Neutral Zone scouts attended the Provincials 2023-2024 U18AA, held from April 11–13, 2024, across the Greater Toronto Area, where they watched 32 teams compete. Each player below has been graded based solely on their performance at this event.
Ancaster Avalanche U18AA
Madi O’Neill #10 (Ancaster Avalanche U18 AA, F, 2026): O’Neill applies pressure at both ends of the rink, picking up sticks on the backcheck and forcing errors on the forecheck. Grade: B
Angelica Morcone #12 (Ancaster Avalanche U18 AA, F, 2026): Morcone has good speed and aggressive on the forecheck. She uses her body to protect the puck, and will drive the net. She is not big but will battle really hard on the wall Grade: B
Hayley Howarth #15 (Ancaster Avalanche U18 AA, D, 2024): Howarth has good size and uses her long reach effectively. She is strong and physical along the boards. She is very strong in front of her own net, and can make accurate first pass to exit the zone. She has a real hard slap shot. Howarth gets in the shooting lanes and blocks shots. Grade: B
Olivia Bullock #19 (Ancaster Avalanche U18 AA, F, 2024): Bullock has good size and is a strong skater, she can carry and handle the puck in the NZ. She makes smart choices with the puck at both b-lines. She can be physical and aggressive, she plays a good 200 ft. game. Bullock is successful in the faceoff circle, winning battles and drawing pucks cleanly to her teammates to start the play with possession. Her passes are crisp and, on the tape, to move the play up ice and create chances. Grade: B
Emma Bezeau #44 (Ancaster Avalanche U18 AA, F, 2024): Bezeau does a good job winning draws cleanly to her teammates to start the play with possession. Defensively, she gets in the shooting lanes and blocks shots. Grade: B
Olivia Starr #97 (Ancaster Avalanche U18 AA, F, 2025): Starr plays physically and uses her size to her advantage when battling in all situations. Grade: B
Mary Hedgcock #24 (Ancaster Avalanche U18 AA, F, 2024): Hedgcock has size and quickness, she uses her long reach to be effective on the back check she is aggressive when forechecking Grade: B-
Evelyn Davenport #26 (Ancaster Avalanche U18 AA, F, 2026): Her strong stick check causes turnovers in the D-zone for zone exits that lead to entries in the attacking end. Grade: B-
Ally Cop #27 (Ancaster Avalanche U18 AA, G, 2025): Cop gets out to the top of the crease to square up and challenge shooters. She recovers quickly to handle rebound attempts. Cop handles a high volume of shots. Grade: B-
Sami Harkness #42 (Ancaster Avalanche U18 AA, D, 2025): Harkness has good size and mobile, she is strong in front of her net and battles hard on the boards. She plays good gaps in the NZ and is very strong in 1v1 play. Harkness steps up in the neutral zone to gain inside body position, win possession, and get pucks deep. Her long reach and active stick enable her to clear the front of the net for her goalie to get eyes on the puck. Grade: B-
Kionna McCrory #8 (Ancaster Avalanche U18 AA, F, 2026): McCrory is very quick and can handle the puck to gain the o-zone. She is very good positionally in both ends of the rink. She has the ability to find soft spots in O-zone. She is a player who does not take shifts off. McCrory gets in the shooting lanes and blocks shots with her active stick.
