Our scouts have compiled the following ranking set from the 2023-2024 Minnesota Girls High School hockey season. The top 2027 graduating players are evaluated in specific number order below.
- Maysie Koch #17 (Dodge County, F, 2027) : Maysie is a talented and skilled young player. She has great hockey IQ and makes the most out of her opportunities. She can put the puck in the back of the net and can play in any situation. She has great potential. Maysie has strength and protects the puck. She plays phenomenally with her linemates and has great vision for the game. A threat who can thread the needle and break free from the opposition.
- Emily Pohl #27 (Hill Murray High School, F, 2027) : Pohl is a speedy player whose confidence has grown this season. She puts pucks on the net and in the net. She can be sneaky and will take advantage of her opportunities. Pohl is smart and disciplined. She has great hockey IQ, and her game will only get better. Soft hands, she keeps great control of the puck. She is an offensive threat who can play-make and contribute.
- Jaylie French #4 (Warroad High School, F, 2027) : Jaylie has been improving all season long. Her confidence is growing, and her awareness is spot on. A young player with talent. A freshman, she led her team in points this season. Jaylie is a scrapper and a go-getter. She doesn’t give up and shows up in the big moments. She is reliable and can put points on the board.
- Grace Laager #15 (Centennial High School, F, 2027) : Laager had a phenomenal freshman season with nearly 50 points on the year, leading her team. She has great instincts and vision. She is a big-time producer and was consistently on the board all year long. Laager can out-perform and out-play the opposition. She has nice hands and is a great playmaker. She keeps her head up and competes for everything.
- Addie Wethington #21 (Blake School, D, 2027) : Addie is a confident defender who can play older than she is. She makes nice crisp tape to tape passes and uses her body to tie up and defend. She has a quick release and puts points on the board. Addie has potential and plays with passion. She is determined and seems driven to get Blake back on top.
- Brynn Laska #9 (Stillwater High School, F, 2027) : Laska looks impressive and confident. She is a team player and can take the puck to the net. She can be hard to read or defend in front of the crease as she finds a way to get her stick on the puck. She competes hard. Laska kept improving as the year went on. She is starting to show some skills and playing with other top players.
- Annalee Holzer #22 (Rosemount High School, F) : Holzer came up big for Rosemount this year. As a freshman, she led her team in goals and points. She came on strong right from the start. She is another younger player whose talent is coming into view. She has skills and was another player who helped her team get to the State Tourney. It will be interesting to see her next season.
- Ella Sharkey #15 (Holy Family, F, 2027) : Sharkey skates with determination and power. She does whatever she can to help her team win the game. She had a great freshman season and is only getting better and stronger. Her confidence improved and she has the ability to produce and set up the play. Sharkey hustles and plays both ways. She has good hands and wins the one-on-one battle for control of the puck.
- Alex Christian #9 (Orono High School, F, 2027) : Christian has good instincts and hockey IQ. She makes the right decisions and battles for the puck. She puts everything into it and finds her way to the net with or without the puck. She has nice net front presence. Although she didn’t get a ton of points on the season, she was proving sharp and skilled and could be a fun one to watch moving into next year.
- June Semling #10 (Champlin Park-Coon Rapids, F, 2027) : Semling has a quick release and good instincts. She has an aggressive side and can help produce. She does a really nice job in the offensive zone. She is a fighter who is driven with passion. She is a go-getter and can be a force. She produces and is showing great potential. Semling plays bigger and older than she is.
- Lexi Giller #27 (Farmington High School, F) : Giller makes things happen. She pressures hard and steps up to the play when she needs to. She plays with confidence, and she plays to win. She can create chances and gets pucks on net with a nice release. She is another younger up and coming player who can produce and will be one to keep an eye on.
- Bailey Rupp #22 (Bemidji High School, F, 2027) : Rupp can make a difference in the offensive zone. She has good vision and sees the ice well. She can take advantage of her opportunities. She fights for control and can take advantage of her opportunities. She is young but showing more potential. She is gaining confidence and led her team this year in points as a freshman. Rupp can be crafty and has a nice release.
