Every September, Stoney Creek, ON hosts 3 of the mostly highly scouted events of the season. From September 22nd-24th, the U15 division teams from across Canada and the United States take the ice to compete. The following is our scouting report form the U15 weekend. Players are listed in descending letter grade order beneath their team name. Players will the same letter grade are in no particular order.

Anaheim Lady Ducks 14U
Cadence Liu #48 (Anaheim Lady Ducks U14, F, 2027) : Liu is a speedy forward that creates her own chances by leaving her zone to find the soft ice and yelling for the puck. This awareness of when to jump on the ice gave her two breakaways that she was unfortunately unable to capitalize on, but nonetheless, created good scoring opportunities. Lu plays with passion and pace, demanding the puck from her linemates by letting them know she is open. She can get behind defenders easily and use her speed to generate offense. Grade: B
Sera Pittis #9 (Anaheim Lady Ducks U14, F, 2028) : Pittis competes in all 3 zones, ensuring she backchecks equally as hard as she forechecks. She helps her team by winning loose puck battles and driving the net hard during 2-on-1s and 3-on-2s. Grade: B-
Keira Lieu #11 (Anaheim Lady Ducks U14, D, 2027) : Lieu is a rushing defender who uses her agile skating to create offense. She also makes smart defensive zone plays by using her wingers as options, and sending them with a good first pass out of the zone. She can also individually skate the puck out of trouble when opposing team pressure is applied to her. Grade: B-
Lily Kovis #19 (Anaheim Lady Ducks U14, D, 2029) : Kovis is able to maintain good gaps with opposing forwards and challenge them when they come down 1-on-1 against her. She maintains an active stick and ties up players well. Grade: B-
Aubrey Lee #64 (Anaheim Lady Ducks U14, F, 2029) : Lee is a 200-foot player who backchecks hard, while being a good worker in all 3 zones of the ice. She digs at the puck with tenacity in the corners, and it helps her generate offense when she wins those puck battles. She passes well in the neutral zone as well. Grade: B-
Taryn Montgomery #88 (Anaheim Lady Ducks U14, D, 2028) : Montgomery is a strong D that takes options away from the opposition as she places herself in their passing and shooting lanes. She works hard in front of her own net to clear the other team, but frequently gets too tied up. Grade: C+
Ancaster U15AA
Emma Howarth #9 (Ancaster Avalanche U15AA, F, 2028) : Howarth is a playmaker who makes great passes to the middle of the ice. She possesses great poise and patience with the puck, as she is able to manipulate defenders effectively by using her speed and smarts. Grade: B-
Avery Muraca #10 (Ancaster Avalanche U15AA, D, 2028) : Muraca is an agile defender with good skating capabilities. She is calm with the puck and does not rush her decisions. She performs good D-to-D passes to relieve offensive pressure, and skates well backwards. Grade: B-
Emma Kindree #15 (Ancaster Avalanche U15AA, D, 2028) : Kindree is a good offensive player with a good, quick release. She is not afraid to engage physically, as she works hard in the corners to frequently win her 50/50 puck battles. She blocks shots and gets in shooting lanes to reduce the shots allowing her team to give up. Grade: B-
Victoria Sharp #91 (Ancaster Avalanche U15AA, F, 2027) : Sharp gets many shots on goal and throws everything at the net, while also playing strong positional play in the defensive zone. She is a very hard worker and competes down low to win her battles. She is good with wrap arounds and shots in-tight around the slot areas. Grade: B-
Barrie U15AA
Arianna Pellarin #10 (Barrie Sharks U15AA, F, 2028) : Pellarin makes great “seeing-eye” passes that connect through skates, sticks and high-traffic areas. Which shows her exemplifying high hockey IQ. She can break the puck out of the zone solely through her skating or by advancing the puck forward. Grade: B+
Samantha Larmand #17 (Barrie Sharks U15AA, F, 2027) : Larmand is able to score goals off the rush and off the cycle in the offensive zone. She consistently works hard in all areas of the ice, and ensures a high compete level during each and every shift. She has the ability to frequently win 50/50 puck battles, and come up with the puck in the corners. Grade: B
Daelia Coutts #12 (Barrie Sharks U15AA, D, 2028) : Coutts is a physical defender who keeps forwards out of high-danger scoring areas. She has an active stick that can cut off passing plays, and is frequently in good position, whether it would be during 5-on-5 play, or short-handed PK situations. Grade: B-
Gabrielle Willard #15 (Barrie Sharks U15AA, D, 2028) : Willard has great body positioning in the D zone and is able to keep opposing forwards to the outside/perimeter. Through good skating and agile angling ability, she forces attackers to cough up the puck and make mistakes from her applied pressure. Grade: B-
Olivia Lehti #16 (Barrie Sharks U15AA, F, 2027) : Lehti is a relentless forechecker who forces turnovers. Her quick skating makes her an effective energy player for her team, and a good penalty killer. Her complete, 200-foot game makes her a reliable forward in all areas of the ice. Grade: B-
Amber Nazir #29 (Barrie Sharks U15AA, F, 2028) : Nazir makes great area passes that allow her teammates to skate into them with speed and momentum. She can find her teammates in optimal areas to create breakaways and odd-man rushes such as 2-1 and 3-1. Grade: B-
Belle Tire 14U
Michelle Dinning #61 (Belle Tire U14, G, 2027) : Dinning is technically sound between the pipes and is always square to the puck. She is able to move quickly from side-to-side, and sprawl out to make great desperation saves. She keeps her team in the game and stands tall at pivotal moments, giving her team momentum. Dinning challenges top-of-crease and says square with the play. She battles physically through traffic and holds rebounds. When the opportunity arises Dinning passes the puck up to her teammates. Grade: B
Katie Carlson #11 (Belle Tire U14, F, 2027) : Carlson is a feisty player who works relentlessly to get inside positioning and to the middle of the ice. She often draws penalties due to her tenacity on the forecheck, and making opposing players commit poor decisions with and without the puck. Her high compete level is contagious for her linemates, and it helps raise their game. Grade: B-
Gabriella Paolucci #12 (Belle Tire U14, D, 2027) : Paolucci moves to find good shooting lanes and consistently gets low point shots on. She picks her head up to better find a shooting area which is a good skill to have. Grade: B-
Julia Rogers #18 (Belle Tire U14, D, 2028) : Rodgers is a strong defender who is good at angling off opposing forwards into the corners and the perimeter of the ice. She boxes players out well on the PK, and is often not afraid to engage in the dirty areas of the ice. She works hard and plays at a high compete level. Grade: B-
Megan Churchill #21 (Belle Tire U14, F, 2027) : Churchill is a smart forward who is aware of her surroundings. More than once, she would be the forward covering her defense on a rush, and if the puck came to her, she made the safe play knowing that she was not in her natural position. Grade: B-
Julia Timko #26 (Belle Tire U14, D, 2028) : Timko is a dynamic defense on the blue line who knows when to pinch or back off, and can create great scoring chances with her low point shots. Which can also open up rebounds. Grade: B-
Ally Orlick #91 (Belle Tire U14, F, 2027) : Orlick is a strong forward who took the defense wide on a 2 on 1, which opened up the middle for a slot pass to her teammate, giving her a well-deserved assist. Orlick plays at a good tempo and looks to make plays into the slot for scoring chances. She is effective at taking defenders wide, and cutting into the crease. Orlick controls the puck well, she jumps into the play and carries pucks deep and drives the net for scoring chances. She scored on a forechecking turn-over, walked out of the corner and sniped the top corner. Grade: B-
Katherine Ricci #23 (Belle Tire U14, D, 2028) : Ricci makes tape-to-tape outlet passes and gets pucks on net with hard low shots. The way she uses her teammates and can get shots makes her a true threat on the blue line. Grade: C+
Belleville U15AA
Jocelyn Osborn #12 (Belleville Bearcats U15 AA, F, 2028) : Osborn’s relentless work ethic and unwavering commitment to each shift set her apart on the ice. She excels in the faceoff circle, consistently winning draws cleanly to initiate plays with possession. Osborn’s opportunistic steal in the neutral zone showcased her speed and ability to create breakaway opportunities. Her exceptional awareness and keen understanding of the game are evident in her play. She possesses a strong sense of where everyone is positioned and capitalizes on openings to make effective plays, particularly when driving to the net. Osborn also showcases strong defensive capabilities. Her backchecking pressure often frustrates opponents. She combines her hockey sense with tenacity, battling hard below the redline to gain control and make things happen. Osborn’s poise, vision, and determination make her a highly valuable asset in any game situation. Grade: B
Averie Cole #9 (Belleville Bearcats U15 AA, F, 2028) : Cole uses her speed to her advantage to create opportunities. She stole the puck in the neutral zone and separated from the pack for a breakaway chance. Defensively, she blocked a shot and took off with the puck to gain the zone and drive the net on the PK. Grade: B-
Kalysia McCoy #19 (Belleville Bearcats U15 AA, D, 2027) : Mccoy plays physically and battles hard, especially in front of the net. Her net front positioning denies many opposition chances. She gets in the shooting lanes and blocks shots. Grade: C+
Bluewater U15AA
Jamie Ryall #3 (Bluewater Hawks U18 AA, F, 2027) : Ryall has soft hands to cradle passes comfortably and create opportunities. She drove the net hard and received a pass in flight to tap on goal. She corralled a pass in front to shovel home a one-timer to light the lamp. Her speed allows her to get open for chances. The forward applies pressure on the backcheck with her active stick. Defensively, she gets into position to provide good coverage and support. Grade: B-
Skylar Doxtator #55 (Bluewater Hawks U18 AA, D, 2027) : Doxtator gets pucks to the net for opportunities in a variety of ways. She crushes slap shots and rips wristers from the point, drops in to snipe snaps, and grabs loose pucks off her pinch for shots on goal. Her passes are crisp and on the tape. Doxtator is calm under pressure as she curls to regroup with her partner and exit the zone. Grade: B-
Brampton U15AA
Piper Sebben #11 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, D, 2027) : Sebben is excellent at reading the play in the offensive zone allowing her to intercept passes on the blue line, keeping her team on the attack. Sebben is a great defensive player that backchecks hard after she jumps into the offensive rush, showing commitment to both sides of the puck on a shift-to-shift basis. Grade: B
Eden Connelly #8 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, F, 2027) : Connelly is a smart player, who opts for the safe plays in her own zone and takes care of her end before jumping to offense. She is the first one on the backcheck with her long, powerful strides and she communicates well with her defense on who she is taking. Grade: B-
Mya Rinaldo #9 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, F, 2027) : Rinaldo blocks shots from opposing players fearlessly and plays with a competitive, hard-working edge. She is willing to sacrifice her body for the interest of the team, evidently showing her high-compete level on both sides of the puck. She is a reliable forward who plays with a defensive-minded mentality. Grade: B-
Jordyn Kogon #12 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, F, 2027) : Kogon is a playmaking forward who works hard in all areas of the ice. She is able to get to the inside of the ice and avoid getting boxed out by opposing defenders. She plays with a high hockey IQ and smarts around the net, always looking to make an unselfish passing play to her linemates. Grade: B-
Sarah Grozdanovski #17 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, D, 2027) : Grozdanovski demonstrated how to fake someone out on the blue line, and rip a hard, low shot on net creating a scoring opportunity with her rebound. Grade: B-
Ryleigh Charlton #18 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, F, 2027) : Charlton can both score and keep the puck out of her net. She is able to hang around the net and make good use of her quick hands in tight by jamming in goals around the crease. She additionally can be relied upon to defend a goal while leading late in the game. Grade: B-
Charlotte Oke #22 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, D, 2027) : Oke does a great job at angling players into the boards by specifically taking away their hands and putting her body in front of theirs, giving her support an opportunity to help recover the puck. Oke is a very quick player that is able to break the puck out of her zone simply through her skating ability or through good passing up to the forwards on Brampton. She plays great D in the D-zone through strong positioning and is able to angle off attacking forwards while keeping them to the outside. Grade: B-
Jamie Nerlich #24 (Brampton Canadettes U18 AA, D, 2027) : Nerlich makes good breakout passes that advance the puck forward for Brampton, as she plays “heads-up hockey” every shift that she is on the ice. She allows her team to play a quick transition game by having a high hockey IQ and passing ability, while always being unselfish. Grade: B-
|Lauren^O’Toole^#77| : O’Toole likes to play a physical game, never taking it easy on anyone, especially whoever she is facing on the draws. O’Toole is a good power play option as well, as she can find open players through open seams, through sticks, skates and in high traffic. Her hockey sense is clearly displayed on a consistent basis. Grade: B-
Megan Poshni #96 (Brampton Canadettes BAA, F, 2027) : Poshni can receive bad passes with ease (even on the backhand and in awkward skating positions), which is a difficult skill at this age. She has great hands and skill in all 3 zones, as she can use her hockey sense and speed to get to the middle of the ice for chances. Grade: B-
Burlington U15AA
Tess Gates #91 (Burlington Barracudas U18 AA, D, 2028) : Tess is a strong offensive player who also plays a reliable defensive game. She is able to play a 200-foot game, while also being an offensive threat on a shift-to-shift basis. She is depended upon to produce on a lower-scoring Burlington team. Grade: B-
Emery Butler #11 (Burlington Barracudas U18 AA, D, 2028) : Butler plays hard and keeps attackers to the outside. She possesses an active stick and competes hard in the corners, being a physical player to play against. She is also able to connect with her teammates by sending tape-to-tape passes out of the D-zone, helping her Burlington team transition to offense. Grade: C+
Caledon U15AA
Annabelle Martin #1 (Caledon U18 AA, G, 2027) : Her agility allows her to handle deflections and redirections, recover quickly, and face rebound attempts. She uses her paddle to stop the backdoor pass. She tracks pucks and gets out to the top of the crease to square up and challenge shooters. Grade: B
Hillary Ing #11 (Caledon U18 AA, F, 2027) : Ing is a puck hound, providing lots of pressure on the puck. We loved watching her give her very best each and every shift. Grade: B-
Evelyn Papadopoulos #14 (Caledon U18 AA, F, 2027) : Papadopoulos controls the gap and stands players up at the top of the circles. We noticed her defensive game the most and her one on one game was what she thrived on most. Grade: B-