Barrie Sharks U18AA
Lacey Larmand #44 (Barrie Sharks U18 AA, F): Larmand wins draws cleanly to her teammates to start the play with possession. She has quick, soft hands to navigate tight areas and get away a quick wrist shot for chances. She gets in on the forecheck to disrupt the defenders and force errors. Grade: B+
Gabby Stewart #46 (Barrie Sharks U18 AA, D, 2024): Stewart gets pucks through traffic and to the net with a quick snap shot and hard wrist shot from the point. Grade: B+
Brooke Browne #3 (Barrie Sharks U18 AA, F, 2024): Browne is tall, she uses her long reach effectively on forecheck. She is physical and strong on the boards. She plays with a high level of compete in both ends of the rink. Browne applies pressure on the backcheck and uses her strong stick check to take away pucks. Her long reach protects the puck and maintains body position against defenders. She drives the net hard without the puck to pounce on rebounds and create chances. Browne battles and found the puck in a net-front scramble to bang it home for a goal against Peterborough. Grade: B
Abby Holliday #6 (Barrie Sharks U18 AA, D, 2024): Holliday is a strong skating defender who plays with her head up, making precise passes to exit the zone and move the play up quickly. Grade: B
Amelia Zealand #9 (Barrie Sharks U18 AA, F, 2026): Zealand is quick and can handle the puck, she can gain zone possesion and set up plays for trailers. She is effective along the boards, and battles hard for her space. Her soft hands let her cradle passes and make smooth, crafty moves around the opposition. Defensively, she gets into position to provide good coverage and support. She battles along the boards in the neutral zone and in the corners in the offensive zone. Grade: B
Allie Homick #10 (Barrie Sharks U18 AA, F, 2026): Allie is a quick strong skater who plays with high energy. She has a high hockey IQ, she can handle the puck and her passes are tape to tape. She has quick hands to stick check and smart and on the backcheck. Grade: B
Ava Palazzo #24 (Barrie Sharks U18 AA, F, 2025): Palazzo is successful in the faceoff circle, winning battles and drawing pucks cleanly to teammates to start the play with possession. She provides good defensive positioning, coverage, and support. She gets in the shooting lanes and blocks shots. Grade: B
Kaia Harbec #11 (Barrie Sharks U18 AA, F, 2025): Harbec battles along the boards, gets her stick in the passing lanes to intercept pucks, and provides good defensive positioning, coverage, and support. Grade: B-
Mackenzie Newhook #13 (Barrie Sharks U18 AA, D, 2025): Newhook controls and handles the puck with poise and uses her stops and starts to change direction quickly and elude opponents. Grade: B-
Avery Bridgen #72 (Barrie Sharks U18 AA, D, 2024): Brigden plays physically and does a good job taking the body to separate the player from the puck. Her passes are crisp and on the mark. Her first pass hits the winger to leave the zone easily. Grade: B

Mykelti Potts #8 (Belleville Bearcats U18 AA, F, 2025): Potts keeps her feet moving at all times allowing her to be aggressive on the forecheck. Grade: B-
Mikaela MacDowell #16 (Belleville Bearcats U18 AA, F, 2026): MacDowell works well on the PK, keeps shooters to the outside, stick is always moving and forechecks well. Grade: B-
Claire Rathwell #26 (Belleville Bearcats U18 AA, F, 2026): Rathwell drives into the O zone with speed and creates space and time for herself and her teammates with her puck possession: played D most of the game. Grade: B-
Rowynn Cochrane #72 (Belleville Bearcats U18 AA, D, 2025): Made a nice play at the opposing blue line: batted the puck out of the air to keep the play onside – good hand/eye. Grade: C+

Ciena Tagapulot #44 (Belmont Blazers U18 AA, D): Tagapulot has good puck possession skills. She used them effectively on a nice end to end rush. Grade: B-
Kaitlin VanHooydonk #88 (Kitchener Lady Rangers U18 AA, D, 2025): VanHooydonk is a strong defender at her own blue line. She consistently held up the puck carrier as they tried to enter the zone. Grade: B-
Dani Kidder #91 (Belmont Blazers U18 AA, F, 2024): Kidder worked the PKI on a 5 on 3 demonstrating a very active stick. She was able to break up the play and get a breakaway. Grade: B-
Brampton Canadettes U18AA
Kayla O’Toole #11 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, D, 2024): O’Toole possesses good vision and is not afraid to play a physical game. She excels effectively moving the puck up ice. Her shots create rebounds and scoring opportunities for her team. She maintains strong gap control and effectively clears players from the front of the net. Her body positioning and excellent always being between the net and the puck and uses her stick to guide opponents where she wants them to go. Grade: B-
