The NZ Scouting staff has put together a list of upcoming events in preparation for the USHL and OHL Drafts later this month.
NZ will host a live OHL Draft Show on April 30th. Paul O’Hagan, Director of Ontario Scouting, will kick things off with his staff in the morning before the second round begins to recap the first round selections from the night before and then the scouts will go through each pick live throughout the draft. The broadcast will across NZ social media channels as well as YouTube.
“We are in the process of posting our scouting reports on OMHA Championships and OHL Cup and then will be releasing our final OHL Ontario Top 300 List on Monday,” said O’Hagan.
NZ will also be hosting a live USHL Draft Show on May 2nd for the Phase I Draft across NZ Social Media Channels and YouTube. Brian Murphy, Director of US Scouting, and his team will be releasing a Top 300 USHL Draft List on April 26th.
“We have a preliminary list in place but we will have scouts at the USHL Combine as well as the CCM Minnesota High Performance Camp this upcoming weekend to make our final edits before the draft,” said Murphy.