Olivia Giuliani #17 (Caledon U18 AA, D, 2027) : Giuliani ripped a wicked wrist shot bar down to score the shoot-out winner against Team Illinois. We like how she stepped up to the plate to get her team the win. Grade: B-
Michaela Santacruz #19 (Caledon U18 AA, F, 2028) : Santacruz made a sick deke and outwaited the tendy to send one to the back of the net for a sweet shootout goal against Team Illinois. Santacruz drove the net along the goal line, looking to snipe, just missing the target. Grade: B-
Rachel Laplante #33 (Caledon U18 AA, F, 2027) : Laplante wins foot races to the puck. She drives the net with that same speed and has good shot placement on her attack. She forced a huge save with a well-placed under-the-blocker shot on the rush and scored a big goal in the dying seconds of the game with a 5-hole goal from an odd angle. Grade: B-
Ava Chapman #44 (Caledon U18 AA, D, 2027) : A.Chapman closes the gap and stands up attackers at the blue line. Grade: B-
Lauren Condie #77 (Caledon U18 AA, F, 2027) : Condie dangled and deked the goalie to slide one through the five-hole to pot a sweet shootout goal against Team Illinois. Grade: B-
Charlotte Holden #92 (Caledon U18 AA, F, 2027) : Holden has strong puck skills to keep possession while under pressure and driving. She takes the puck to the net, driving the wide lane or dangling through opponents. She scored with a quickly released shot from the hash marks under the bar. Grade: B-
Lahna DeLaronde #9 (Caledon U18 AA, D, 2027) : DeLaronde pulls pucks off the boards and gets point shots on. Her board play to win puck battles is what shined to us the most. Grade: C+
|Emelia^De^Melis^#16| : DeMelis works her spacing with her partner to hold the attack at the top of the circles. She is also a good teammate who works well with her partner in general which takes pressure off her teammates. Grade: C+
Alyssa Glass #55 (Caledon U18 AA, G, 2027) : Glass is a tall tender who stands tall in the net. She has a good glove and is covered in scrambles. Grade: C+
Madelyn Chapman #71 (Caledon U18 AA, F, 2028) : Chapman plays both ends of the ice and provides great back pressure for her defenders. She is also a work horse who back checks and forechecks well. Grade: C+
Cambridge U15AA
Abby Patorius #1 (Cambridge Roadrunners U15 AA, G, 2027) : Patorius is square to the puck and very mobile. She challenges shooters every time she comes out to the top of the crease, and she cuts down their shooting angles well. Grade: B
Sophia Mella #3 (Cambridge Roadrunners U15 AA, D, 2028) : Mella shows an awareness of the ice as she steps around opponents to intercept passes. She moves the uck smoothly with her partner along the blue line, moves to the shooting lanes and steps around pressure to get off hard low point shots. Grade: B
Serena Hasen #9 (Cambridge Roadrunners U15 AA, F, 2027) : Hasen is a point-producing player who is in and around the net frequently. She makes great breakout passes and gets many offensive zone entries on a shift-to-shift basis. Grade: B
Skylar Macey #14 (Cambridge Roadrunners U15 AA, F, 2027) : Macey is an offensive-minded player who can find the soft areas of the high slot to get shots off quickly. She possesses great skating ability to get open for her teammates and looks to snipe from the hash marks when she gets the opportunity. She plays a good give and go game, and likes to cycle the puck back for her teammates to maintain maximum puck possession time. Macey takes advantage of the space she is given, driving the wing and walking out the seams to get shots on net. Grade: B
Chloe Rison #29 (Cambridge Roadrunners U15 AA, G, 2027) : Rison has an active glove, scooping up low shots to control the pace of the game. She has a tight post seal and gets out to tight shots. When the opportunity arises Rison gets out to play the puck. Grade: B
Megan Graham #68 (Cambridge Roadrunners U15 AA, F, 2027) : Graham is a smart player who works very hard. She can set up her teammates well and she knows how to maintain puck possession down low by using her body. She places the puck in optimal areas around her body, ensuring it is protected from oncoming opposing attackers. Graham had the scoring touch this game. Sliding into the back door position and hammering one home. Off the face-off she was ready for attack, beating her check and stepping into the circle to fire one from the face-off dot. Grade: B
Sophie Beaulieu-Curry #2 (Cambridge Roadrunners U15 AA, D, 2028) : Beaulieu-Curry plays with her head up, making tap-to-tape outlet passes in the D-zone and gets to the shot lane getting pucks to the net in the O-Zone. Grade: B-
Lylah Cummings #26 (Cambridge Roadrunners U15 AA, D, 2027) : Cummings makes great defensive zone plays, frequently being seen breaking up passes, intercepting odd-man rushes and always is in a good position. She makes good angling plays, and can cut off attackers along the perimeter wall, ensuring they are not a threat to score. She takes care of her own net, being a “stay-at-home” defender. Cummings is not afraid to jump into the offense, she carried pucks deep when the lane opened and dropped into the high slot scoring a catch and release goal. Her outlet passes are accurate and well-timed for a smooth exit of the zone. Grade: B-
Myla Macey #41 (Cambridge Roadrunners U15 AA, D, 2027) : Macey makes a good first pass out of the zone, as she is poised with the puck while even being under pressure to make quick decisions. She is able to find the open players by keeping her head up, and always being aware of her surroundings. Given this, her hockey IQ is at a high-level. Grade: B-
Jayda Houben #77 (Cambridge Roadrunners U15 AA, F, 2027) : Houben plays a little crash-and-bang hockey, repeatedly going to the net, creating havoc in front of the net and being a playmaker from behind with tape-to-tape passes to the half boards and into the slot. Grade: B-
Lauren Stiles #97 (Cambridge Roadrunners U15 AA, F, 2027) : Stiles can escape through high-traffic areas with the puck, showing great puck control, puck protection and relentlessness to get shots off. She is committed to both sides of the puck, and does not cheat to get chances. Her offensive play comes naturally because she is always on the right side of the puck, making her a consistent passing option for her teammates. Stiles has a snipe of a shot and drives the zone to find those shot lanes to make it count. She opens up for 1-timers in the slot, creates traffic in front and pushes off the defender to give herself shot space. On the rush, she put one over the goaltender’s shoulder and under the bar. Grade: B-
Central York U15AA
Brynn Cull #34 (Central York Panthers U15AA, F, 2028) : Cull is a skilled and smart forward who is able to keep puck possession comparatively longer than her peers. Her poise with the puck is evident, reflecting her confidence to make plays and set both herself and her teammates up for scoring chances. Cull sees the ice well, she has the skill and vision to generate offensive opportunities or hold possession for her team in the offensive zone for long periods of time. Grade: B
Fiona Marley #11 (Central York Panthers U15AA, D, 2027) : Marley is able to break the puck out of her zone simply through her strong skating and awareness in her own zone. She is a reliable D who is rarely caught out of position while being dependent on her quick skating. Marley is a solid skater and makes smart plays to get the puck up ice quickly. Grade: B-
Piper Crump #14 (Central York Panthers U15AA, F, 2027) : Crump is a high-level competitor who works extremely hard down low and battles. She is a relentless forechecker that forces turnovers, which consequently creates offensive chances for her team. Crump is a gritty player who plays with high compete in all areas of the ice. She uses her speed and is aggressive on the forecheck to cause turnovers and generate offensive opportunities. Grade: B-
Shyla Gamble #17 (Central York Panthers U15AA, F, 2027) : Gamble is a great, smooth skater who can get the puck out of trouble simply through her strong skating ability. The left-handed forward can fly up and down the ice, while exemplifying a high competitive level along the walls and in corners. Her high effort on the forecheck helps force turnovers, as she consequently creates scoring opportunities this way. Gamble uses her speed to find her way through traffic and forecheck to generate turnovers she can capitalize on to create offense. Grade: B-
Summer Neal #18 (Central York Panthers U15AA, D, 2028) : Neal shows a great ability to get shots through from the point and even scored this way multiple times. She can be deceptive while on the blue line, and she makes it tough for forwards to contain her while “walking the line”. The left-handed D additionally shows patience and poise while being the last one back. Neal sees the ice well, in which she takes hard, smart shots from the blueline or can make her opponent look silly from up there too. She is patient with the puck and waits for the right time to use her shot and generate offensive opportunities. Grade: B-
Mackenzie Stewart #26 (Central York Panthers U15AA, F, 2027) : Stewart displays strong passing ability on a consistent basis through seeing-eye breakout passes and offensive zone area passes. She makes quick decisions with the puck, which helps her team play at a quick pace. While playing with a pass-first mindset, she advances her teammates forward by always passing the puck up the ice. She additionally shows a high competitive level while battling along the walls and below the hash marks. Grade: B-
Elena Feng #28 (Central York Panthers U15AA, F, 2028) : Feng is a good skater who uses quick crossovers to gain speed with and without the puck. She takes the puck wide on frequent zone entries, and cuts in fearlessly towards the net. Along with other forwards on her team, her hard-working forechecking ability causes problems for opposing defenders and helps force turnovers. Grade: B-
Lauren Pham #79 (Central York Panthers U15AA, D, 2028) : Pham is a reliable defender who is able to break the puck out through her individual skating ability, or through making a strong first pass to her wingers along the half-wall. She competes hard down low, and gives it her all on every shift on a consistent basis. Pham can also walk-the-blue-line very well and swiftly on the powerplay, using her smooth edge work and cross-over abilities. Grade: B-
Chicago Mission 14U
Kayleigh Dunford #10 (Chicago Mission U14, D, 2028) : Her confidence in her edges and long, powerful strides had her going end to end through the middle of the ice, cutting and crossing over to evade the oppositions advances on her. Grade: B
Wilow Sell #8 (Chicago Mission U14, D, 2028) : Her offensive instincts have her jumping into plays to give her team odd man rushes, and with her shot, you want that option. She is also good positionally to get herself into good areas quicker. Grade: B-
Carter Harre #12 (Chicago Mission U14, F, 2029) : Harre is a menace when backchecking as she comes hard through the middle, angles the opposition to the boards, and strips the puck away before the other team has barely thought about making a play. Grade: B-
Sarah Reeder #27 (Chicago Mission U14, F, 2028) : Her smarts on a 2 on 1 had her beating the defender with a slick tape to tape dish to her teammate through the turned feet of that defenceman, giving her the assist on a beauty goal. Grade: B-
Gianna Monaco #51 (Chicago Mission U14, D, 2028) : Monaco has excellent awareness on the penalty kill on when to apply pressure and when to jump her opponent. Gabriella MacAlpine #86 (Clarington Flames BAA, F, 2027) : MacAlpine is a goal scorer who is able to find the soft areas of the ice to open herself for scoring chances. She possesses a great, accurate, quick shot, and a high level of hockey IQ in the offensive zone. She drives the offense for Clarington, and is heavily relied upon by her team to produce goals. She is creative on the power play, and is also a great forechecker. Grade: B+
Mya Youngs #84 (Clarington Flames BAA, F, 2027) : Young shows some creative offensive attack, using the net and evasive skating to pull the tender out of position. She scored on the rebound of her wrap-around. Grade: B
Kylie Haslam #2 (Clarington Flames BAA, D, 2027) : Haslam can box out players looking to get inside positioning, and she can help her goalie see shots from the point that are coming through. She competes hard in the corners to help her team obtain puck possession and break it out, while also having good defensive zone anticipation. Haslam is patient on the breakout, finding good passing lanes, taking the space she is given and making solid first passes. Grade: B-
Sydney Robertson #9 (Clarington Flames BAA, D, 2028) : Robertson has the ability to escape pressure using the net. With heads-up to see the gaps, Roberston made several good clearing passes on the penalty kill. Grade: B-
Lacey McCarthy #10 (Clarington Flames BAA, F, 2027) : McCarthy is a hard worker who has a knack of arriving at the net at the right time to bang home goals. She is a quick player that plays with her head up at all times. She is able to use her smarts to get around defenders. Grade: B-
Peyton MacCallum #23 (Clarington Flames BAA, F, 2027) : MacCallum has good positioning in the defensive zone as a winger. She pressures the D and willingly blocks shots which keeps pucks from the goalie and energizes her team. Grade: B-
London Firmin #24 (Clarington Flames BAA, D, 2027) : Firmin uses her edges incredibly well while keeping her head up all the time and looking for options. Firmin uses great body position to angle out attackers, she times things well to come across to steal loose pucks and engage with the attack. Grade: B-
Cami Stewart #27 (Clarington Flames BAA, F, 2027) : Stewart plays an unselfish approach to the game, while also not being afraid to take the puck to the middle of the ice. She plays with a fearless mentality, clearly shown by how she engages in the corners and dirty areas of the ice. She has good hands and passing ability as well. Grade: B-
Isla Wilson #29 (Clarington Flames BAA, G, 2027) : Wilson moves laterally in a quick manner, and her post-to-post movement is effective. She can track the puck well during odd-man rushes and can anticipate in-tight chances. She made various highlight-reel glove saves to keep her team close in the game. Although not tested in this game, Wilson carried a calm demeanor and held pucks when needed. Grade: B-
Emily Harman #44 (Clarington Flames BAA, D, 2027) : Harman is patient in her own zone to find good passing lanes and make tape-to-tape passes on the breakout. She closes the Gap well when defending, taking away the time and space of the attackers. Grade: B-
Dalyn Fairey #87 (Clarington Flames BAA, F, 2027) : Fairey can shoot well and score goals. She has the ability to get quick shots off on net on the rush, while also possessing the ability to get open off in-zone cycles. She has quick edges and plays hard with her head up. Grade: B-
Charlotte Walker #88 (Clarington Flames BAA, F, 2028) : Walker is a solid forward with good agility and puck control to pursue and evade pressure. She makes crisp passes to move pucks through in the neutral zone, drives the net with and without the puck and battles net front for position and screening attempts. Grade: B-
Kylie McLellan #91 (Clarington Flames BAA, D, 2027) : McLellan is a good defender who maintains good gaps on opposing forwards coming down on her. She poke-checks well and breaks up plays effortlessly. She is a good skater who can break the puck out of her own zone simply through her skating ability. Grade: B-
Grace Albert #28 (Clarington Flames BAA, D, 2027) : Albert plays a really slow and calm game. She is not scared to stand up at the blue line to intercept passes or to shoot the puck back in deep. She takes good low hard shots for rebounds and makes nice crisps passes. Grade: C+