Morgan Dudgeon #18 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, D, 2024): Dudgeon is known for her hard work ethic as a defenseman, supported by a strong backward stride and good timing in both defensive turns and attacking opponents. She demonstrates keen awareness in the neutral zone, consistently tracking the positioning of all players on the ice. She excels in delivering precise passes that hit the tape, utilizing the net to create space for herself and her defensive partner during breakouts. Grade: B-
Michaela Mantia #44 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, D, 2024): Mantia consistently gives her maximum effort every shift, demonstrating a strong desire to be first to the puck and displaying physicality in battles, particularly in front of the net. She aggressively engages along the boards when pinching, employing an active stick to disrupt plays. Mantia effectively uses her body to maintain possession and keep the puck in the offensive zone, often cycling it back down low to sustain pressure. She is excellent with her timing when attacking the pinch. She reads the play well and anticipates with good timing. Grade: B-
Josie Meredith #96 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, F, 2026): Meredith showcases excellent skating ability, particularly with her strong edge work, which allows her to evade pressure and swiftly transition the puck up ice. She is proactive in forechecking, applying pressure to opponents and capitalizing on mistakes to create scoring opportunities for her teammates. Grade: B-
Ava Irwin #15 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, D, 2025): Irwin is active in offense end and directing shots on net to create scoring opportunities. She consistently delivers accurate, tape-to-tape passes to her teammates, facilitating smooth transitions and maintaining offensive momentum. Grade: C+
Cambridge Roadrunners U18AA
Georgia Haller #4 (Cambridge Rivulettes U18 AA, D, 2025): Haller keeps the puck in well at the line, and has great hand-eye coordination, knocking puck out of the air to keep pressure on for her team. She makes good passes throughout the D-zone, and can shoot the puck hard and low from the blue line. She made great passes against Nepean that led to her team getting 3-on-1s and 2-on-1s, which they got grade-A scoring chances out of. Haller is good at maintaining the blue line, denying easy entries and forcing opponents to make difficult decisions by limiting their time and space. She actively contributes to the offense by joining the rush and sustaining pressure through aggressive pinching. Haller displays a determined approach in battles, consistently seeking out optimal plays for her team. Grade: B
Ella Humphrey #19 (Cambridge Roadrunners U18 AA, D, 2024): Humphrey is an elite defender that controls the puck well and can spin off checks very well. She can join the rush when she is able to, and then back check hard once she needed to retrieve pucks in her D-zone corner. She can make crisp passes in the O-zone, and she is not afraid to hold on to the puck in order to find the best play possible. Grade: B
Rachael Burt #93 (Cambridge Roadrunners U18 AA, F, 2025): Burt is a versatile forward who thrives below the hash marks in the O-zone. She is able to fend off checks, and protect the puck with her body very well. She makes nice saucer passes and can get around defenders who are either a bit slower, or flat footed. Grade: B
Campbell Lean #9 (Cambridge Roadrunners U18 AA, D, 2024): Lean is a solid defenseman who consistently moves the puck up the ice, giving her all on every shift. She is always getting the puck in deep, to keep the play alive in O-zone. Lean is extremely big on being a stay-at-home defender, focusing on maintaining defensive stability. Grade: B-
Emma MacDonald #22 (Cambridge Roadrunners U15 AA, F, 2025): E. MacDonald has smooth skating and quick release which is a constant challenge for goaltenders, consistently creating scoring opportunities. Her speed and skill makes her an offensive threat, enabling her to generate scoring chances effectively. She is a reliable player who gives her best every shift. Grade: B-
Maggie MacDonald #27 (Cambridge Roadrunners U18 AA, F, 2024): M. MacDonald possesses strong puck-handling abilities and remains composed in high-pressure situations. She competes vigorously to create scoring chances by directing the puck towards the net. MacDonald is a skilled forward who adeptly maneuvers around opponents when under pressure, utilizing her abilities to maintain possession and advance play effectively. Grade: B-
Kasey Bater #42 (Cambridge Roadrunners U18 AA, F, 2024): Bater is a quick player that skates relentlessly. She is skilled with the puck and can make great edge work plays in the corners. She can turn on a dime, and drive the net hard when she needs to. She is unselfish on 2-on-1s, as she made great passes on those rushes, using her teammates to the best of her ability. Grade: B-
