USA Hockey Nationals: U14 Tier 1

From April 29th-May 3rd, 2021, Neutral Zone scouted the USA Hockey Tier 1 Nationals that were held in West Chester, PA. Four scouts were hard at work, virtually, to cover every team at the U14, U16, and U19 levels. The following report features top performers from the U14 division. Players are in no particular order beneath their respective letter grades.

A+

Ella Pukala #77 (Chicago Mission U14, F, 2025): Has great size and has a significant physical advantage at this level. She is smart, patient and makes good passes. Handles well around heavy traffic. works in all three zones. She has good puck control and digs in front of the net. Can continue to improve her speed and quickness on the draw as she develops, but she is overall a very effective player. She is a goal scorer who can pick corners. A fierce forechecker who is a big offensive threat when she has the puck. Jumps on any opportunity and puts it in the back of the net.. Defensively, Pukala is tenacious on the backcheck, shows good positioning to support the D and cover opponents, and gets in the shooting lanes to block shots. 

A

Emma Gnade #3 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, F, 2025): Sees the ice well and is able to identify good passing lanes. She cuts back if necessary to lose an opponent and deliver a hard and accurate pass. Moves well with good speed. She keeps strong puck control and is a dynamic player with a strong skill set in all aspects. 

Lauren Goldsworthy #9 (Minnesota Lakers, D, 2024): Goldsworthy has mobile feet that she can rely on. She jumps down into the slot as a shooting option but has the ability to get back quick if the pass does not come. Great on the powerplay, both at the top or on the wall. She makes good passes and can hit the backdoor. Steps up and takes control in the NZ making sure she gets over the red to get the puck deep. She stood out defensively as well, winning puck battles and blocking shots on the PK in the quarterfinal. Offensively, she jumps up consistently and is very hard to knock off the puck, making smart passes including a nice assist on a key tying goal.

Courtney Little #12 (Minnesota Green Giants, D, 2025): Moves through space with ease, when she takes it up, she is able to slip in and out of lanes in the o-zone while maintaining great puck control. Scored the first goal for her team against Pens elite with two players pressuring her hard. Good wall presence on the 1-3-1 PP while having the speed to get back and help if the puck exits the zone. Very reliable in her own zone, pressures pucks and creates smooth breakouts. She was able to chip one out to send her teammates on a 2 v 1 which led to MN’s second goal against Pens Elite. Little manages the blueline well keeping pucks in to maintain pressure and gets shots on goal for chances. She reads the play well and gets her stick in the passing lanes to break up plays. Does a good job angling players to the boards to be stripped of the puck.

A-

Carla McSweeny #44 (Chicago Young Americans U14, F, 2025): Great set up on the powerplay. She plays at the point and makes smart give-n-go plays. A 2-way player with great defensive instincts. She negates her opponent’s attack and turns it into a chance for CYA. She fills lanes, cuts passes, and puts physical pressure on her opponent. She has strong size and good speed, ability to beat defenders to dumped pucks with a hard working stride. Patience, poise, communication, vision and strength are key components of McSweeney’s game. Scored one and had two helpers vs Washington.

Addison Spitz #17 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2024): Spitz is a strong fast skater with good hockey sense. Her outside speed lets her blow by the D to drive the net and quickly release a shot on goal. Pounces on loose pucks for possession, protection and control. A good physical aspect in her game with hard battles below the redline. A scoring threat every shift, she can bury the biscuit with a tricky tip, a dirty deke off the faceoff, and a slick snipe for a shorty. Scored a hattrick vs Jersey. Spitz combines with Cline to be a formidable one – two scoring punch to drive a good portion of the offense for the Caesars.

Mia Kraut #6 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2026): Kraut is a smaller player but she is a great skater. She has good hockey sense and is very well positioned offensively. She is good off the draw and is relied on in key situations. Willing to backcheck and engage in battle, despite her size, she is gritty! Has a strong back hand shot. Kraut communicates well with her linemates calling plays and directing linemates for the faceoff. She handles the puck smoothly to set up for flat lead passes to breaking wingers. Defensively, the forward has good positioning to support the D and cover opponents.

Zola Piekarski #7 (East Coast Wizards U14, F, 2025): Zola is a skilled forward who uses turns and edges well to escape defenders. She has good vision and uses points well. She has speed to drive the net and beat defenders wide. She does an excellent job lowering her shoulder on net drives to protect the puck and has good hands in tight. Won three puck battles then worked the give and go to bury a nice one vs Hartford. 

Morgan McGathey #5 (East Coast Wizards U14, F, 2025): Morgan is a play-driving forward who gains the line with elite speed and quickness in puck races. She sees the ice well and can drive to the net either wide or right through traffic. She has a strong shot and consistently works her way into shooting positions. 

Zoe Lopez #5 (Minnesota Walleye, F, 2024): Zoe is a tall forward who wins battles on the cycle and protects the puck on the boards and while driving the net with her frame and long reach. She skates well and is very shifty and mobile for a taller player. She can make moves in traffic and with speed.

Kaeli Koopman #14 (Minnesota Walleye, F, 2024): Kaeli is a shifty forward who wins battles and is able to use good edgework to navigate the offensive zone. She scored an early goal on a nice shot from the slot. She makes stickhandling moves and toe-drags at full speed. 