Lily Burger #15 (Cleveland Lady Barons, D, 2028) : Burger is an agile skater with strong puck skills. She used her long reach to protect the puck as she sharply stopped, pivoted and evaded the attackers. Burger has great GAP, she controlled the space and stripped the puck from the attackers on the rush. Grade: B+
Alexa Best #29 (Cleveland Lady Barons, G, 2027) : Best moves laterally with ease to get herself in position to make saves. She cleanly punches pucks out of danger with her blocker. Best made a big save on a 2v1, sliding across to get her pad on it. Grade: B
Gianna Ducsay #0 (Cleveland Lady Barons, F, 2028) : Ducsay is a quick skater who plays the game hard. She will compete hard down low and often win loose battles along the wall. She is good along the half-wall in her own zone, and is able to receive passes nicely on her backhand. She has good stick skills, and can use them well to be deceptive when she skates down into the offensive zone. Grade: B-
Reagan Anderson #19 (Cleveland Lady Barons, D, 2028) : Anderson is a 2-way defender that can jump in odd-man rushes like 3-on-2s, and also break up oncoming attackers coming down wide on her. She has an active stick and can poke-check opposing players when they stickhandle. Anderson demonstrated her game awareness by checking the clock and eating up the play to kill the clock on the PK. Grade: B-
Madilyn Burdette #23 (Cleveland Lady Barons, F, 2028) : Burdette bardown snipped from the mid slot. She was calm and quick to get her shot off and she was rewarded with a goal. Grade: B-
Olivia Kirkpatrick #42 (Cleveland Lady Barons, F, 2027) : Kirkpatrick is an offensive-minded forward who can get behind opposing defenders when they are flat-footed or a bit slower. She can use her quick skating ability to bolt past defenders and use her good hockey IQ to make plays from corners. She is a relentless forechecker as well. Kirkpatrick is strong in the faceoff circle. She goes to the net ready to pounce, scoring by jumping on a rebound and shoveling it under the tender. Grade: B-
Olivia Wiess #48 (Cleveland Lady Barons, G, 2027) : Weiss is a competitor between the pipes, as she never gives up on a loose rebound or shot in tight. She has a good blocker hand, and is able to steer loose pucks to the corner. She can poke-check players effectively coming down on her as well. When opposing players get breakaways, she often stands tall and tracks shooters quickly. Grade: B-
Brooke Eisenhardt #5 (Cleveland Lady Barons, F/D, 2028) : Eisenhardt controlled the gap and kept the attacker wide on a 1v1. Grade: C+