Taylor Miller #88 (Cambridge Roadrunners U18 AA, D, 2025): Miller is a stay at home defender who boxes out opposing forwards very well. She is able to clear the front of the net easily, so her goalie can track point shots coming in. She pinches hard to keep pucks in, and she moves her feet well to escape oncoming traffic in her D-zone. Grade: B-

Abby Pak #13 (Central York Panthers U18 AA, F, 2026): Pak has an offensive threat in her game. She has patience with the puck and finds quality shot lanes. She drives the net and gets shots on. She battles net front, getting her stick on pucks for tips and creating traffic and chaos. Grade: B
Breanne Hurley #18 (Central York Panthers U15AA, D, 2026): Hurley is a strong skater, she has good size, and long reach to effectively steer plays to the perimeter, limiting the scoring opportunities for opposing teams. She excels in battles along the boards, showcasing her strength and determination. She is able to carry the puck out of her zone and displays excellent mobility along the blue line in the offensive zone. Grade: B
Noa Marincola #27 (Central York Panthers U18 AA, F, 2025): Marincola looks for the outlet pass lanes from the time she picks up pucks in the corner. She threads passes through traffic and quickly moves the puck through the neutral zone. Grade: B
Emma Hung #93 (Central York Panthers U18 AA, F, 2026): Hung keeps herself aware with head checks before picking up the puck in the corner. She jumps in to create odd-man rushes. Grade: B
Elizabeth Janovski #97 (Central York Panthers U18 AA, F, 2026): Janovski has strong puck control while driving the net and creates scoring chances. Grade: B
Clara Liu #65 (Central York Panthers U18 AA, F, 2025): Liu moves the puck up ice quickly with crisp on the tape passes. Liu is a skilled skater with a solid frame, enabling her to excel on the ice. She effectively utilizes her stick to disrupt opponents and swiftly closes down on players in her defensive zone. She demonstrates strength and reliability in front of her own net, effectively clearing the crease and defending against opposing forwards. When in possession of the puck, she utilizes her body to shield it from defenders, maintaining control and making sound decisions under pressure. Grade: B-
Brooklyn Vito #66 (Central York Panthers U18 AA, F, 2026): Vito has good size and speed and uses the boards well to distribute the puck. Moving the puck to outlet passes off the backboards behind the net and the sideboards to spring a stretch pass on the tape. She plays a physical game, blocking shots and jumping into the offence with strong on-target point shots and net drives off the rush. She scored picking up a rebound off a rush by crashing the net. Grade: B-
Allie Dinsmore #91 (Central York Panthers U18 AA, F, 2025): Dinsmore has a quick hard shot with accuracy. She used the D as a screen 1v1 and fired it top glove. The tender did not even see it. Grade: B-
Addison Mitchell #30 (Central York Panthers U18 AA, G, 2026): Mitchell has a mid-crease challenge and a tight butterfly stance that allows her to block shots. She stays with the play, making a breakaway save and sprawling saves. Grade: B-

Libby Pink #58 (Chatham Kent Crush U18 AA, D, 2025): Pink is a great defenseman who excels in physical battles, particularly in the corners against opponents. She plays a stay-at-home defensive style, she effectively limits the options of her opponents, forcing them to the outside where she engages physically, utilizing body checks in one-on-one situations and aggressively pinning opponents to regain possession of the puck. She exhibits smart decision-making when pinching in the offensive zone and prioritizes safe plays to maintain offensive pressure. Grade: B
Lilia Hunter #73 (Chatham Kent Crush U18 AA, D, 2026): Hunter demonstrates exceptional awareness and vision on the ice. She exhibits patience with the puck, avoiding rushed plays and makes smart decisions when moving it up ice. In the offensive zone, Hunter is great at finding open lanes to create shooting opportunities for herself, using her accurate shot to generate scoring chances for her team. Her ability to read the play and make smart offensive choices contributes significantly to the offensive strategy of her team. Grade: B-
Katelyn Malaniuk #77 (Chatham Kent Crush U18 AA, F, 2024): Malaniuk brings a physical presence to her game, particularly in front of her own net where she aggressively clears opponents from the crease. She uses her stick well to angle out players in net front. She excels at identifying open shooting lanes and delivering powerful shots on net to create scoring chances for her team. Her activeness on the blueline is great, she is able to sneak around opponents and get open and be an option for her teammates. Grade: B-