Whitney Horton #7 (Minnesota Lakers, F, 2026): Tall player with an accurate shot. Got the first goal against Little Caesar’s. She has a long and fast stride to break away from the play. She handles the puck quickly and gets lots of pucks on net. She is a smart offensive player who does a nice job taking the puck into the middle of the ice offensively, drawing defenders in and dishing out to the wings for chances. 

Avery Kasick #10 (Minnesota Green Giants, D, 2025): Great puck control. She anticipates the play well which allows her to intercept passes and make her opponent pay. She has good mobility at the offensive blue to keep the puck and get a shooting opportunity. Kasick does a good job angling opponents away from opportunities. 

Ashlyn Abrahamson #15 (Team North Dakota U14, F, 2025): Ashley moves through the neutral zone with speed and circles the offensive zone with her head up. She makes smart passes and is willing to compete to drive the net. She is agile and uses her edgework to elude defenders. 

Layla Hemp #20 (Minnesota Green Giants, G, 2025): Challenges play well. Made a couple key saves when her team was on the PP. Quick reactions for multi rebound saves. Has a very calm presence in net, doesn’t seem worked up about odd man rushes, she just deflects pucks to the corners and sets up for the next shot, a steady calm demeanor. Made big saves in the Championship vs. Mission, showing that she can compete with top teams. 

Rachel Gorbatenko #71 (Chicago Mission U14, D, 2025): Tall and physical, which is a great advantage at this level. She is an effective angler. Sees the stretch pass and can hit it quick. Very effective from the point getting shots off and holding the o zone. Rachel also showed very good mobility exiting the zone and walking the line to get quick, low shots to the net, creating rebound opportunities and traffic in the crease. Plays a lot of minutes. Involved in the winning goal in OT for the championship. 

Rose Dwyer #26 (Philadelphia Junior Flyers U14, D, 2024): Reads the attacking pressure well and knows when to step up. Has good control of her gap and keeps players to the outside. She is a good skater and has good size, and when she jumps up offensively, she shows good hands at speed and protects the puck with long reach. She’s able to get back defensively, using long strides to cover ground and close gaps. 

Maielle Schugel #11 (Minnesota Lakers, D, Unknown GY): Willing to skate it up with good speed and puck control. Shot gets through to the net. Great awareness. She steps up to intercept passes in the neutral zone and skates them down herself. She is a tall defender who uses her stick well defensively, and protects the puck with her reach on the rush. 

Taylor Porthan #6 (Minnesota Lakers, D, 2024): Quick move to beat pressure, then she slips by them and gets it to the net front. Successful at getting pucks out of her zone. She knows how to go into the boards with a player and keep possession. Crisp and accurate passer. She does a nice job using turns and edges to escape forecheckers and skate the puck out of the D-zone.

Adrienne Hall #5 (Hartford Jr. Lady Wolfpack U14, F, 2024): Picked off a puck from the MN Walleye D and went down on a breakaway. She showed quick speed and made a good move on the goalie. She was stopped on the initial shot but was able to poke it in after. Gives her full effort every shift and it pays off for her. Hall is a fiesty player who does not give up on plays. She can read the ice well and is strong on her skates. She showed her toughness well in the corners winning many 50/50 battles. She is very good at performing set plays to create scoring chances for her linemates. Had three apples vs Caesars. 

Hannah Christenson #5 (Minnesota Green Giants, F, 2025): Headman’s the puck then follows up the play with speed and good hustle. She has slick puck handling skills to dangle defenders. She can drive the wing with speed and button hook on a dime to hit the net drivers. She has poise and is able to make smooth, calm passes on the PK to ensure a smooth zone exit and no icing.  Christenson is aggressive on the forecheck and is often first to the puck. Plays the top on the PP and gets pucks to the net. Can receive a pass on the fly without losing any speed. 

Liviya Rubin #20 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, G, 2024): Tracked the puck well in the low shot game against Washington. She was set and ready for whatever was to come her way. Love to see that focus in younger goalies, will set her on a good path for success. She faced more rubber against Minnesota and was just and engaged and ready. Covers holes nicely on the initial shot and has quick reactions to rebounds. She was able to track pucks from redirects in tight. Kept her team in it while they killed many penalties against MN Green. 

Shayna Parry #22 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, D, 2024): Good speed driving in from the point to get to a loose puck. Good shot on net. She moves well with her winger, gives an option and hops to the boards for support if necessary. Showing good smarts from the offensive blue already. 

Maisie Koo #17 (Hartford Jr. Lady Wolfpack U14, D): Accurate passes. She has power behind her shot but needs to gain a bit more balance in her stride to be able to release it at full strength in stride. Koo is a smart player and navigates the o-zone well. She supports her teammates and is able to create chances. 

Zoey Krock #18 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, F, 2025): Krock has decent speed up ice. She is hungry for a goal and is always hanging around the net. Her net presence and compete level were rewarded with a goal against MN on the PP. 

Mya Kearns #27 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, D, 2025): Great as the last line of defense. Came across hard to strip a MN Green player of the puck who had picked up a ton of speed. She set up a beauty powerplay goal by hitting the back door with a quick accurate pass. We like her offensive vision and defensive instincts. 

Natalia Disora #63 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, F, 2026): Smaller in size but gritty. She is a real net front presence with a strong work ethic. Doesn’t give up on the puck and won’t stop working for the rebound until the whistle. 2-way hard worker with some speed. 

