-on-1s with the goalie and put strong chances on the cage.”
Renee Lapointe – Commits to UMD
Lapointe played in a whopping 98 games last season for Durham West Jr. Lightning. She got 19 goals and put up 59 points.
NZ Scouts say: She shoots the puck very well, handles the puck very well, and makes great passing decisions. Her footwork and skating technique need work as they are the weakest part of her skill set but she is not slow. She utilizes the whole sheet of ice when passing and makes a lot of nice looks to the middle on breakouts and regroups.”
Courtney Shifrin – Commits to Assumption
Shifrin played with Lawrence Academy last season.
NZ Scouts say: “Shifrin wants to score and have the puck on her stick. She gets pucks on net from a lot of different angles but is not afraid to come into the middle of the ice.”
Mikayla Barnes – Commits to Colgate
Barnes played for the Stoney Creek Sabres last season in the OWHL U22 AA league. She appeared in 41 games and was able to register 29 goals and 58 points in her 2024/25 campaign.
NZ Scouts say: “Barnes is a quick and aggressive forward who brought high energy to each shift, particularly on the forecheck where her speed and relentlessness consistently pressured opposing defenders.”
June Semling – Commits to Minnesota State
Semling had a strong offensive season for Champlin/Coon Rapids last season. She had 54 points and 31 goals in 27 games! She was also a top 54 candidate in Minnesota.
NZ Scouts say: “Semling is a taller player with good vision around the perimeter of the ice. She likes to get a bird’s eye view of things and looks to be effective from the outside in. She is not a soft player, quite the opposite.”
Rachel Steward – Commits to Penn State
Steward had a successful U16 Nationals with the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers. She played in 4 games and was able to put up 6 points for her squad.
NZ Scouts say: “Steward is always working her very best and making things happen. Her size does her justice and helps her be more explosive with the puck while also being strong to protect the puck. She is a confident player and handles the puck great in space.”
Taylor Schreifels – Commits to Sacred Heart
Schreifels played in 31 games for Andover High last season. She had 18 assists and 25 points in those games.
NZ Scout say: “Schreifels has quick edges and can shake off forecheckers very well. She is very explosive and confident with the puck which results at times in over handling the puck when we know she has the IQ to move pucks quickly and make good quick decisions.”
Mallea McMullin – Commits to Clarkson
Mcmullin is a forward for the Ottawa Senators U22. She played in 41 games last season and was able to put up 22 points in her 2024/25 campaign.
NZ Scouts say: “McMullin is effective in the face-off circle to win draws. She is agile with the puck, making tight turns and cuts to evade pressure. McMullin uses her body to protect the puck, driving the net and scoring with a backhand over the glove while being covered.”
Talla Hansen – Commits to Minnesota
Hansen had an awesome season with Benilde-St. Margaret’s. She had 25 goals in 27 games and an additional 21 assists.
NZ Scouts say: “Hansen looked very strong in the all star game and was a no brainer pick out of that game to proceed to the 18s camp. She did so many things well and blended them all together nicely to put together awesome shifts.”
Neve Murphy – Commits to RMU
Murphy played in 14 games for the Whitby Wolves OWHL U22 AA. She had 11 points and 5 goals.
NZ Scouts say: “Murphy plays physically and takes the body. She battles in the corners. She has soft hands to dangle opponents and gain zone entries.”
Ava Lai – Commits to Post
Lai played in a grand total of 64 games and was able to put up 14 points.
NZ Scouts say: “Lai is smaller in size. She has good mobility and took a big 2 v 1 chance away from her opponent, with smooth backward skating and stepping in at the right time.”
Madeline Carey – Commits to Stonehill
Carey played for Lovell Academy U16. She played in a whopping 83 games and had 25 goals and 46 points on the season.
NZ Scouts say: “Carey is a smooth puck handler with strong control and command for the game. She has a balanced stride that allows her to motor around the ice and see where her gaps are to feed the puck.”
Lily Latchford – Commits to Sacred Heart
Latchford is on record played games for Etobicoke Dolphins and Toronto Leaside.
NZ Scouts say: “Latchford exhibits patience with the puck, demonstrating composure even under pressure. Her awareness on the ice is highly developed, as she consistently scans her surroundings, keeping her head up and on a swivel to read plays and identify potential options.”
Olivia Hepburn – Commits to RMU
Hepburn played for Durham West Lightning U18 in the OWHL U18 AA league.
NZ Scouts say: “Hepburn gets square to the play and challenges top of the crease. She stays with a deke on the penalty shot going to the post. Hepburn sits tall in the butterfly and tracks the puck to make off-the-shoulder saves and high blocker.”
Erin Flaherty – Commits to BU
Flaherty plays for St. Paul’s School and the Boston Jr. Eagles.
NZ Scouts say: “Flaherty is quick to lose pucks, showing off how hungry she is for pucks and plays with solid compete. She does great work below the goal line, making quick decisions and handling in tight physical play well.”
Corinne Leibowitz – Commits to RPI
Leibowitz last played for BK Selects U16 and was a USA Development 16/17 participant.
