Neutral Zone Notes
Winchester is a deeper and more talented team than Wakefield. Michael Drew is going to be handful for opponents throughout the winter. He shoots the puck well and is highly skilled. If he can get stronger, Drew will be a good add as a Post Graduate for prep schools. Junior forward Ryan McCarthy did not show up on the scoresheet, but he had a fantastic game. He was hunting pucks and made himself known physically. Winchester goalie, Robert DiVincenzo made fourteen saves tonight. He was not overly tested, but made some good saves on the penalty kill for the Sachems. He is a goalie to watch this winter.
Wakefield will need to find some offensive touch this winter if they look to make a tournament run come March. Tommy Harrington was a stand out forward for Wakefield tonight. He was all over pucks and competed all night. Captain defenseman, Jake Reagan, is pretty talented and has a good set of feet for a big man.