Ava Meriano #92 (Chatham Kent Crush U18 AA, D, 2026): Meriano is a good defenseman known for her strong work ethic and consistent performance. She excels in maintaining proper positioning across all three zones, ensuring defensive stability. Active on the blue line, she efficiently executes line changes, quickly transitioning to and from the bench. Meriano effectively utilizes her time and space on the ice, making decisive, heads-up plays to support the strategy that her team has in place. Her defensive approach primarily focuses on a reliable stay-at-home style, prioritizing defensive responsibilities. Grade: B-
Ella DeMaeyer #9 (Chatham Kent Crush U18 AA, D, 2025): DeMaeyer is great at contributing to the offensive rush. After the play is done she quickly transitions back to her defensive role with unwavering effort. Her recovery is seamless, ensuring she remains in optimal defensive positioning. She is consistently positioning herself effectively to support the defensive efforts of her team. She uses an active stick and head is always on a swivel looking for potential threats and tracking players. Grade: C+
Clarington Flames U18AA
Dani Brown #2 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, D, 2024): Good skating skills, using that to rush pucks or handle in tight situations until given the opportunity to move the puck. Brown is calm with the puck. She makes great passes while under pressure and plays a solid defensive game. Brown gets pucks through traffic and to the net with a hard wrist shot from the point. She ties up in front and blocks shots in the shooting lanes. Grade: B
Regan Briese #17 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, F, 2024): Briese is a hard working forward that skates very smoothly on her edges. Her crossovers are quick, and she is able to get to top speed in a quick manner. She can additionally handle the puck well and battle hard while digging in the corners. She is always pressuring the defenders of opposing teams hard, trying to cause turnovers and mistakes. She shoots hard and quick as well. Grade: B
Sydney Fergusson #22 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, D, 2024): Fergusson is a solid defender. She is stable and steady. She makes the safe play with the puck and does not create danger in the D-zone while on the ice. She passes well to her wingers along the walls of the breakout, while additionally using her D-partner well too. Grade: B
Madeline Watters #24 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, F, 2026): Watters is a quick shooter off the fly. She can shoot on one leg, while falling, backhanded, etc. Her offensive instincts are high, and other teams watch out for her on the forecheck, as she is on-top of skaters quickly. She is able to protect the puck well and use her feet to her advantage. Grade: B
Kacie Stolarek #13 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, F, 2025): Stolarek applies pressure and picks up open players on the backcheck. Her passes are crisp and, on the tape, to move the play up ice and create chances. Defensively, she takes the body and bumps opponents off the puck in the D-zone. Grade: B-
Aliana Gibson #16 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, F, 2025): Gibson has good speed and forces turnovers of the forecheck, giving her team possession and herself scoring chances. She is first on loose pucks and has a good shot. Gibson can pass crisply as well, as she plays heads-up hockey through the neutral zone upon the zone entry. Grade: B-
Avery Clow #23 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, D, 2025): Clow moves the puck smoothly back and forth with her partner to regroup. She gets in the shooting lanes and blocks shots. Grade: B-
Anna Crowley #77 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, D, 2026): Crowley is a solid skater and jumps into the rush. If the puck is lost she is quick to get back on the backcheck to her position. She moves the puck well and gets good shots on net for scoring chances. She plays the body well and makes good passes on the breakout. Grade: B-
Sydney Rock #9 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, D, 2025): Rock can control the puck well and uses her strength to clear screens in front of the net for her goalie. Grade: C+
Jaime Hellam #10 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, F, 2026): Hellam uses her body to protect the puck. She skates hard on the forecheck, forcing turnovers and gaining puck possession. Her passes are crisp and, on the tape, to create chances. Grade: C+
Samantha Hogan #11 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, D, 2025): Hogan is a reliable defender that clears the front of the net, being a stay-at-home defender. She is able to pass the puck well and out of the zone very promptly. She can skate smoothly while along the blue line on the powerplay. She can take strong slap shots as well, which were low and hard, having her teammates tip them on goal. While against London, she was able to get around opposing forecheckers through poise with the puck and her high hockey IQ. Grade: C+