Her head is always up as she is constantly moving with and without the puck, shaking the opposition off, all while patiently waiting for the optimal scoring opportunity. a great puck carrier who quickly moves down ice, when her team does not present options she drives the net, or cuts lanes in order to get a shot off, good skater. Abygail Marsolais #4 (Cornwall Typhoons U18 AA, D, 2028) : Marsolais has great vision as she confidently skated into open ice with the puck, took the defenders wide, dished the puck out front to her teammate who capitalized off of a scrum. She puts herself in good positions to separate the player from the puck on the boards, using her smaller stature to her advantage. Grade: B-
Sofie Gagner #8 (Cornwall Typhoons U18 AA, F, 2027) : A good d-zone player down the wall, she was a key winger who used chips and quick walks off the boards on a breakout which helped her team develop an overload heading into the ozone. Selkie Brown #11 (CT Jr. Rangers U14, F, 2027) : Brown keeps her feet moving and is constantly looking for soft spots on the ice to generate an opportunity. She goes to work in the corners and is very engaged in the play. Brown makes accurate passes and drives the net protecting the puck well with good body positioning. She scored a beauty goal on the power play with a 1 timer slap shot from the slot, scoring low post. Grade: B+
Sophie Um #6 (CT Jr. Rangers U14, F, 2028) : Um is a bigger player who likes to generate offense, she battles for pucks and takes them off the wall to generate scoring opportunities for herself. Grade: B
Clara Whalen #2 (CT Jr. Rangers U14, D, 2027) : Whalen has some skill and she will use it and make a player look silly, she moves the puck up ice quick and makes smart plays. Grade: B-
Keira Gould #8 (CT Jr. Rangers U14, D, 2027) : Gould is a solid defense, she is a good skater and she makes smart plays, she knows when to pinch. Gould anticipates well to intercept passes. She moves the puck smoothly with her partner along the blue line. Grade: B-
Avery Dini #26 (CT Jr. Rangers U14, G, 2028) : Dini is a good little goalie with a solid glove, she moves well and tracks pucks pretty well. jumping on any rebounds. Dini plays bigger than her small frame. She has good lateral movement, holding her ground on the rush, getting out on shooters in tight and covering rebounds quickly. She is aware and reacts to the greater play – getting to the bench on a delayed penalty and leaving her net to pass the puck up to teammates. Her quick glove kept her team in this tight game. Maggie Lyden #12 (Hartford Jr. Lady Wolfpack U14, F, 2027) : Lyden is part of an offensive threat, controlling the puck, cycling, heads up, getting off her quick release shot and distributing the puck well, assisting on a powerplay goal.
Mia Lynch #19 (CT Jr. Rangers U14, D, 2027) : Lynch effectively controls the GAP and stick-checks opponents along the boards to cause turnovers then makes tape-to-tape passes on the breakout. She scored on a well-placed point shot under the tenders glove.
Durham West U15AA
Renee Lapointe #21 (Durham West Lightning U15AA, F/D, 2027) : Lapointe is a smart player who finds the soft ice in the offensive zone, calls for the puck, and buries one home. She creates her own space with her silky-smooth hands, use of her edges, escape turns, and quick feet to evade defenders in tight spaces. Lapointe uses her puck control and smarts to find areas of the ice that are open and have the potential to score. She is a smooth skater and had great edge work down low, being able to evade pressure from opposing defenders. Grade: A-
Cassandra Cardone #79 (Durham West Lightning U15AA, F, 2027) : Cardone has excellent off-puck awareness as she covers her defense in the offensive zone and makes the safe plays to keep the puck in. Her patience and ability to watch the play develop puts her in the opposition passing lanes, creating panic for their defense, and opportunities to win the puck back for her team. Cardone is an offensive force and has a great hockey IQ. Her quickness and relentlessness on the puck force turnovers, and she makes quick choices with and without the puck. She helps Durham West play quickly and have a fast transition game. Grade: A-
Aurora Matt #11 (Durham West Lightning U15AA, F/D, 2027) : Matts presence on the blue line is dynamite. She walks the line with confidence and ease, controls the play with patience, watching for a teammate’s stick for a deflection, an open passing lane, or ripping a low, hard point shot on net. Excellent at creating many offensive opportunities for her teammates to capitalize on. Grade: B
Madison Bryk #17 (Durham West Lightning U15AA, F, 2027) : Bryk uses her tall stature and strength to easily dominate puck battles, beat defenders wide with her powerful strides and speed, and rip heavy, accurate shots on net. She is very comfortable carrying the puck and does so with poise and confidence. Grade: B
Rachel Talesnik #35 (Durham West Lightning U15AA, D, 2027) : Talesnik has no problem taking control of the play in the d zone and rushing down the ice with the puck, creating a scoring chance with her cross-pad rebound. Her awareness in all three zones allows her to support the puck well and find that soft ice. Talesnik generates plenty of offense on the backend, being thoroughly and effectively able to jump into the rush and take charge. She makes great D-to-D passes that are crisp and receivable for her D-partner. Grade: B
Savannah Halleran #98 (Durham West Lightning U15AA, F, 2028) : Halleran has a knack for scoring goals in tight, with quick hands and offensive smarts. She is quick on her edges and flies up and down the ice. She shoots very well on the right side, and can get shots through screens. She scored multiple goals against Ancaster in a big, lopsided win. Marissa Cowling #6 (Durham West Lightning U15AA, D, 2027) : Cowling has a great shot from the point and can get shots through in traffic. She walks the line well on the powerplay and sees the ice quite well when breaking out of her defensive end. Grade: B-

