
Numerous scouts gathered in Trenton, ONT for the 2nd consecutive year to view the Eastern Canada Cup. Top players from Eastern Canada’s Tier II leagues competed for their respective league’s supremacy. The small ice surface in Trenton created fast and physical play for the competition.
The showcase gave opportunities for players to showcase themselves to scouts from the NCAA and the CHL. Hockey Canada was also able to evaluate players young enough to compete for Canada East in the upcoming World Junior ‘A’ Challenge in Alberta, CAN.
