WC Swans Gold
74 looks where she wants to pass without giving any hints to the opposition. She is a good skater who makes plays on the point to her teammates instead of just dumping it in deep for the forwards to deal with. She is focused and engaged, makes smart plays with the puck to ensure solid puck management. Grade: B
73 is always moving and getting to an area where she can get open. She is selfless and will make an extra pass for an easier shot even if she has a lane to the net. She makes good tape-to-tape passes and will playmake if that is the right play to make. She also works extremely hard and puts a lot of effort into each shift. Grade: B
93 plays with a lot of bite and jam. She is a real pain to play against which we noticed immediately. She competes all over the ice and expresses zero quit to her game. She also does the little things well and will win her board battles. Grade: B
Kate Tarr #8 (Lawrence Academy, F) : Tarr is a pest in the offensive zone and she seems like she really hates when the puck is not in the attacking side of the ice which is a great trait to have. She pressures the opposing defense with good stick lifts and uses her body to get the opposition uncomfortable with the puck. Grade: B
Addison Gray #87 (Rice Memorial High School, F/D, 2027) : Gray is so poised on the point and really looks to see what she has in front of her to make a good play with the puck. She is always moving looking for lanes to open up and make herself an option off the puck. Grade: B
Courtney Shifrin #19 (Lawrence Academy, F, 2027) : Shifrin wants to score and have the puck on her stick. She gets pucks on net from a lot of different angles but is not afraid to come into the middle of the ice. You could also find her sniffing around the front of the net looking for rebounds and creating traffic. She also fights for pucks and is a gamer on the ice. Grade: B-
Ryleigh McNelly #88 (D, 2026) : McNelly gets shots on net. She keeps her head up and knows to put it low so her forwards can get a tip or rebound off of her shots. She finds passing and shooting lanes with her vision and ability to move around the blue line. Grade: B-
Team One 08
Piper Y. makes timely saves and was very clutch in net keeping her team in games much longer than they should. She is a no-nonsense goalie which we view as a stable and calm in her crease and not overly flashy and cocky. She tracks pucks from distance well and stays focused on the play even when the puck is moving quickly. She also moves well side to side and gives the opposition very little to aim for. Grade: B-
Adelaide S. picks up speed in open ice and makes herself a passing option. She is a taller and strong forward who handles the puck well and can get it to a shooting area. She has a good shot and will make the goalie make a good save against her. Grade: B-
Lady Whalers 16s
Gabriella Cerqua #14 (Tilton, F) : Cerqua is a good two-way forward who does her job in the offensive and defensive zone. She is an aware back checker who does not just get back but she will pick up a player and get a stick to neutralize them from being a threat. In the offensive side of the game she is a good skater who is smooth up the ice with her puck control. She will get to the front of the net and is always moving to assist in chasing down pucks. Grade: B+
Elizabeth Callahan #3 (Mound Westonka, F, 2026) : Callahan is a taller defenseman who puts hard low shots on net through the screen and into the correct lanes. She also wants to create rebounds and give her forwards something to get to. She can handle a strong pace of play and makes quick smart decisions with the puck putting it into a good position to avoid a turnover. Grade: B+
Haven Mills #20 (Dallas Stars Elite U16, D, 2026) : Mills gives solid tape to tape passes to her team and is quite the asset on the breakout. In transition in the neutral zone she is quick and efficient to get pucks to the sides and get her team in on the attack. She wants to play fast and keep the opposition on their heels. She matches all that with quick feet and skating to be a great puck moving option for her team. Grade: B+
Natalie Woo #61 (Culver Academy, F, 2026) : Woo is an unselfish player who moves the puck to her teammates to open up the playing surface. In tight areas she can get the puck to linemates and up the pace of play. Her offensive creativity with the puck is fun to watch and sets up goals with her passes. She is also always moving which we liked to see because she has good raw talent with her feet and hands. Grade: B
Bella Viskovicz #63 (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers U16, F, 2026) : Viskovicz is strong and a battler along the boards. She will engage herself in scrums and assist nicely with winning board play. She is a good skater who finds skating lanes and can get up the ice nicely. She also fights for pucks in space and wants to win possession when she is in a dangerous area to get pucks towards the cage. Grade: B

She makes good decisions with the puck and gives it to players who are truly open. She is a pass first defender which is great on the breakout. Grade: B
86 is always winning her battles and doing what you need to do to have possession of the puck in the opposition’s end. She is also very aware on the defensive side of the puck and uses her stick to get in lanes and close gaps for the opponent. She will compete and also make life very difficult for the other team. Grade: B-
Lily Bromley #66 (Nobles, F, 2027) : Bromley forechecks hard and delivers zero quit when she is on the ice. A true competitor who brings it each shift. She engages in battles along the boards and wants to get pucks on net to create scoring opportunities. Grade: B-
Mole HC
6 is a forward who is good with the puck and has a high motor that lets her move around the ice with great pace each shift and for the whole shift length. She also makes herself an option and is constantly moving and wanting the puck in her hands. Grade: B-
