Neutral Zone was in Wilcox, Saskatchewan from December 5th to the 8th to attend the Mandi Schwartz Memorial Tournament. Hosted by the Athol Murray College of Notre Dame, the tournament, which celebrated its 20th anniversary, was renamed in 2011 to honour former Notre Dame and Yale player Mandi Schwartz. The event featured 16 of the top Prep and Midget AAA teams from across western Canada. After a rigorous weekend of excellent competition, the Edge School Mountaineers captured the championship, needing overtime to defeat the Regina Rebels in a hard-fought battle.