Nora Sauer #19 (Minnesota Green Giants, F, 2024): Sauer is a strong penalty killer. She is able to beat icings and kill more time in the o-zone. Able to put pucks on net and keep good puck control. She is able to weave through o-zone space with intensity to get pucks to the net. Physical, edgy and feisty, the good-sized forward uses her body effectively to keep pucks in to maintain pressure, create turnovers on the forecheck and shield the puck from the opposition. She directs her linemates in the faceoff circle and dishes good lead passes on the PP. 

Isabella Gratzl #13 (Chicago Young Americans U14, F/D, 2025): Smart and consistent on the point. She uses the space available to her, and will walk all the way into the net if possible. She is a smooth and mobile skater with a scoring touch as a defender. Steps up and can skate it out of the d-zone herself. She is able to handle pretty heavy pressure without losing the puck. Has that offensive touch and with speed and control, she is able to rush the puck. Has good patience, poise and vision. Scored one and had three helpers vs Washington. 

Heather Wolff #1 (Chicago Mission U14, D, 2025): Technically sound. She has strong positioning, very sharp angles at the initial shot. Does a good job of absorbing pucks to negate rebound attempts, particularly when her team is killing penalties. Wolff is a key component to this Mission team as their fierce offense cannot stand on its own without a strong goaltender as competition gets tougher. 

Natalie Joiner #23 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2025): Smaller sized but a great skater. She is fast and smooth through lanes.  Joiner plays physical, backchecks hard and supports the D. She is solid on the draw and feeds her linemates crisp, flat passes. Scored a sick shorty on a coast to coast run vs Team Colorado. 

Maggie Hunter #11 (Little Caesars U14, D, 2024): Hinges well, and has good chemistry with her partner. Sees lanes through the neutral zone on the regroup and makes accurate passes. Good quick feet. Often the last line of defense when her teammates get beat. Shows confidence and great upside. Hunter maintains good gap control, pinches successfully and battles hard. She makes smart, accurate passes to set up linemates for goals. Two assists vs New Jersey and another two vs Hartford. 

Drew Dyczkowski #13 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2024): Scored in the first few seconds against MN Lakers. Good playmaking abilities. One-touch passes on the power play. Fills lanes in her own zone and quickly transitions to offense. Big offensive threat for this team with her dynamic skill set. Dyczkowski uses her speed to be first on the puck and drive to the net for shots on goal. She had a good physical component seen in battles along the boards and on the forecheck. 

Paige Cline #44 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2024): Cline is strong on her stick and protects the puck well driving to the net to release a heavy shot on goal. She battles hard and is often first to the puck. Excellent vision finding her linemates and feeding accurate passes for scoring opportunities. Cline has a great scoring touch and is a large part of the Caesars offense. Scored a nice Hatty vs New Jersey. 

Trinity Walsh #13 (Team Colorado U14, F, 2024): Walsh has a great work ethic and energy in her game. She has good hockey sense and hustles every shift. A smooth skater with separation speed, she can pull away to get into open spaces or drive the net for shots on goal. The forward has a good awareness of the play and finds open linemates to feed for scoring chances. Aggressively forechecks, battles and wins pucks then hustles back to get into position to support the D and cover opponents. Walsh is extremely fast on the draw, winning the majority clean for possession.

McKenna Walsh #93 (Chicago Mission U14, F, 2024): Walsh is a smaller sized player but she is very quick. She keeps great control of the puck with escape turns, she is effective at evading pressure and keeping possession. She does get pushed off the puck at times, but as she grows and develops, this will improve. She certainly has the skill set to take her to the next level. Walsh has a good physical component in her game, backchecking hard, blocking shots and battling to get pucks deep. She finds the seam to feed accurate passes to linemates especially on the powerplay. Solid on the draw, she was called upon for critical faceoffs in the last minute of the championship game. 

Iris Cheng #55 (Chicago Mission U14, F, 2025): Gets the shot off. Iris showed good speed on the rush, and is a shifty skater who uses her edge work to weave in and out of traffic. She makes smart puck decisions and is a threat to pass or shoot, with a quick release, in the offensive zone. She is heavily involved in the Mission offense, though she hasn’t shown up on the scoreboard, her work leads to shots on goal and o-zone faceoffs. She gets chances on net and can handle a lot of physical pressure as she rushes the puck. Cheng is hungry for a goal and her offensive presence got increasingly intense throughout the Championship game.  Cheng battles hard below the redline and is relentless in pursuit on the forecheck. She communicates well with her linemates. Cheng is an impactful player to watch.

Peyton O’neill #17 (Chicago Mission U14, F, 2024): Good speed and holds the puck to the outside well to protect and drive the net. Very effective o-zone movement. She was able to score against Buffalo after a shift of skill and effort. Good hands and does a nice job keeping control of the puck through traffic and around the net.  O’Neill is a hard working physical player, forechecking with an active stick to bump opponents off the puck for turnovers, rushing the point to block shots and battling in the corners below the redline. She uses her speed to forecheck and battle on the PK to kill seconds off the clock. 

Lauren Karl #21 (Minnesota Lakers, D, 2024): Distributes well in the o-zone and is hungry for a goal with good compete. Willing to back check. She has great size and isn’t afraid of physicality. Though it may lead to some penalties at this level, the physical aspect of her game will be crucial for the next levels. Great intensity and compete. She showed decent edge work and soft hands when she was in possession of the puck, creating some chances. 

Molly MacCurtain #9 (East Coast Wizards U14, F, 2024): Molly showed good quick hands at the net on a goal. She is consistently able to stickhandle and control the puck in and out of traffic and sees the ice very well, delaying and creating space for herself before making passes. 

