Neutral Zone, LLC launches first-of-its-kind
women’s hockey scouting website

Site covers top NCAA & CIS prospects from throughout North America

Neutral Zone, LLC, www.NeutralZone.net, today announced the launch of its new women’s hockey scouting website, a first-of-its-kind amateur hockey scouting and ranking site that identifies, ranks and profiles the top women’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Canadian Interuniversity Sports (CIS) prospects from throughout the United States and Canada.
“We are excited to officially launch the women’s side of the website and bring quality, neutral and reliable coverage of the top amateur women’s players, teams and events in North America to the hockey world,” said Steve Wilk, President of Neutral Zone. “Neutral Zone is incredibly fortunate to have an experienced and respected women’s scouting staff, led by Jess Cameron, that is working tirelessly to bring truly valuable content to coaches, players, parents and others involved in women’s hockey.”

Neutral Zone’s women’s page will mirror its men’s site which went live in early 2016 and has since received rave reviews from college and professional coaches and scouts, players and parents, hockey media, and player advisors.

“We believe the site will help to fill a major information void that currently exists in women’s hockey,” said Jess Cameron, Director of Women’s Scouting. “From rosters and schedules to event scouting reports, player profiles and rankings, feature articles and more, the site is the first one-stop shop for in-depth coverage of women’s hockey.”

Below are just a few of the highlights of what Neutral Zone offers subscribers in terms of women’s hockey scouting coverage:

• A team of experienced scouts throughout North America to cover the entire pool of college / university hockey prospects.
• Rosters and schedules for major events and for individual teams.
• An unmatched database of scouting reports on top prospects from across the U.S. and Canada.
• 5-star player rating system.
• Regional and national player rankings.
• Player profiles including current team and statistics, high school graduation year, height, weight, shot, position, college commitment when applicable, tagged articles or scouting reports, and a short summary of the player provided by our scouting staff. Additional insights such as academic performance records, showcase schedules and player contact information will also be included when available.
• The latest scouting reports from league games and showcase events throughout the U.S. and Canada.
• Access to Neutral Zone scouts for consultation on specific players.
• NCAA and CIS recruiting class rankings.
• News features on special interest topics, player commitments and scouting analytics.

The primary objective of the site is to help enhance and support NCAA and CIS coaches’ recruiting efforts, but also provide parents, players and fans with credible insights as to how the top women’s hockey prospects develop, perform and rank over time.

“We’re are hopeful that the site helps the continued development of women’s hockey by providing a resource – that did not previously exist – to players and parents as they work through the college recruiting and admissions process and determine where they fit best at the next level of play,” added Cameron.
Neutral Zone’s women’s scouting staff is comprised of roughly 10 experienced scouts based across the U.S. and Canada who work to discover and evaluate the best players in their respective regions. These scouts come from diverse, high-level hockey backgrounds, most of which include playing or coaching, or both, at the NCAA, CIS or women’s professional levels.

“Our scouts come from deep and diverse hockey backgrounds and enable us to provide coverage that is accurate and informative,” said Cameron. “The end result is dependable, exclusive information that is hard to find elsewhere.”

Neutral Zone’s women’s scouts are currently covering the following leagues: New England Prep School, Canadian Prep School, Minnesota High School, PWHL, Ontario Midget AA, Canadian Midget AAA, JWHL, HPHL, Tier 1 Elite U16/U19, Tier 2 Elite U16/U19, CEGEP, NEWJHL, and Independent teams.
