While Neutral Zone is best known for its scouting, news and rankings, we also provide analytics for coaches, players and parents. In this study we aim to identify what makes a Division I player. Where do they come from? What leagues are they playing in? What is their size and position? For accuracy purposes we analyzed every freshman in D1 hockey this season. Division II programs that are not part of a DI league were excluded from our study.