Kiera Hanczar #97 (Chicago Mission U14, F, 2025): Hanczar battles hard on the forecheck. She feeds flat passes to the point and covers for the D. Shields the puck well on net drives. Overall strong skill with simple choices allow her to contribute in all three zones.

Bauer Ackerman #20 (Team North Dakota U14, D, Unknown GY): Bauer is a very quick defender who loves to jump up offensively. She is easily able to take the puck end-to-end and drive the net, while getting back defensively as needed. Has offensive upside with the ability to take care of her own end first.

Sophia Rousseau #19 (Hartford Jr. Lady Wolfpack U14, D, 2024): Great sized defender. She moves well laterally and was strong on the powerplay from the point. Rousseau uses her size and physical play to bump opponents off the puck. The defender manages the blueline well and steps up to break plays and maintain pressure. 

Jaidyn Nass #16 (Team North Dakota U14, F, Unknown GY):  Jaidyn works the cycle and the half-wall well in the offensive zone, winning battles and making good passes, including to the points, for chances. Jaidyn had a strong game against Hartford, creating many scoring chances for her team. She has good vision on the forecheck and is able to force players wide. She can quickly transition which allows her to gain speed.

NIa Shill #31 (Philadelphia Junior Flyers U14, G, 2025): Nia came up big on a couple occasions, making point-blank breakaway saves and saves on odd-man rushes, and did a nice job controlling and steering aside rebounds. Excited about the chance to watch Nia develop.

Shelby Shane #8 (Philadelphia Junior Flyers U14, D, 2025): Hard quick shot from the blue line. Finds the open lanes from the point to allow the puck to get to the net. She showed quick feet and good mobility exiting the D-zone. Has good instincts on jumping up in the rush, and scored on a nice shot from the high slot. 

Taylor Scott #4 (Philadelphia Junior Flyers U14, D, 2024): Taylor does a good job at walking the blue line while keeping her head up. Had a great shot for the first goal of the game in game 2 for the Flyers. Taylor is a tall, mobile defender who pinches well and uses her stick to defend well. She exits the zone with her feet or with crisp passes. 

Addison Bowlby #13 (Minnesota Lakers, F, 2024): Quick feet and ability to control and protect the puck. She is very evasive in the o-zone and tough to take the puck from. A true 2-way worker who backchecks with purpose. We are excited to see how Bowlby will develop to continue to impact the game consistently.

Alex Mitsakis #8 (East Coast Wizards U14, F, 2025): Alex has a high compete level and consistently gets the puck on her stick because of her hard work away from the puck to retrieve it. She competes to get to the net and into the slot for chances. 

Grace Morin #71 (NJ Colonials U14, 2025): A noticeable player who is a powerhouse for NJ. Has good speed and can move up the ice with purpose. Good on her edges and uses that to allow her to escape in tight areas. Grace uses her stick well to take away passing options . When the puck is on her stick she will create chances in the offensive zone looking to shoot or set up a teammate. A true team player . Morin has a solid slapshot and is good on the draw. 

Ella Pasqua #12 (Minnesota Lakers, D, 2025): Pasqua has good size and a smooth stride. Makes a good first pass to start the breakout. Has a nice shot from the point, and can skate it in if she has the space. Has good puck protection and control. 

B

Anna Warren #9 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, D, 2024): Warren lets lots of point shots go. Her shot is hard and level but she can continue to develop her aim to ensure more pucks are on net. She moves the puck to safe areas showing her smarts and giving her team the chance at smooth breakouts.

Hailey Jussila #15 (Minnesota Green Giants, F, 2024): Good escape turns and didn’t force the play in the neutral zone, she took her time and found the right pass.  Jussila is strong on the draws, winning a majority clean for possession especially on the PP. She battles hard and is aggressive on the forecheck.  

Mackenzie Jones #18 (Minnesota Green Giants, D, 2025):  Good puck handling along the point. Nice accurate shot on net. She has size which allows good reach in her own zone.  Jones does a good job with a reverse D to D. She makes a crisp first pass on the tape and hits the stretch to move the puck up ice quickly.

Noelle Hemr #4 (Minnesota Green Giants, F, 2024): Hemr is a fast skater. She handles the puck in full flight to drive the lane for shots on goal. She makes accurate passes and is often first to the puck. 

Olivia Robbins #25 (Washington Pride U14, F, 2024): Had success skating pucks out of her zone. She has a good work ethic and was a good passing option for her teammates. Good size and is fully engaged in the o-zone, would just like to see an extra gear in the d-zone for better coverage. She battles hard and aggressively on the forecheck. 

Kacey Blum #4 (Washington Pride U14, D, Unknown GY): Good size and can carry it out of the zone while protecting it. When her team got into trouble in their zone, she was able to get the puck moving. Good physical play getting inside body position and bumping players off the puck. 

Zoe Westlake #21 (Chicago Young Americans U14, F, 2025): Cloggs up lanes in the neutral zone, making it difficult for opponents to enter her zone. Handles herself well in physical play.

Sophia Taylor #77 (Chicago Young Americans U14, D, 2024): Forechecks hard and does a good job bumping opponents off the puck to create turnovers. The center wins faceoff battles and clean draws. She slammed home a nice rebound goal on the PP vs Washington. 