Savannah Payne #14 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, F, 2024): Payne has great IQ and takes pucks hard to the net. She is always floating around the net with or without the puck. She is great in the dzone, tracking open players, backchecking hard and supporting her defense in the corners. Payne plays physically and takes the body to bump opponents off the puck. Grade: C+
Daria Manarin #20 (Clarington Flames U18 AA, F, 2026): Manarin is a tall forward and uses her reach to her advantage. She uses her size to protect the puck and drive hard to the net for scoring chances. Good shot. Grade: C+
Cornwall U18AA
Amerie Delormier #12 (Cornwall Typhoons U18 AA, D, 2025): Delormier quarterbacks the PP effectively for her team. Everything goes through her or comes back to her. Grade: B
Kamryn Fraser #15 (F, 2025): Fraser is strong skater that plays with her head on a swivel. She is always in the play and the puck seems to find her regularly. Grade: B
Danika Canham #11 (F, 2025): Canham is good on the forecheck and seems to be a real water bug on the ice. Grade: B-
Durham West U18AA
Kennedy Riches #7 (Durham West Lightning U18 AA, F, 2025): Riches provides crisp on-the-tape passing to create give-n-goes on the rush. Her acceleration gets her up to top speed to win the puck for zone entries. She applies pressure on the backcheck to steal pucks in the neutral zone and transition for zone entries. Riches battles hard below the red line. Grade: B+
Caprie Chaulk #91 (Durham West Lightning U18 AA, F, 2026): Chaulk is always on the move in the offensive zone. She plays a heads-up game contributing greatly to the offense created off the cycle. She scored twice in this game with great net front awareness. The first by creating an offensive threat with a heads-up pass off the cycle then crashing the net to put the rebound in the back of the net. Her second was a tap-in on a net drive off a board-wide pass. Chaulk gets in quickly on the forecheck, gains inside body position, and bumps players off the puck to gain possession and create chances. She has soft hands to navigate through tight spaces with the puck and rip wrist shots on net. She is successful in the faceoff circle, winning more than fifty percent of draws cleanly to teammates to start the play with possession. Grade: B+
Jasmine Ke #6 (Durham West Lightning U18 AA, D, 2027): Ke plays physically and takes the body to separate the player from the puck. She manages the blue line well, keeping pucks in, maintaining pressure, and making smooth passes net-front to create scoring chances. She shows patience with the puck on the powerplay as she gets into position to crush slapshots on net from the point. Grade: B
London Cann #10 (Durham West Lightning U18 AA, F, 2026): Cann uses her speed effectively at both ends of the rink. She gets in quickly to forecheck aggressively and force errors then hustles back to apply pressure and cause turnovers on the backcheck. Grade: B
Madison Sialtsis #16 (Durham West Lightning U18 AA, F, 2026): Sialtsis has soft hands to navigate tight spaces and take the puck to the net under pressure for chances. She forechecks with an active stick and forces errors. Grade: B
Mackenzie Riches #27 (Durham West Lightning U18 AA, F, 2026): Riches protects the puck during net drives, ensuring she gets pucks to the net effectively. Her acceleration and strong edge work enable her to reach top-end speed quickly, making her frequently the first to the puck. On the penalty kill, Riches gets in quickly on the forecheck to disrupt the powerplay breakout, hindering the setup of her opponents. She controls and handles the puck with patience and poise, always finding the opening to send a crisp pass on the tape to an open teammate. Grade: B
Taia MacDonald #65 (Durham West Lightning U18 AA, F, 2026): MacDonald uses her physicality to separate the player from the puck along the boards. Her first 3 strides are quick and powerful allowing her to win short puck races. She frequently jumps into the play with speed and physicality and is a lot for defenders to handle. MacDonald controls and handles the puck with poise as she gets to the middle to snap pucks on net from the point on the powerplay. Grade: B
Olivia Cote-Wawryszn #66 (Durham West Lightning U18 AA, F, 2025): Cote-Wawryszn is a heads-up defender who is patient with the puck. She has the strong puck and skating skills to make space for herself and move through opponents to create scoring opportunities. Cote-Wawryszn uses her acceleration and speed effectively to angle puck carriers and take away pucks in the D-zone. Her strong stick check steals pucks and denies opportunities from puck carriers. Grade: B

