The impressive part about Mullahy’s game is his skating ability as he can act as a third defenseman in many cases for his defenseman as he was very quick and agile to all pucks near him and wasn’t hesitant to make a play or outlet.

In my opinion Jack’s ability to process the game quickly, his dynamic skating and that move the puck first attitude are going to make him a valuable top 4 NHL guy once he’s done filling out.

Second-year pee-wee was the first time I saw JP play and he’s been a fun player to watch develop. His energy is infectious, and his teammates have always looked to him as a leader. Even as a young kid it was obvious that players on both teams were drawn to him.

Man has Tyler grown on me. He started the season with a “C” grade, but quickly emerged as a player who I felt NHL teams would love to have around and currently sits as “B+’ grade and I hate even saying that because he’s a player who could have moved higher if the season wasn’t canceled.
It’s tough to think a goalie had a good night when he gave up 6 goals, but Simon battled and was ready to play from the moment the puck was dropped facing 25 shots in the first period and….
There’s a lot to really like about Tyson’s game and how smoothly he will adapt to professional hockey. He’s a shooter and he knows it. He knows he’s got a missile and he thinks he can score from anywhere. I love that mentality. I don’t think he’s a kid that will ever get confused and think he’s a dancer.
A portion of this report was originally released in October 2019, but Neutral Zone felt we would be able to give you a better look at John’s value by being able to see the years of evaluations that went towards thinking he was a smart draft pick by Phoenix at #76.
Michael is a long shot to be drafted this year, but there is little doubt that his skating and intelligence will keep the attention of NHL teams as a prospect for 2021 draft.
Can I say that will definitely be his career track, again no. But he’s got the track record and leadership traits that NHL General Managers like to have in their organizations so my money is on Dylan continuing to wear a letter and earning an opportunity to play NHL games when his college career is over.
I like this kid. I like him a lot. I know people gave him a hard time for choosing to stay at Hermantown rather play with the NTDP, but I look at it like it’s a positive.
Commesso is a very simple goalie that is always square to shooters, corrals his rebounds and gives his team a chance to win every single night. He’s a great prospect for NHL teams as he is smooth, poised and very confident in the net.
Jake is a very interesting prospect. I have no doubt that he’s going to get drafted, it’s just a matter of how high.
He entered the OHL as an offensive machine and has blossomed into a true 200′ forward playing for Coach Hunter in London.
He’s an antagonist and he’s very good at getting under his opponents skin. There is little doubt that he will get booed when playing on the road.
There are other players who are prettier and can pull off a backhand toey in pickup hockey, but Owen is a competitor. He makes the right play. He puts the team first. He has leadership qualities and is the type of player that NHL coaches want in their line-up.
(10) Intangibles – He is a tough kid who can play through pain. Early in the season we saw Patrick take an errant stick to the face breaking his nose. There was blood all over his face, his jersey and the ice. He went to the bench, had his nose filled with stuffing and continued playing hard two way hockey. This seems like something every player should do, but we can tell you they don’t.
