Michal is a Czech center that stands 6’1’’ and 187 pounds. He is a left-shot and a late 2002 birthdate. He played this past season for HC Sparta Praha U20 in the Czech League where he scored 11 points (seven goals) in 11 games. He also is not a stranger to North America as he played for the South Florida Hockey Academy U16 in 2017-2018. He is an athletic forward that gets up and down the ice well. He plays fast through the middle of the ice and is effective on zone entries. He is skilled and patient with the puck on his stick and makes smart and skilled plays in space. He plays an honest game in his own zone and stays on the right side of the puck. He finds soft areas in the offensive zone and will dart in-and-out of coverage. He has a smooth catch and release and snaps pucks to the net. He will need to get quicker and improve his lateral mobility as he gets older. He is consistent and plays a solid up-and- down game and gets pucks to the net.