NZ Scouts say: “Leibowitz is a forward who is fearless and will block shots to clog shot lanes. She plays with good jam and bite to be strong along the boards and win possession of the puck. She is a good skater and can handle a high pace to keep up with the top players on the ice.”
Tate Roth – Commits to Dartmouth
Roth is a defender and played for the Chicago Mission U16 last season.
NZ Scouts say: “Roth has good length and uses it well to put her stick in passing lanes to clog up the middle of the ice. She keeps the play in front of her and has good feet to stay with players streaking out to the outside.”
Reagan Haley – Commits to Franklin Pierce
This Warroad defender appeared in 30 games and put up strong numbers with 22 points and 18 assists. She was also a USA Development 16/17 participant.
NZ Scout say: “Haley was calm on the point and made sure not to spook herself when the opposition closed in. She stays poised with the puck on her stick and makes smart decisions to feed teammates on the tape.”
Zoe Warner – Commits to Sacred Heart
Warner played for Durham West Jr. Lightning last season at the U18 and U22 level.
NZ Scouts say: “Warner uses her speed and strength to out muscle and out skate her opponents to get first on a loose puck. She puts her body in between her opponent and the puck to ensure puck possession and start the offense for her team.”
Evelyn Lacey – Commits to Brown
Lacey played half season for the Mass Spitfires U19 and her prep season at Tabor Academy.
NZ Scouts say: “Lacey moves well in her crease, looking big at all times to give the shooters less to shoot at. She made big stops when she had to and was confident in net when we watched.”
Claire Severn – Commits to Sacred Heart
Severn played in 44 games last season for the Toronto Aeros U22 AA. She had 6 points in her 2024/25 campaign and will be playing for them again this season.
NZ Scouts say: “Severn is an aggressive forechecker. The left shot forward makes crisp, flat passes. She is physical and makes diving plays to maintain offensive zone pressure.”
Ava Giroux – Commits to Dartmouth
Giroux played in 28 games last season for the Deerfield School. She had 17 points in her 24/25 campaign and will be playing for them again this season.
NZ Scouts say: “She’s very explosive with her speed and consistently is jumping into space with and without the puck to support. She is a very smart playmaker, often drawing players in and dishing pucks to teammates.”
Chloe Zunn – Commits to Maine
Zunn played for Toronto Leaside U18AA last season and is playing for Mississauga Jr Hurricanes for the 25/26 season.
NZ Scouts say: “A strong skater with excellent edges and speed, she handles the puck well, accelerates quickly, is active in the offensive zone, and drives to the net with her stick down.”
Raeya Mackie – Commits to Providence
Mackie played for Rink HA Kelowna last season. She had 21 points in her 24/25 campaign in 28 games played and will be playing for them again this season.
NZ Scouts say: “She has a strong body presence and physicality on the ice. She has a hard-low wrist shot and gets shots through traffic. She hinges on the wall well to create space and time.”
Rylie Griffiths – Commits to Post
Griffiths has played the last two seasons for the Northwood School.
NZ Scouts say: “Griffiths is a steady and reliable defender who maintains strong positioning and good gap control. In the offensive zone, she does a great job keeping pucks alive at the blue line by reading plays early, stepping up with confidence, and using her stick effectively to hold the line.”
Maysie Koch – Commits to St. Thomas
Koch played in 29 games last season for Dodge County. She had 40 points in her 2024/25 campaign and will be playing for them again this season.
NZ Scouts say: “She has a high motor and is never standing still. Whether it’s with the puck or off the puck you are getting full hustle out of her.”
Addison McLay – Commits to Ohio State
McLay played in 31 games last season for Hill Murray. She had 16 points in her 2024/25 campaign and will be playing for them again this season.
NZ Scouts say: “McLay is a quick footed defender who motors along the perimeter with the puck looking to shift the defense. She finds teammates and while moving quickly, upping the pace of play.”
Adrianna Milani – Commits to Minnesota
Milani played in 39 games last season for the Etobicoke Jr Dolphins. She had 58 points in her 2024/25 campaign and will be playing for them again this season.
NZ Scouts say: “Milani is a highly skilled, shifty player with smooth hands and a nice long stride that makes her a confident skater. She sees the ice well to create scoring opportunities for her team. With fast footwork, she steps around defenders and into scoring lanes. Her shot is very accurate and the release is quick. She excels at picking corners with her shot and uses strong edge work to maintain balance and agility on the ice.”
Emersyn Allan – Commits to Minnesota State
Allan played in 27 games last season for the Calgary Fire U18AA. She is a power defender and will be playing for Rink HA Kelowna for the 25/26 season.
NZ Scouts say: “Her ability to get pucks through from the point is a real asset, especially on the power play. A tall player who leverages her size and skating ability effectively, she moves fluidly along the blue line and makes strong reads to support the rush or hold the zone.”
Jasmin Bueckert – Commits to Saint Anselm’s
Bueckert last played for OHA Edmonton U18 prep. She had 7 assists on record in 30 games for the squad.
NZ Scouts say: “Bueckert is a dynamic and high-energy defenseman who thrives on both sides of the puck. She is relentless in puck recoveries, especially on blocked shots, ensuring her team maintains possession and transitions quickly.”