Emily Thorpe #9 (Etobicoke Dolphins U15AA, F, 2028) : Thorpe is a strong passer and relies upon her skating ability to apply a relentless forecheck against the opposition. She does not shy away from the hard areas of the ice and uses her body to gain inside positioning. Through her playmaking ability, she is to play with and sets up many scoring chances. Thorpe causes chaos on the net front, creating traffic and getting sticks on point shots. She scored a backdoor rebound goal, popping off the coverage and grabbing the loose puck. Grade: B+
Jaelyn Mundy #8 (Etobicoke Dolphins U15AA, D, 2028) : Mundy plays an aggressive game. She pinches in the OZ, anticipating passing lanes and stepping in to intercept. In the NZ she stands players up, causing turnovers which she turns into a breakout with outlet passes to teammates. Grade: B
Chloe Sturino #11 (Etobicoke Dolphins U15AA, D, 2028) : Sturino has an excellent low, hard shot from the point that gets through almost every time, creating juicy rebounds for her forwards to capitalize on. Sturino is able to get shots through to the net from long distances in the offensive zone. She is able to miss the shin pads in front of her, while giving her teammates ample opportunity to get tips and deflections on her shots. She creates time and space for herself through a great ability to “walk the line” with confidence. Sturino angles to separate players from the puck. She moves the puck with tape-to-tape passes in all zones. Sturino jumps into the offense with give-and-go passing and finds her way to shot lanes getting quality point shots on net. Grade: B
Laila Matthon #13 (Etobicoke Dolphins U15AA, D, 2028) : Matthon is a tall, strong d with great gap control as she is constantly shutting down the opposition near her blue line. She uses her stick well to intercept passes and poke checks in the defensive zone and has a hard and low shot in the offensive zone. Matthon has good speed to keep her positioning and swing across to support her D partner. She moves the puck efficiently with her D partner (#13) to regroup, break out and set up for point shots. Grade: B
Gabby Catalano #18 (Etobicoke Dolphins U15AA, F, 2028) : Catalano is a fast forward who jumps at the chances to go to the dirty areas to win puck battles for her team and uses her speed and edges to quickly transition the play from defense to offense. Catalano is a super quick skater who uses deceptive dekes to create time and space for herself. She consistently displays goal-scoring ability in high-traffic areas of the ice and uses her speed to get in and out of checks. Catalano ensures a complete game by being on the “right” side of the puck both offensively and defensively. Catalano creates unexpected speed. She swoops in on defenders and steals pucks then dishes to driving teammates. She finds lanes to the net, drives and gets shots on. Grade: B
Bronwyn Caithness #21 (Etobicoke Dolphins U15AA, F, 2028) : Caithness is an unselfish playmaker who looks to make strong passes for her linemates. She is a pass-first player who is easy to play with and quick off the rush. However, she is not afraid to get shots off when she needs to, showing a clear ability to score in tight with good hands. Her playmaking and general high skill level makes her stand out from the rest. Caithness plays with intensity, a solid work ethic and a scoring touch. In this 2-goal game she started with a drive down the wing, battling for possession, took the D 1v1 and tucked the puck in the short side. On her second she gained possession off a strong forecheck, took the puck up the wall and attacked out the mid-seam, waiting out the tender and popping a top-shelf shot to light the lamp. Grade: B
Kristina Eccleston #94 (Etobicoke Dolphins U15AA, F, 2027) : Eccleston is an offensive presence who creates her own scoring opportunities by driving out of the corner with powerful strides; always has her head up looking to release her wicked shot; uses her body to move bodies and capitalize on pucks in front (goal); and is not afraid to stand strong in front of their net and take the goalies eyes away, accepting a few brutal blockers to her back. Eccleston is a power forward and also possesses an evident high level of speed while on the rush. She is not afraid to gain speed wide and cut into the front of the net. Eccleston’s shot power and quick release frequently catch goalies off guard, and her combination of quick hands makes her an offensive threat on a shift-to-shift basis. She does not cheat for offense, frequently exemplifying strong “back-checking” takeaways during opposing odd-man rushes. Eccleston is a tough and skilled player. She is strong in puck battles, using stick checks to steal and puck control to evade defenders. She makes crisp passes, and finds lanes to the net to release her solid shot. In this game, she stole the puck with a stick check, went 1v1 pulling a toe drag and quick release shot to score low blocker. Grade: B
Riley Manna #31 (Etobicoke Dolphins U15AA, G, 2027) : Manna is a strong goaltender who is consistently square to the puck, while possessing the ability to make quick lateral, post-to-post movements. She is rarely caught out of position, as she relies upon her flexibility to take away potential chances for the opposing team.Manna has many positives to her game. She moves smoothly from post to post and has a flexible butterfly that she used to make sprawling saves where she quickly found and covered up. She holds glove saves and redirects pucks to the corner with her stick. Grade: B-
Isabel Thomas #33 (Etobicoke Dolphins U15AA, G, 2028) : Thomas comes up big on a regular basis during high-danger chances in the slot, always being calm and posed in the net. She is rarely caught out of position and has solid rebound control around her crease. Grade: B-
Stella Bonner #44 (Etobicoke Dolphins U15AA, D, 2028) : Bonner is a strong defensive player who is consistently in a strong position in her own zone. She possesses a high awareness and is able to cover the opposing team’s open players. Bonner plays within the dots and keeps attackers wide. She moves the puck efficiently with her partner to regroup and find breakout options. Grade: B-
Ava Giacomodonato #83 (Etobicoke Dolphins U15AA, D, 2027) : Giacomodonato confidently rushes the puck end to end, patiently waits for an open teammate, dishes to the high forward from behind the net, giving her a beauty assist on the play. Giacomodonato is a heads-up defender with strong puck skills. She distributes the puck well out of her zone with tape-to-tape passes. She has a good skill level with quick hands in tight, giving her the ability to convert on breakaway opportunities and high-traffic chances. She possesses good hockey sense and vision while on 2 on 1 and other odd-man rushes, frequently looking to make a play and exemplify unselfish hockey. Vinci is an agile skater who uses her edging to make space for herself with tight turns. She plays heads-up, makes tape-to-tape play making passes, finds shooting lanes in the offensive zone and gets shots on target. She won a foot race to put a shot off the crossbar. Vinci scored a short-handed goal, getting off a quick slot shot off after a turn-over was created by a forechecking teammate. Grade: B-

