NZ took in a game between Virden and OCN in Virden on February 4th. It was a low scoring affair in where the Virden Oil Capitals were able to break the tie with just under two minutes left in the game. It was a track meet up and down the ice with very little entertainment until the last part of the third period where every puck touch seemed to have some type of drama to it. Final was Virden 2 OCN 1