Talia Ondy #26 (Hartford Jr. Lady Wolfpack U14, F, Unknown GY): Good size and carries the puck well. Can continue to develop her positioning on the rush to be the most effective option. She hunts down loose pucks with effort. Has a good net front presence, especially on the PP. Quick release shot. Calm and poised when executing a faceoff play to receive a pass and deke the tendy for a beauty vs Caesars. 

Maya Lileika #3 (Hartford Jr. Lady Wolfpack U14, F, 2024): Lileika uses her speed to gain the zone and drive the net for shots on goal. She establishes a good net presence to jam pucks and bury rebounds. She was able to come up big in this way vs Caesars where she buried a rebound and jammed a second for 2 goals.

Lizzie Hamel #16 (Minnesota Walleye, F, 2024): Hamel is a fast forward who skates into the offensive zone with speed, and challenges defenders both wide and right up the middle in an effort to get to the net. She is effective on the powerplay, was able to keep a puck in the zone in a tricky situation. 

Bailey Gray #7 (Minnesota Walleye, D, 2024): A good effort level. Worked back hard against Hartford when a player was on a breakaway and stopped them. She has speed and good dangles when she skates it up. Good upside. 

Bryn Etzell #13 (Minnesota Walleye, D): Bryn likes to jump up offensively and pinch, and does a good job winning 50-50 pucks and protecting it with her reach. Does the little things right with good risk assessment.

Noa Diop #49 (Chicago Young Americans U14, D, 2025): Makes decisions quickly and can turn a mishandle by her opponent into an opportunity. She quickly turned a loose puck into a scoring chance vs. Mission. This is how Diop set up Dengler, with a quick pass which led to a nice goal. Good playmaking abilities with good upside.

Isabella Cericola #16 (Philadelphia Junior Flyers U14, F, 2024): Isabella does a nice job working off the half-wall or the cycle and getting to the slot for shots. She scored a nice goal against Chicago on a high, accurate wrist shot.

Seina Spadone #97 (Buffalo Bisons U14, D, 2024): Spadone is a mobile defender with an active stick who creates turnovers to transition up ice into the o-zone for a strong net drive and shot on net. Her puck protection and control allow her to manage the blueline well getting pucks deep and to the net with a good slapshot and solid wrister and reading the play to recognize when to drop in as an option. Plays physical, battles hard and shows good support for her partner. 

Callista Printz #8 (Buffalo Bisons U14, D, 2024): Very notable against the strong Chicago Mission. She had good speed and puck control that allowed her to get chances against a strong team where Buffalo had few opportunities. She is willing to skate it up if she can intercept a pass and does well to protect it. Has the ability to create space for herself when she has the puck on her stick. Has good vision and was able to intercept passes against Flyers. Is willing to join the rush when possible and get a good shot off. Printz moves the puck well with her partner and can move the puck up ice quickly with a crisp stretch pass. She battles hard and holds the blueline well.  

Genna Pan #5 (Chicago Mission U14, D, 2024): Pan smoothly skates pucks out of her end, gains the o-zone with speed and gets deep for shots on goal. Good mobility allows her to curl to avoid pressure and stop behind the net to set up and send a crisp first pass to start the breakout or fire a stretch pass to quickly move the play up ice. Plays physical, takes the body and maintains good gap control. 

Maeve McAdams #16 (Chicago Mission U14, F, 2024): Smaller sized player but she is fast and hardworking. She is all over loose pucks. Especially on the penalty kill, does a great job of pressuring up-ice to make life difficult. She’s quick on the rush and shows good edge work to evade defenders.  McAdams has a good net presence, battling and winning rebounds to set up linemates for scoring chances. Patience, puck control and heads up play let her find open linemates to feed a clean pass to move play up ice or set up a scoring chance. Uses good speed to force errors on the forecheck or drive the net hard for shots on goal. 

Vanessa Magsino #27 (Chicago Mission U14, D, 2025): Magsino has a good active stick that she gets in the passing lanes to break plays and intercept passes. Cuts quickly with her head up to avoid pressure and send a solid first pass or hit a breaking linemate for a scoring chance. Good blueline management and crisp passes on the PP. 

Nina Rossi #5 (Philadelphia Junior Flyers U14, F, 2024): Nina is a smaller forward who is very competitive. She makes nice plays on the wall to chip pucks out and keep offensive possession going on the cycle. 

Abby Kauffman #9 (Philadelphia Junior Flyers U14, F, 2024): Abby is a quick forward who competes to get pucks back and as a result, has the puck on her stick a lot. She competes to beat defenders wide and is hard to knock off the puck, allowing her to advance to the net.

Lauren Gallagher #14 (Philadelphia Junior Flyers U14, F, 2024): A quick player down low in the offensive zone who has the ability to turn an attacking player inside out. Has good hands combined with a quick release that allows her to create good scoring chances. 

Nicola Forth #72 (The Hill School, F, 2024): Has good speed and controls the puck well when it is on her stick. Is strong on her skates and hard to push around. Has confidence when the puck is on her stick and can create scoring opportunities. 

Lorelai Nelson #5 (Minnesota Lakers, F, 2025): Small player with fast speed. She handles the puck well on the rush and makes great passes that lead to big offense for MN. 

Ella Konrad #3 (Minnesota Lakers, D, 2025): Keeps good puck control through hard pressure, she also has good edges to stay on her feet as she is pursued. Makes good passes and choices from the offensive blue. Ella jumped up in the play for a key tying goal in the quarterfinal, on a nice, low shot.