She uses her speed effectively to win pucks and send a pass to an open linemate or fire a shot on net to create chances. Hogue drove the net to bang home a rebound for a well-earned goal. Hogue moves pucks quickly and crisply to get the puck up-ice. She generates good speed through the neutral zone to force D back and create space for her attack on net. Grade: B+

Becca Markell #55 (Gloucester U15AA, F, 2027) : Markell finds the seams and walks them with purpose, getting shots on net. She always has her head up and looking for shot lanes. Grade: C+

Charlotte Poole #30 (Guelph Gryphons BAA, G, 2028) : Poole is a well rounded tender who plays the puck, uses her stick well for deflections and poke checks and moves quickly laterally. Poole is a flexible goaltender who battles through traffic and makes split saves. Grade: B+
Megan Klapwyk #13 (Guelph Gryphons BAA, F, 2027) : Klapwyk plays with great hussle whether it is to the bench or on the forecheck. She forces errors on the forecheck and keeps defenders on their toes with an active cycle. Klapwyk scored a nice goal on a 2v1 rush, with a quick catch and a release shot on the pass. Grade: B
Lexi Beuttenmiller #4 (Guelph Gryphons BAA, F, 2027) : Beuttenmiller distributes the puck well in opportune times. With speed on the 2v1 rush she slid over a pass for the assist which shows her playmaking and selfless style. Grade: B-
Madison Murphy #7 (Guelph Gryphons BAA, D, 2027) : Murphy is a strong skater with good puck skills. She jumped in the rush and pulled a nice stutter step fake that made the opponent bite and allowed her to step on by. Grade: B-
Juliette Mann #14 (Guelph Gryphons BAA, F, 2027) : Mann communicates well with teammates, calling for the puck on the breakout, then carrying through the neutral zone and driving the net getting a quality shot on. Grade: B-
Madison Sullivan #25 (Guelph Gryphons BAA, F, 2027) : Sullivan scored a timely game winning goal in the last minute. She battled net front for position and was quick on the rebound hammer home a 5 hole shot. Grade: B-
Anna Scheerer #31 (Guelph Gryphons BAA, F, 2027) : Scheerer has speed in her feet and hands. She can get off a quick shot on the net drive and create a scoring chance off of it. Grade: B-
Orla Hayes #3 (Guelph Gryphons BAA, D, 2027) : Hayes is a strong skater who controls the gap well through the neutral zone. She confidently stands up the rush at the top of the circles and is confident in her defensive play. Grade: C+
Rylie Richardson #94 (Guelph Gryphons BAA, D, 2027) : Richardson plays a heads up game, finding teammates and hitting them with tape to tape passes. She is mostly a playmaker which we are happy to see due to how well she moves the puck. Grade: C+

Skylar Ruschpler #88 (Hamilton Hawks BAA, F, 2027) : Ruschpler is a tall, powerful forward who uses her frame to easily ward off defenders and protect the puck from oncoming pressure. Speaking of pressure, her relentless forecheck, excellent ability to separate players from the puck, and patience and vision in the offensive zone makes her an extremely dangerous player. She is a good center who is patient getting into the dot, she is quick to get out of a draw and make herself present in the play. Quick to chase puck down in battles and knows to pin the body for f2. Grade: A
Rainn Baliat #93 (Hamilton Hawks BAA, F, 2027) : Baliat is a feisty forward with a lot of fire and drive to always be first to the puck. On the penalty kill, she intercepted a pass from the winger to the defense, chipped it by the defender, giving herself a shorthanded breakaway chance. Her use of her edges and puck control in tight spaces has her gaining the advantage on the opposition, allowing her to cut to the net to create more scoring opportunities. Grade: A-
Addison Neto #10 (Hamilton Hawks BAA, F, 2028) : Neto is not afraid to make herself big in shot lanes, block shots, and then pounce on those deflections to either get the puck out or go down on a breakaway. Grade: B-
Simone Swanson #17 (Hamilton Hawks BAA, F, 2027) : Swanson is a smart player who is aware of the plays building around her. This gives her the edge as she uses her quick feet to intercept passes in the offensive zone as F3, creating scoring opportunities. She dove to break up a cross crease pass in her defensive zone, potentially saving an easy tap in for the opponents. Grade: B-
Juliette Menard #21 (Hamilton Hawks BAA, D, 2027) : Menard is reliable, patient, heads up defenceman who does not force plays or shots in any of the zones. She constantly has her head on a swivel as she is looking for the opposition sneaking into her zone, the open player in the offensive zone for a tip or hard pass, or the neutral zone pass that will have her team re-entering the o-zone as fast as possible. Grade: B-
Isabella Chan #98 (Hamilton Hawks BAA, D, 2028) : A good defenseman who enjoys activating In the ozone. When she is under pressure she is not afraid to hold the puck or skate with it until she sees a pass. A good skater with good transitions. She is calm on the line and clearly communicates for the puck from both her forwards and d partner. Grade: B-
Lili Howick #55 (Hamilton Hawks BAA, D, 2027) : Howick is a tall, strong defense that always clears the front of her net using her size, giving her goalie the best chance to stop any incoming shots. Grade: C+

Tessa Kelly #1 (Honeybaked U14, G, 2027) : Kelly held her team in this game, getting out on shots and fighting through traffic. She uses quick lateral movements to get in front of shots. Grade: B-
Melanie Hummon #13 (Honeybaked U14, F, 2027) : Hummon is a patient player when she has the puck, and she is able to pass to the points to relieve pressure off herself. She unselfishly uses her teammates and advances the puck forward when needed while within the neutral and defensive zone. She makes nice breakout plays along the way, and gains the offensive zone with her head up, looking to make the next play. Hummon makes space for herself net front and knows where to be. In the dying seconds of the game, Hummon drove the net off puck drop jumping on a rebound for a big scoring chance. Grade: B-
Brooklyn Howell #19 (Honeybaked U14, F, 2029) : Howell is a 2-way forward who outworks players frequently. She plays with an edge, and is able to compete hard in the corners. With this, she is able to gain puck possession and walk out to the front of the net fearlessly and willingly. She scored a nice goal against Cleveland, showing patience and skill. Grade: B-
Makayla Gibbons #39 (Honeybaked U14, D, 2029) : Gibbons plays on her toes, and is agile when escaping through high-traffic areas. She skates smoothly and is able to find the open ice to create space for herself. She does not rush decisions with the puck and is poised to make good plays out of her own end. She passes the puck flat and allows her teammates to easily receive them. Grade: B-
Jane Janda #71 (Honeybaked U14, F, 2028) : Janda scored a skilled goal against Cleveland, showing off her nice shot in tight. She is an offensive-minded player that uses her hockey smarts to find prime scoring areas in the offensive zone. She is a quick player who competes hard on loose pucks and digs hard in the corners to come out with possession. She gives her team energy, as she provides them with big 2-way plays when they need momentum most. Grade: B-
Lexie Donaldson #88 (Honeybaked U14, F, 2028) : Donaldson works hard down low and competes for loose 50/50 pucks. She is a relentless worker and will not give up. If she gets knocked down, she gets up quickly and continues to battle. She gives her team energy and is an effective penalty killer, not being afraid to block shots and get into shooting lanes. Ivy Cesa #3 (Honeybaked U14, D, 2027) : Cesa has the agility to use evasive turns to avoid the pressure of the forecheck. She turns sharply and accelerates out of the turn to make space. Grade: C+

