One NZ scout watched a couple U14 games at the BK Selects Showcase in Fairport, NY. The first game was the Buffalo Jr. Sabres and Pittsburgh Vengeance. They skated to a 2-2 tie. BK Selects defeated Valley Forge 2-1 in the other game. Both contests were played February 4th.
Pittsburgh started out controlling most of the play in the 1st period holding the advantage of SOG and quality scoring chances. While the Vengeance scored first in the 1st period, Buffalo capitalized with two power-play goals in 2nd period both by forward Max Colosimo, yet . . .