Uma Peterson #97 (Durham West Lightning U18 AA, F, 2026): Peterson is strong on the draw, winning more than fifty percent of faceoffs cleanly in even-strength and odd-man situations to start the play with possession. She pounces on loose pucks and gains control with her quick hands to make precise passes and get quality shots on goal. Peterson gets in quickly on the forecheck with an active stick to force errors and cause turnovers. Georgia Meilleur #46 (Kemptville U18AA, D, 2025): Meilleur is a good defender. She is great at clearing net front and body positioning. She plays a heads-up game while looking for the best option. She has great awareness and knows her surroundings. She battles well with her physicality and body position. Meilleur excels as a defender, ensuring her own net is secure by clearing attacking forwards to give her goalie a clear view of the puck from afar. She plays smart, “heads-up” hockey and effectively guides opposing forwards into less threatening areas of the ice to minimize their scoring opportunities. Grade: B

Ashley Mayhew #44 (Niagara Rapids U18 AA, F, 2024): Plays a strong high forward role in the ozone which generated her goal. She has a rocky shot that is released quickly after receiving the puck. Mayhew is a hard-working forward, pressuring girls all over the ice. Ashley makes safe plays with the puck in the ozone and anticipates plays very well. Ashley consistently makes herself available for outlet passes through the NZ. Grade: B+

Danika West #17 (North Bay Ice Boltz U18 AA, F, 2024): West is a strong quick skater, she can handle and rush the puck. She uses her good vision to make nice saucer passes in the o-zone. She can find open ice in the o-zone and is a strong player in her own zone. West contributes to the offence by finding shots lanes off the blue line and getting her hard-low shot through traffic and on target. She hustles hard, getting back on a play, stealing the puck, turning the play back up-ice and into a scoring chance. Grade: B+
Kiana Fortin #4 (North Bay Ice Boltz U18 AA, F, 2026): Fortin is very quick, she is aggressive on the forecheck. She pressures the puck all over the O-zone. She is a very strong penalty killer, she has quick feet and an active stick. She is very good positionally in the D-zone. Fortin creates havoc net front by being willing to battle through physical play and point shots. She assisted with a nice deflection off a point shot that created a rebound that her team was able to capitalize on. Grade: B
Ava Assinewai #7 (North Bay Ice Boltz U18 AA, F, 2024): Assinewai is very tall and strong positionally in both ends. She is physical, and battles on the PK. She is strong along the boards and in the faceoff circle. Assinewai has the stick skills to pick up imperfect passes. She goes to the net with the pucks and gets shots on. She scored on the PP by battling net-front and jumping on a point-shot rebound. Grade: B

Egann O’Hara #8 (North Halton Twisters U18 AA, F, 2026): O’Hara is a playmaker who likes to pass the puck, but also grind down low when needed. Her quick stick and quick feet are able to allow her to pounce on loose pucks and win 50/50 battles. With that being said, she is rarely knocked off the puck as well, demonstrated by her down low play against Windsor throughout the game. She got nice chances throughout the offensive zone, and she had a knack of jumping on rebounds. O’Hara has quick hands on the draw, winning pucks cleanly to teammates to start the play with possession. Grade: B+
Emily Shamblaw #39 (North Halton Twisters U18 AA, G, 2024): Shamblaw is calm in goal, tracking pucks and getting beyond the top of the blue paint to square up and challenge shooters. Her lateral movement is quick and strong, and she has quick pads. Shamblaw was challenged in many ways against Oakville, she stood with confidence and patience while being aware of Oakville forwards who did not stop moving traffic around the net. she was quick with her glove, and read the puck well through a crowd. Georgia Cunliffe #4 (North Halton Twisters U18 AA, F, 2025): Cunliffe is very quick and shows support all over the ice, she chases down loose pucks hard with her high energy work ethic. She makes safe smart choices with the puck. She will work through checks and is very strong along the boards. Cunliffe showcases her skill and composure by controlling and handling the puck with poise, cutting to the slot to rip wrist shots on goal for quality scoring chances. She demonstrates excellent hockey IQ, patiently reading the play and intercepting breakout passes to sustain offensive pressure. Cunliffe battles hard below the red line, using her body position to win puck battles and create opportunities for her team. Defensively, she provides reliable coverage and support, ensuring stability in her end. Fletcher wins a high percentage of draws cleanly to her teammates to start the play with possession. She stays with her center off the draw. She tipped one in at the goalmouth for a powerplay goal against North York in the championship game. Grade: B-

Jordin Whiteye #6 (Windsor U18 AA, F, 2024): Whiteye is a quick forechecker and will park herself in front of the net and fish for garbage goals. She is not afraid to get hit or bodied at all, as she will continue to work through contact and fend it off.