Kenleigh Fischer #8 (Team North Dakota U14, F, 2025): Kenleigh is quick on the rush and can beat defenders wide with speed. She has a good, quick shot and uses her skating to create opportunities to shoot.

Hannah Husted #5 (Little Caesars U14, D, 2024): Husted is a solid , physical D who hits the stretch pass and gets pucks deep and to the net. She reads the play well, managing the blueline and getting in the passing lanes to intercept plays. Likes to drop in as an option on the offense. 

Maggie Weiss #91 (Little Caesars U14, D, 2025): Weiss makes accurate passes and has solid net drives for shots on goal. Her battles for the blueline at both ends have good intensity and urgency. 

Elizabeth Sturgeon #10 (Little Caesars U14, D, 2024): Sturgeon is a patient defender who doesn’t over commit and lets the play come to her. She has the speed and physical play to get inside body position on opponents and deny their chances and block. In the o-zone, she gets pucks deep and to the net for scoring chances shots.

Ella Lucia #18 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2024): Lucia is strong and consistent in the faceoff circle every shift, winning the majority of draws with tough battles, tie ups and clean sweeps to gain possession. A smart playmaker, she finds open linemates to feed flat passes to end up in the back of the net. She has four assists vs New Jersey setting up four different players. The speedy forward separated from her checkers to pull away for a breakaway goal vs Hartford. 

Sophie Lacolla #8 (Little Caesars U14, D, 2025): Lacolla is a smooth, heads up skater with good puck control who curls to avoid pressure in the D zone or weaves through the neutral zone to dangle defenders for zone entry and shots on goal. She manages the blueline well on the PP and steps in to get pucks to the net.

Madelyn Slocum #7 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2025): Slocum battles on the backcheck and rushes the point to block shots. She stays on her wing ready to receive a pass or set up a teammate. A regular on the scoresheet, she split the D to pull away and snipe a beauty on a breakaway vs New Jersey. 

Ellie Zakrajsheck #10 (Minnesota Walleye, F, 2024): Ellie scored a nice goal off the rush, gaining the blueline with speed and finishing up high with a nice, quick shot. She has good offensive upside from what we have seen at this tournament, and will be a player to watch as she develops.

Campbell Rucinski #15 (Minnesota Walleye, D, Unknown GY): Campbell did a nice job jumping up to lead a rush, and dishing off to the winger alongside her who had an open lane to the net for a goal. 

Allie Pleimann #18 (Minnesota Walleye, D, 2024): Allie is an aggressive defender who steps up and breaks up plays with her stick and body. She pinches well, and can skate back defensively when she jumps up. 

Hanna Olson #17 (Minnesota Walleye, F, 2025): Olson has speed and is obviously a hardworking player. She is fierce in her pursuit of the puck. Wins draws, and works all over to gain possession. 

Emi Biotti #15 (East Coast Wizards U14, F, 2025): Biotti gets to the middle quickly to start good puck movement on the PP. She can dance and dangle opponents to get space for shots on goal. The young defender has great potential.

Seina Berardinelli #2 (East Coast Wizards U14, F, 2024): Siena showed good footwork and mobility in tight areas in the offensive zone, working off the cycle and half-wall to get free and then made good passes to the points and teammates for shots. Set up a nice goal with a good pad pass vs Hartford. 

Anna Nelson #23 (Team North Dakota U14, F, 2024): Anna is a good-sized forward who is aggressive on the forecheck and is hard to knock off the puck when on the boards and on the cycle. A taller player who uses this to her advantage to escape from pressure. Had a good zone entry and remained in control of the puck that led to the second goal of the game against Hartford.

Isabella King #12 (East Coast Wizards U14, F, 2025): Went to the net and slammed home a nice rebound goal vs Hartford. Showing offensive potential and a strong work ethic.

Peyton Kennedy #4 (East Coast Wizards U14, F, 2024): Peyton is a tall forward who uses her reach and frame well to drive the net. She competes well and wins battles on the forecheck. Passes are on the tape. Kennedy snagged a loose puck in a scramble and snapped it home vs Hartford. 

Hazel Hughes #26 (East Coast Wizards U14, F, 2025): Hazel had a nice play where she won a board battle, used good stickhandling in traffic and brought the puck to a net for a goal in the QF against Minnesota. Solid puck protection when driving the net. 

Jaime Griswold #3 (East Coast Wizards U14, D, 2024): Jaime is a steady defender who is tall and uses her long stick to her advantage to break up plays. Griswold gets pucks deep and to the net.

Ainsley Gray #22 (East Coast Wizards U14, D, 2024): Ainsley showed good mobility walking the offensive blueline and escaping opposing pressure with good feet. She keeps control of the puck with her evasive moves and has good hockey IQ.

Molly Driscoll #10 (East Coast Wizards U14, F, 2024): Driscoll is good on draws and makes accurate passes. She fought off the backchecker and drove the net to slam home a rebound vs Hartford. 

Molly Boyle #17 (East Coast Wizards U14, D, 2024): Molly is a mobile defender who uses her feet to escape from forechecking pressure and makes good passes all over the ice. She got a nice, low shot from the point through a few times. Boyle does a good job keeping pucks in at the blueline to maintain pressure. The defender dances around opponents to gain zone entry for shots on goal.

