NZ Prep Poll #2

NZ Prep Game of the Week: #13 Rivers vs #6 Brunswick; Friday, December 19 at 8:00 PM.

Rivers and Brunswick face off in the last game of the opening day at the Mutch Cup held at the Henry T. Lane Rink (St. Sebastian’s). We picked this game because these were two teams in our prep poll last week, and one has found themselves on the outside, looking to get back in. A win against each other and a strong weekend could see them back in the poll.

Rivers has a solid 2010 prospect in goal, Will Torres, who we would not be surprised to see between the pipes. Brunswick is deep and also has strong goaltending, with Akerman most likely to be in goal.
