Comments: Levshunov plays a solid overall game. Showed mobility and poise at the point to get pucks to net in finding shooting lanes or pass option. He does not wind up instead takes quick snapshots from offensive blue line. He made bad dump in to far corner that led to stretch pass and 1st goal against. His play does not scream at you, it’s just good defensive positioning, stick checks, and ability to transition and make those short passes in defensive zone. He made good, quick breakout pass in 2nd period that led to scoring chance. He plays with poise, confidence and does not show any panic in his game. He will definitely have many eyes on him for NHL Draft in 2024.

Comments: Clark was pretty quiet for most of the night. Missed scoring opportunity in 2nd period in the slot of the rush. He had good rush late 3rd period as penalty expired as picked up speed through neural zone and fired good shot from wing that goalie made glove save. Overall didn’t generate much offense.

Comments: DeAngelo showed good jump in early shifts. Quick feet, hands, and thoughts. Showed good quick transition in 2nd period on 4v4 as turned puck in neutral zone/offensive blue line into scoring opportunity. Best chance on night was 1-timer from top circle on power play, yet goalie #1 Fowler made good save.

Comments: VanTassell has the frame and long reach for the pro level although not sure his foot speed made for higher levels. He would be a project for the pros. He showed his power forward ability in the 3rd period using reach and body to drive the puck to the net for scoring opportunity although failed to finish on the backhand. Like said, has aspects for the pro game if he can continue to develop and added speed and quickness to his game.

Comments: Fowler picked up the shutout on the night although it was more for making saves when needed as Green Bay’s quality shots lacked for the most part. He made good save off the hop as his Dman turned over puck seconds into game at goal line and he had to quickly react for save in tight. In 2nd period he made last second save with blocker short-side as did not stay square with shooter, yet pulled out the last second save. He made good save off redirect shot in 2nd period as well with good tracking and gave no rebound. He made good read on PK with save on #19 DeAngelo 1-timer moving right to left. Fowler also showed how he kept confident on a scramble out front in 3rd period using pads and blocker well. Overall he limited rebounds, took whistles when needed, and had some luck on his side too. It was a solid game overall for Fowler, the little things went right for him in this game to earn the shutout. The line-up sheets show Fowler at 6’1′ although 6-feet is a stretch from the eye test.

Comments: For the most part De Haro was solid. He kept is game simple, steady making outlets and breaking plays up. Although one shift in 2nd period tried too much and held puck too long and turnover almost led to goal against.

Comments: Early in the game showed his pace and speed outracing defender at offensive blue line on broken to gain possession play for opportunity and hit post. Early in 2nd period on 2v1 off #88 Svboda pass hits post again. He plays with pace, speed. He doesn’t always use his teammates well when pass is there – selfish. He will pull the trigger a lot for the shot. Then on PP in 3rd period when defender was coming up top to circle playing him tight, he was still calling for the puck – odd play to make. Whitelaw has attributes to his game for the next levels, yet there are parts of game needs to be a team player more.

Comments: He is prone in giving the puck away and it happened twice on the 1st shift and almost cost his team a goal against early. He also turns puck over at the blue lines (6-ft on each side) which makes life hard in transition for his team. His frame is still slight and he got bounced around at times. He possesses good mobility and stick skills as tries moves most wouldn’t, although that reward comes with risk. He lacks strength and muscle as 1v1 situations defensively will be a struggle in the higher levels as he is now physically.

Comments: Perkins made impression in the 1st period taking stretch pass from #19 Fisher and snapping it home on the breakaway. He made good play to step 2nd goal as well picking puck off board behind net while battling Dman and found #24 LaChance coming down slot for 1-timer. It was a good showing overall.

Comments: Svoboda’s game came and went in this one. He showed some flashes of offensive instincts and then periods like early on in the game were he was unnoticeable. In the 2nd period he made good setup pass on 2v1 with #8 Whitelaw for scoring chance. He scored late in the 2nd period after taking a penalty earlier as came out of box, gained puck possession at offensive blue line and went in 2v1, holding the puck, then shooting far side low for the goal.