Sofia Cuozzo #8 (Hartford Jr. Lady Wolfpack U14, D, 2024): Knows when to step in an even man situation. She can take the puck and head up ice. She has strong size and uses it to her advantage. A hardworking skater but can continue to develop her speed to take her to the next level. Good compete level. Stepped up twice vs Caesars to intercept and snag pucks to convert into goals. 

Sydney Courtmanche #10 (Hartford Jr. Lady Wolfpack U14, D, 2024): Slick shorthanded breakaway goal against MN Walleye. She put it up top with purpose showing she has great offensive upside. Courtmanche makes crisp, flat passes and uses her speed effectively to pursue on the forecheck. She continued to show her offensive upside capitalizing on a defensive miscue to snap it top glove for a nice one vs Caesars.

Elle Thoreson #13 (Minnesota Green Giants, D, Unknown GY): Smart, good point shot. Thoreson moves the puck well with her partner, makes a crisp first pass and gets in the shooting lanes to block shots. 

Kendall Rykkeli #17 (Minnesota Green Giants, F, Unknown GY): Rykkeli battles hard and makes accurate passes. She is a simple and hardworking player who impacts the game with her good choices.

Amelia McQuay #3 (Minnesota Green Giants, F, 2025): Took it for a skate, was able to get the shot off before pressure hit. McQuay uses her speed to get back and angle opponents to the boards to be bumped off the puck. Went to the net and tapped in a loose puck off a rebound vs Mission.

Elizabeth Jones #11 (Washington Pride U14, F, 2024): Battles hard on the backcheck. Sent home a loose puck for the lone goal vs CYA. She works 2-ways and is effective at both ends.

Carly Heinz #14 (Washington Pride U14, F, 2024): Good puck control and can carry it out of the zone. She has average speed that will continue to improve as she grows, and so will her shot strength. 

Anika Berry #3 (Washington Pride U14, F, 2025): Gets after it along the boards. Ready to dig and get physical. Was successful in a battle against strong opponents. Takes a good angle and can rub out opponents with speed and without taking a penalty. Has a great physical aspect to her game. 

Meena Al-Kadiri #17 (Washington Pride U14, F, 2025): Good physical play riding opponents off the puck. Has awareness of her opponents positioning to allow her to angle effectively.

Mari Wolkstein #9 (Chicago Young Americans U14, D, 2024): Wolkstein blocks shots and moves the puck well with her partner. Good defensive minded defender who makes smart choices.

Addison Stewart #17 (Chicago Young Americans U14, F, 2026): Stewart battles hard and makes accurate passes. Dug out the puck behind the net on the PP to wrap around for a goal vs Washington. 

Maille Pereiro #57 (Chicago Young Americans U14, D, 2025): Steady stay at home D who gets pucks to the net. Takes care of her own end and makes safe choices at the point, but is not afraid to shoot.

Brigidelle Ori #51 (Chicago Young Americans U14, F, Unknown GY): Ori has a good net presence snagging a loose puck in the crease to tap home for a goal vs Washington. Plays heads-up and navigates the o-zone well.

Kenedi Mrozik #66 (Chicago Young Americans U14, D, Unknown GY): Mrozik plays safe and simple, manages the blueline well and gets pucks to the net. Plays a smart, accurate game.

Siena Kropp #12 (Chicago Young Americans U14, D, 2025): Kropp uses her stops and starts to avoid pressure and elude opponents. The defender has size and moves the puck well with her partner and hits linemats on the tape to move the play up ice. She steps up to break plays, battles hard with an active stick and gets pucks to the net. 

Amelia Ewing #40 (Chicago Young Americans U14, F, 2025): Ewing handles the puck with speed and gets in on the forecheck to force errors. 

Audrey Dengler #84 (Chicago Young Americans U14, F, 2024): Quick release in the slot, can get it through traffic to the net. Dengler gets good body position on the forecheck and backcheck to bump players off the puck. She is strong on the draw and sees the ice well. Slid in a rebound for a powerplay marker vs Washington.

Julia Carrigan #8 (Chicago Young Americans U14, F, 2026): Carrigan makes crisp, flat accurate passes. Keeps her head up to find good options and has the skill set to complete passes with good timing. 

Lily Bowman #87 (Chicago Young Americans U14, F, 2026): Bowman has quick hands and feet, makes accurate passes and hustles hard on the backcheck. As a 2026, we see good potential for Bowman.

Sanya Arora #7 (Chicago Young Americans U14, F, 2025): Very small player but she is fast with good puck skills. Drives down the wing untouched against strong opponents. Does get knocked around a bit, but as she grows and gets stronger, her offensive capabilities will only increase. 

Ava Valencia #26 (Chicago Mission U14, D, 2025): Valencia battles hard, moves the puck well with her partner, makes accurate passes and gets pucks deep. 

Olivia Kumiega #21 (Chicago Mission U14, D, 2025): Olivia Kumiega #21 (Mission, D, 2025): Kumiega stops behind the net to set up and regroup. She battles along the wall to gain zone entry. 

Sadie Klein #11 (Chicago Mission U14, F, 2025): Klein gets in on the forecheck to battle hard below the redline. She shields the puck to go deep in the o zone for shots on net. Battles hard on the draw. 

Nicole Gorbatenko #79 (Chicago Mission U14, F, 2025): Gorbatenko scored a backhand rebound goal vs. CYA in quarters. Able to puck pucks on net and transition quickly. She disrupts her opponent’s breakout and turns it into a shot for Mission. Gorbatenko has the speed to separate from the opposition to win critical puck races. She plays physical, battles hard and blocks shots. Contributed on both goals in the championship game. 

