Our scouts have compiled the following ranking set from the 2023-2024 Minnesota Girls High School hockey season. The top 2028 and 2029 graduating players are evaluated in specific number order below.

2028

  1. Gabi Lopez #27 (Orono High School, F, 2028) : Gabi is young and skilled. She plays older than she is and plays with confidence. She generates and creates scoring opportunities and has good net front presence. She is instinctive and speedy. She can move her feet and draws penalties in the process. She will be a great asset to Orono moving forward.
  2. Taylor Hall #9 (Breck School, F, 2028) : Hall is a skilled young player who can play with the older girls and holds her own. She not only holds her own, but she can produce and is in fact leading her team in points. She has great potential and is offensive minded. Hall generates opportunities on a consistent pattern and is showing her knowledge of the game. Fun to watch and will be one to keep an eye on.
  3. Jenna Goblirsch #15 (Farmington High School, F) : Jenna is another young player who made a big impact this year. She led her team in points as an eighth grader. She is determined and shows up to play. She is a fighter with nice instincts. She goes to the puck and has already become relied upon. She plays in all areas and zones of the ice and is someone to keep an eye on going forward.
  4. Bryn Heinmiller #2 (Blake School, F, 2028) : Heinmiller is a no hesitation player. She moves her feet and is quick to the puck. She will pressure and can cause turnovers. She is a smaller player who works hard and draws penalties. Heinmiller will find a way to get control of the puck and will find her way to the net. She’s smaller but she doesn’t let that stop or affect her. She is capable of producing and could be one to watch.
  5. Taylee Manion #25 (Proctor/ Hermantown, F, 2028) : Taylee is a smart young player. She pinches at the right time to keep pucks in the O zone. Taylee forces the opposition to the outside lane, and she keeps good gap control. She can control it and uses her body. She’s a good decision maker and gets the puck to the net.
  6. Olivia Roberts #7 (Forest Lake High School, F, 2028) : Olivia is a bit of a scrapper and a go-getter. She is quick and moves her feet. She will battle until the end and gets her body into it. She shows hockey sense and is able to generate offensive chances. A positive team player with some potential.
  7. Olive Carlson #14 (Minneapolis, F, 2028) : Olive has some speed and moves. She can find a way to get her stick on the puck and puts it in scoring positions. She can make good things happen in the offensive zone and interrupts the play, taking advantage of mistakes made by the opposing team. She reads and reacts well and did most of the work for a goal against Osseo-Park Center. Olive gets her share of chances in front of the net, and she can bury the puck.

2029

  1. Ava Moe #26 (Eden Prairie High School, F, 2029) : Ava is showing some potential for a younger player on Varsity. She’s getting a lot of ice time and gaining confidence. She plays on special teams and takes a beating but keeps going. She makes good decisions and for a 7th grader and she’s making some positive impacts. Ava is driven and determined. She could help with a new wave coming through Eden Prairie.