Eve Pelletier #10 (Intrepide de L’Outaouais MAAA, F, 2027) : Pelletier has elite scoring abilities. Her offensive instincts are elite and she moves very smoothly up and down the ice. She scored 4 goals against Clarington, all in a different way, showing off her quick snapshot release, backhand abilities, deking and speed. She is an extremely smart player and knows how to get in and out of traffic. She drives the net hard, and her competitive level is a bonus to her already elite level of skill. Grade: A
Annabelle Grenon #29 (L’Intrepides de L’Outaoucais U15AA, F/D, 2026) : Grenon is a playmaker who looks to advance the puck forward anytime she has it. She is an unselfish player who possesses great offensive instincts. Her patience and poise with the puck allow her team to extend their time on attack, and she does not rush her decisions with the puck. Her snap shot is very quick as well, as she demonstrates a complete offensive game. Grade: B
Beatrice Turcotte #66 (Intrepide de L’Outaouais MAAA, F, 2026) : Turcotte is a natural playmaker who looks to make unselfish passing plays to the middle of the ice. She works very hard to obtain puck possession and then delays to draw players towards her. She then will dish it off and create scoring chances for her team. Her patience with the puck is noticeable and she sets the tempo for the pace of the game. Grade: B
Elizabeth Papineau #88 (Intrepide de L’Outaouais MAAA, D, 2028) : Papineau joins the rush frequently and is not afraid to rush the puck up the ice. She is able to find her teammates on the breakout well, hitting them with tape-to-tape, crisp passes. She is a smart defender and uses her skating abilities to steer players wide and keep them to the outside. She has the capability to score from a distance (the blue line). Grade: B
Alyssa Cote #99 (Intrepide de L’Outaouais MAAA, F, 2027) : Cote is a relentless skater who can pick the pockets of the opposing defenders. She forces errors and makes them cough up the puck. Cora Galliah #17 (Kingston Ice Wolves U15AA, D, 2027) : Her wrist shot from the slot consistently challenges goaltenders and creates scoring opportunities. Her quick reactions and ability to pounce on loose pucks illustrate her sharp awareness and offensive instincts. She is also a responsible player, often covering for her defense in the offensive zone. Galliah’s forechecking skills are impressive. She uses her stick effectively to steal pucks and drive the net for shots on goal. Her agility and skill allow her to weave through the opposition to gain the zone and initiate offensive plays, making her a valuable asset in transitions. Defensively, she gets into position to provide strong coverage and support for her team. Grade: B
Aliyah Beleza #77 (Kingston Ice Wolves U15AA, F, 2027) : Beleza is a good-sized forward who plays physically. She wins draws cleanly to start the play with possession. Andreana Chalhoub #14 (Kitchener Lady Rangers U15AA, F, 2028) : Chalhoub has a good hockey IQ and scores from any angle, as she scored a great bank-shot goal against the Peterborough Ice-Kats from behind the goal line. She is a smart player who knows where her teammates are around her when entering the zone. She is a threat to score on 2-on-1s and has the ability to convert on her chances in tight around the crease. Grade: B+
Addison Koktan #16 (Kitchener Lady Rangers U15AA, F, 2027) : Koktan is an offensive-minded forward who likes to shoot the puck on the fly. She is quick and skates smoothly, which separates her and creates space for her to make plays in the offensive zone. She has the potential to score many goals, as she gets many shots on goal consistently. Grade: B+
Lilly Hartwick #4 (Kitchener Lady Rangers U15AA, D, 2028) : Hartwick is a fantastic heads-up shooter from the point. Her eyes are always up looking for sticks, passing lanes, shooting lanes, and creating rebounds for her teammates to capitalize on, which they did. Grade: B
Charlotte Hines #7 (Kitchener Lady Rangers U15AA, F, 2028) : Hines is a playmaking forward who makes unselfish plays and good passes. She has good hockey smarts and can move efficiently up and down the ice. Grade: B
Adiah VanEngan #55 (Kitchener Lady Rangers U15AA, F, 2027) : Vanengan is a strong forward who capitalizes on chances in front of their net, being rewarded with a garbage goal. She has quick, powerful strides that give her the advantage over defenders as she beats them wide while they are still pivoting. Grade: B
Isabelle Peverley #77 (Kitchener Lady Rangers U15AA, F, 2027) : Peverley can drive the net fearlessly when she takes the puck wide on zone entries. The right-handed forward has a nose for the net and has an evident scoring touch. She digs hard at loose pucks, and competes hard when battling down low against tall, opposing defenders. Grade: B-

Madeleine Schiff #23 (Little Caesars U14, D, 2027) : Schiff is a good-sized defender who skates the puck out of the D-zone on the PK to maintain control and kill off time on the penalty. Her cross-ice passes are crisp and on the tape and she hits the stretch with precision. She uses her speed effectively as she winds and wheels through opponents to gain the zone and drive the net for shots on goal and then gets back to defend. Schiff won the puck on a dump and chased to chip one by the goalie and light the lamp. Her long reach and active stick frequently turn away incoming puck carriers at the defensive blue line. The defender gets pucks to the net with a hard slap shot, a quick snapshot, and a low wrist shot. Grade: B+
Rylan Harwood #17 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2027) : Harwood has good hands in tight and uses her size to her advantage. She drove the right wing, shielding the puck with her frame as the D were draped over her applying pressure, to snap one through the five -hole for a well-earned goal. Grade: B
Kate Malachino #91 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2027) : Malachino uses her good-sized frame to protect the puck and maintain possession when taking the puck to the net for shots on goal. Her soft hands in tight enable her to navigate through traffic and snap shots on net for chances. She is successful in the faceoff circle, winning battles and drawing pucks cleanly to start the play with possession. Malachino snagged a loose puck off a rebound to snap it home for a powerplay goal. Grade: B
Giuliana Golden #9 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2028) : Golden is a feisty forward who controls and handles the puck smoothly to make crisp passes on the tape to open teammates. The strong skater quickly pounces on loose pucks to gain possession and capitalize on opportunities. Golden snapped a beauty from the half boards to light the lamp for a shorty. Grade: B-
Lainey Parraghi #10 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2029) : Parraghi is successful in the faceoff circle, winning battles and drawing pucks cleanly to start the play with possession. She is a strong, smooth skater who powers through opponents and battles hard below the red line. Grade: B-
Reagan McGarvey #92 (Little Caesars U14, F, 2027) : McGarvey uses her size to her advantage, battling hard in the corners and staying strong on her stick. Her passes are smooth and on the tape. Grade: B-

Aj Smith #6 (London Devilettes U15AA, F, 2027) : Smith has a combination of smooth hands and a quick shot. This makes her a lethal offensive threat every time she steps on the ice. Her quick skating ability complements her skillset very well, making it easier for her to get shots off the fly. She consistently shows patience with the puck while in high-traffic areas of the ice such as the slot and in corners. She rounds out her game by ensuring a high competitive level in her own end and a clear commitment to defense. Grade: B
Sophie Dedobbellaer #8 (London Devilettes U15AA, F, 2027) : Dedobbellaer pounces on pucks everywhere to quickly regain possession for her team and put them on the attack. Her jump off of faceoffs is unmatched and she was rewarded with two goals due to her foot speed and ability to beat the opponent to the puck. Dedobbellaer has great stickhandling range and quickness, while also having the evident ability to score in all areas of the offensive zone. Her quick shot off the fly is dangerous for opposing goaltenders, and she is also not hesitant to find her teammates on odd-man rush chances such as 2 on 1s and 3 on 1s. Grade: B
Alison Elijah #10 (London Devilettes U15AA, F, 2027) : Elijah shows a high competitive level while battling for the puck and commits to her own end equally as much as the offensive zone. She is a good skater that does not shy away from the dirty areas of the ice such as the corners, the inner slot and the crease. Grade: B
Lilli Muldowney #12 (London Devilettes U15AA, D, 2027) : Muldowney battles fiercely at her own blue line to keep the opponent from entering her zone due to her incredible gap control. Muldowney works hard in all areas of the ice and plays a strong 200-foot game. She has strong positioning in the D zone, and can always be relied upon at the end of the game, whether her team needs to score or defend a goal. She is physical down low below the goal line and is hard to play against. Grade: B
Emma Bovin #15 (London Devilettes U15AA, F, 2028) : Bovin goes bar down with no screen, by capitalizing on an in-zone turnover for the other team. Bovin contains the ability to make great dekes and dangles around opposing forwards and defense. Through her quick foot speed, she is able to separate herself and create time and space to make a pass, shoot or continue to hold on to the puck. Grade: B
Avery Thomsen #7 (London Devilettes U15AA, D, 2027) : Thomsen makes a great first pass out of the zone and is able to break the puck out individually and through her passing ability. She ensures the puck is always being advanced forward up the ice, which helps her team play with quickness and pace. Thomsen additionally has a quick, strong release from the point, as she is able to get shots on net from all areas of the offensive zone. Grade: B-
Colbie Farr #9 (London Devilettes U15AA, D, 2028) : Farr can get shots through from the point and is able to shoot through high-traffic areas. This allows her teams forwards to get frequent rebound chances and second chances to score off rush opportunities. She is additionally able to walk the line well at the point by being quick on her edges. Grade: B–
Emma Boere #18 (London Devilettes U15AA, F, 2027) : Boere attacks the middle of the ice with speed, poise and confidence when rushing the puck up. She is able to protect the puck well, while also being able to find her teammates in good scoring areas of the ice. Grade: B-