Kiersten Smith #4 (Buffalo Bisons U14, F, 2025): A good feisty player who can create scoring chances. A young player who has a lot of potential. Smith is tenacious on the forecheck, battling hard and stripping pucks from opponents to take to the net for shots on goal. She shows good control and puck handling, receiving a pass in her feet and moving it up to her stick for a net drive and shot on goal. Good support up front and D support below the redline. The forward gets in the shooting lanes to rush the point and force errors on the PK. She is strong on the draw and has good hockey sense. 

Alexia Seider #87 (Buffalo Bisons U14, F, 2024): Seider attacks on the forecheck with speed to force errors. She has a good net presence, quickly grabbing loose pucks and rebounds to create scoring chances. 

Calleigh Nowak #32 (Buffalo Bisons U14, G, 2024): An average height goalie who was able to cover much of the net. She was very successful in a scramble/ desperation mode. As she grows, her technique will develop which will allow her to be in better position. She was able to make a lot of stops against the tough opponent, Chicago Mission. 

Tessa Morris #23 (Buffalo Bisons U14, F, 2024): Morris weaves around the opposition with the puck to gain the zone and drive the net for shots on goal. Good intensity on the forecheck. 

Lauren Mack #4 (Minnesota Lakers, F, 2024): Mack is a smooth skater with good speed. Her puck handling skills and skating allow Mack to get regular zone entries. 

Charlotte Geer #11 (NJ Colonials U14, F, 2025): Greer uses her speed effectively to drive the net and bang home rebounds. Jammed in her own rebound vs Caesars. 

Elle Perry #26 (NJ Colonials U14, F, 2024): Perry gets in the shooting lanes to block shots and has an active stick to create turnovers. 

Cecile Gibb #17 (NJ Colonials U14, D, 2025): Gibb plays physical, battles hard and holds the blueline well. A strong hard working defender at both ends.

Reese Ward #26 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2025): Ward plays physical and patrols her wing. She has good protection on net drives for shots on goal.

Adreanna Stamper #3 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2024): Stamper is a solid two way player who feeds her linemates crisp passes, uses speed and good puck control to drive the lane and dangle the D to get shots on goal, provides good support for her teammates. 

Julia McIvor #18 (Team North Dakota U14, D, 2026): Julia scored a nice goal against the East Coast Wizards where she rushed the puck with speed and finished with a nice, high wrist shot. 

Avery Hovland #4 (Team North Dakota U14, F, Unknown GY): Avery scored a goal on a seeing-eye shot from the high slot. Has a wide reach that allows her to get the puck wide on moves. Good speed through the neutral zone and looks to headman the puck. 

Lilly Place #17 (Team Colorado U14, F, 2026): Uses body well to shield from pressure. An offensive minded player who looks to change directions quickly down low and make plays to the front of the net for chances. Has a good physical component in her game. battling hard in all situations from the faceoff dot to along the boards and in the corners.

Evelyn Latka #14 (Team Colorado U14, F, 2024): A player who is always applying pressure in all three zones. Has quick feet that forces players to turn the puck over. Had a strong game against NJ. Was an active player who had flashy plays throughout the game. 

Suvina Heidt #77 (Team Colorado U14, D, 2024): Heidt is a heads up defender with good puck control who weaves around opponents to gain the o zone and get pucks deep. 

Allie Emineth #14 (Team North Dakota U14, D, 2024): Allie did a nice job working the top of the umbrella on the powerplay, walking the line well and making good puck decisions. Allie did well on multiple occasions on the penalty kill, coming up with big blocks. Is able to remain poised with the puck under pressure and get it out of the defensive zone. 

Ella Nannene #14 (East Coast Wizards U14, F, 2025): Battles hard and picks up the open player on the backcheck. Good work ethic with strong defensive instincts.

Mia Montanari #15 (Hartford Jr. Lady Wolfpack U14, F, 2024): Strong player. She can knock others off the puck in a clean way and take the puck. Solid effort and skill set. Has the ability to turn defenders inside out when attacking. 

Caroline Justicz #59 (Hartford Jr. Lady Wolfpack U14, D, 2025): Played physical and scored with a wrist shot from the point vs East Coast Wizards. 

Madeline Diglio #23 (Hartford Jr. Lady Wolfpack U14, D, 2024): Diglio makes a crisp first pass and holds the blueline well. She reads the play well and gets back in the passing lanes to break plays.

Jolee Savoy #19 (LA Lions, G, 2024): Savoy faces a lot of shots. She tracks the puck well, is quick post to post and finds pucks in scrambles. 

Audrey Kawasaki #18 (LA Lions, D, Unknown GY): Kawasaki plays physical and holds the blueline well. Makes smart defensive decisions.

Lincoln Brown #5 (LA Lions, F, 2025): Brown is a feisty center who battles hard in the faceoff circle. She combines physical play with aggressive stick checks to win pucks and bury one. 

Lily Andreassi #4 (LA Lions, D, 2025): Andreassi uses her size and long reach to create turnovers with good stick checks. She gets pucks to the net and wins faceoff battles. A strong base and good puck protection make it hard to knock her off the puck. 

Alana Bouthillette #44 (Team Colorado U14, D, 2024): Ripped a howitzer to light the lamp vs Caesars. Bouthillette plays physical and does a good job taking the body. She takes a good angle at the play and is successful squeezing opponents off the puck.