- Ella Pinnow #38 (Eden Prairie High School, D, 2027) : Pinnow is a hard worker who puts her head down and goes. She will battle with anyone and keeps her head on a swivel. She is speedy and quick to react. She generates offense and creates scoring chances offensively. She is a team player and along with Moe, they could get the program back on track.
- Jordyn Thies #14 (Apple Valley, D) : Thies is a younger player with skills and vision. She has talent and is showing confidence in her game. She has the ability to show up in big moments. She is competitive and has quick speed. She could work on her shot and strength moving into next season.
- Alaina Post #9 (Park of Cottage Grove, D, 2027) : Alaina can be both a strong defender on the back side of the game and a threat when she brings it in. She won’t hesitate if she sees her opportunity to pinch and take control of the play. She has an aggressive side but needs to make sure not to throw pucks away in the heat of the moment.
- Brinley Gretz #27 (Apple Valley, F, 2027) : Another young confident player who can cause havoc and pressure hard. She has the ability to show up in big moments. A team player. She gets involved and she does a nice job in the small ice areas to get control of the puck. She could work on her hands and her strength moving forward.
- Lexi Thompson #14 (Forest Lake High School, F, 2027) : Thompson is a young player who can make things happen for her team by creating chances offensively. She has good instincts and really nice reaction time. She gets to it and moves her feet. Thompson can cause offensive zone turnovers and can thrive in certain situations. However, she still needs to gain a little more confidence and gain some strength on her skates and upper body.
- Allegra Kuhn #36 (Bloomington Jefferson High School, F) : Kuhn plays with a top line and can hold her own. She sets it up and gets herself to the net and crashes. She reads and reacts and adds to the scoresheet. She supports it and gets open. Kuhn isn’t afraid to use her body and is starting to show some potential.
- Jayden Petersen #7 (Elk River-Zimmerman High School, F, 2027) : Jayden is a young player that has continually improved this season. She is gaining confidence and trusting her instincts. She forechecks hard and puts pressure on the other team. She can use her physical side and has speed and moves. She doesn’t play in one direction Jayden gets back and helps out.
- Maddie Smuk #10 (Osseo/Park Center, F, 2027) : Smuk has some speed and get up and go. For a younger player she can show up and can play a big game. She does a nice job playing her position/role and can generate offensive chances. Smuk is instinctive and she could have a nice future in front of her.
- Callie Alphin #2 (Champlin Park-Coon Rapids, D) : Callie doesn’t give the forwards much room to work with. She keeps nice gap control and protects the puck. She is smart and skilled for her age. She is a stay-at-home defender but can take it the length of the ice if she sees the opportunity to do so. Callie has had some impressive games.
- Lydia Johnson #15 (Fergus Falls High School, D, 2027) : Lydia is a scrappy and gritty player who doesn’t have a lot of hesitation in her game. She can work her way through traffic and controls the puck to the net. She creates, she’s young and she’s aggressive. She supports her D partner and makes smart defensive plays. Lydia makes tape to tape passes and makes sure the puck is deep or her team has control of it before making a shift change. She’s confident and watches her back side.
- Lila Dalager #28 (Thief River Falls, F, 2027) : Lila is another freshman who led her team in points for the season. She is a quick little skater that can make things happen for the good. She doesn’t hesitate. If she sees her opportunity, she’ll take it. Younger with some potential. Lila can control it in and out of traffic and gets her share of chances. She gets a lot of ice time.
- Addie Corkish #12 (Park of Cottage Grove, F, 2027) : Addie is a young up and coming player that doesn’t seem to have a problem stepping up to the play. She plays her role and is quick to react. She does a good job positioning and creates scoring chances. She supports the play and follows up her teammates.
- Aubree Nelson #26 (Fergus Falls High School, F, 2027) : Aubree has an aggressive side and can generate offense. When she puts her head down and goes, she has the willpower and confidence to produce and make things happen. Aubree has some speed and some know-how. It will be interesting to see her growth in the coming years.