Lily Malden #19 (Markham- Stouffville Stars BAA, F, 2027) : Malden is a fantastic F1, as she quickly takes away the opponents time and space by pressuring the defense into the corners, pinning them to the wall, and either taking the puck herself or waiting for support to help her. Grade: B-
Peyton Fleming #29 (Markham- Stouffville Stars BAA, F, 2027) : Fleming has impressive hockey IQ on the penalty kill as she comfortably and confidently plays keep away for extended periods of time, only getting rid of the puck when under pressure or when she needs to change. Her powerful strides and crossovers allow her to move into space without being touched by the opponents. Grade: B-
Loewen Cann #77 (Markham- Stouffville Stars BAA, F, 2028) : Cann is able to make quick transitions from full speed to a dead stop, back to full speed to fool the opponent and have them spinning in circles. Grade: B-

Kyla Corbett #13 (Mississauga Hurricanes U15AA, F, 2027) : Corbett displayed her silky mitts as she deked around two defenders then slid the puck five-hole on the goalie. Corbett is an elusive player who is creative when in-tight on the goalie. She is able to finish and convert on her chances at pivotal moments in the game. Grade: B
Ava Reinhart #23 (Mississauga Hurricanes U15AA, F, 2028) : Reinhart is good at passing with good offensive instinct. Her quick hands allow her to get around defenders easily, and her quick crossovers enable her to create space for herself to make decisions in the offensive zone. Her skating ability is smooth, and she has a strong stride that helps her be propelled up and down the ice. Defensively, she has an active stick and backchecks hard. Grade: B
Amanda Hodgins #44 (Mississauga Hurricanes U15AA, D, 2027) : Hodgins is a large, mobile defenceman who has good patience on the blue line. She confidently fakes players out and changes her angle to create a shooting opportunity for herself. Hodgins has good hands and is very mobile. The right-handed defender can join the rush and push the pace offensively for her team, as she is frequently shooting from the point for tips, deflections and rebounds for Mississauga forwards. Grade: B-
|Therese^de^Ruiter^#86| : De Ruiter is extremely hard to push off the puck as she is a solid body that can use her edges well to create her own space or to evade oncoming pressure. De Ruiter takes the puck to the middle of the ice willingly and fearlessly. She is able to get shots off through bodies and through high-traffic areas. This reflects her confidence with the puck, as she holds on to it in high-pressure circumstances late in the game. Grade: B–
Kate Dmitrovic #98 (Mississauga Hurricanes U15AA, D, 2027) : Dmitrovic is strong and hard on her stick, making it difficult for opposing skaters to steal it from her. She skates well and possesses a great shot of the fly. The accuracy of her shot is able to go top-shelf with ease. Grade: B-

Logan Robertson #76 (Nepean Wildcats U18 AA, F, 2027) : Robertson is strong on her skates and plays a physical game. She makes strong decisions to close GAPs, pinch and steal on the boards in the offensive zone. Once with the puck she is able to maneuver and protect the puck well to maintain possession. She has a hard shot and assisted on a goal. Grade: A
Yoanna Peng #86 (Nepean Wildcats U15AA, F, 2028) : Peng plays a heads-up game and seems to always know where her teammates are. She routinely hits teammates with crisp passes in her playmaking and gets to the net to finish the job. Peng angles out opponents, steals pucks, and turns on the attack. She scored coming off the boards with a quick shot and in a net-front fleury. Grade: B+
Paige Wood #93 (Nepean Wildcats U15AA, D, 2027) : Wood has strong skating and puck-control skills. She shows patience and calm decision-making at the blue line, evading defenders with tight turns and quickly finding passing lanes hitting teammates with tape-to-tape passes. Wood controls the GAP in the neutral zone to force regroups and hold off the rush. Grade: B+
Yiling Garndner #19 (Nepean Wildcats U15AA, F, 2027) : Garndner is successful in winning draws cleanly to start the play with possession in even strength and man-advantage situations. Her soft hands allow her to cradle passes with ease and drive to the net for shots on goal or set up scoring opportunities. She forechecks with an active stick to cause turnovers and battles along the boards to win pucks. Defensively, she rushes the point and blocks shots. Penelope Campo #27 (New Jersey Titans U14, F, 2028) : Campo is a skilled passer who possesses a ton of skill with the puck. She has great offensive instinct and can skate very well up and down the ice. Gianna Butto #25 (NJ Colonials U14, F, 2027) : Butto slowed the whole pace of the game down with her patience and heads up play as she did not force a pass up the wall, but instead, confidently took up space letting a play develop before dishing a cross ice pass to her winger. Grade: B-
Ashlee Marsala #32 (NJ Colonials U14, F, 2027) : Marsala is excellent at angling the opposition off to eliminate their zone entry and is quick to recover the puck to put her team back on the offensive. Marsala is a great skater who plays at a high speed/pace. The left-handed forward possesses good skills with the puck and can skate in and out of high-traffic areas while still maintaining puck possession. Grade: B-

Courtney Busch #33 (North Bay Ice Boltz BAA, G, 2027) : Busch’s quickness was a real difference-maker in this game. She moves smoothly with the play and tracks pucks through traffic to snatch pucks out of the air or kick out a quick pad. Busch sticks with the play,making sprawling saves and pouncing on rebounds. Karlee Bolton #3 (North Bay Ice Boltz BAA, D, 2028) : Bolton controls the puck well, making tape-to-tape outlet passes and getting point shots low, hard and tippable. In the D zone she ties up her check net front to nullify active sticks. Grade: B
Alivia Purcell #9 (North Bay Ice Boltz BAA, F, 2027) : Purcell gets her body in shot lanes and blocks shots. Grade: B-
Brooklyn McGowan #14 (North Bay Ice Boltz BAA, D/F, 2028) : McCowan is aware of the action on the ice, showing anticipation as she uses stick checks to tie players up and intercept the puck. Grade: B-
Kloe Boucher #16 : Boucher is an unselfish player that is able to draw players to her, creating space for her teammates once she dishes it off. She is a strong skater who plays a quick transition game. Through her hockey IQ and active stick, she is able to anticipate plays and break up opposing team defensive zone plays, helping North Bay increase their puck possession time. Boucher has strong speed and puck control to drive through the neutral zone and create a lane to the net where she gets shots on. Grade: B-
Gianna Celebre #19 (North Bay Ice Boltz BAA, F, 2028) : Celebre can shoot the puck well and go into the dirty areas to score goals. She is willing to go to the middle of the ice to score and get good shots off there to optimize her chances of scoring. She is additionally a relentless skater who applies heavy pressure on the opposing teams defenders, making them initiate giveaways and helping her North Bay team control the puck more. Grade: B-
Amber Chevrier #27 (North Bay Ice Boltz BAA, F, 2027) : Chevrier is a strong forechecker, keeping her feet moving, angling players and causing turnovers. Grade: B-
Aliya Shank #29 (North Bay Ice Boltz BAA, F, 2028) : Shank is active all over the ice creating pressure with her forecheck and providing good back pressure with her backcheck. Grade: B-
Annabella Cosgrave #77 (North Bay Ice Boltz BAA, D, 2027) : Cosgrave is a 2-way defender that can contribute with good passes offensively, and key defensive zone plays as well. She can hold the puck in at the blue line to sustain zone pressure and puck possession time, while also being a good skater who can walk the line well to get shots through from the point. She has an active stick and intercepts passes that go cross-ice in the neutral zone. She is rarely flat-footed and ensures her gaps are held at a comfortable distance. Cosgrave uses her size and reach to her advantage, driving the net and protecting the puck with a wide reach. She placed a solid shot from the top of the circle just inside the post for a goal. She looks for options on her net drives when they do not present themselves (pass to slot or net drive) she holds the puck and takes it deep to maintain possession. Grade: B-
Maxine Rifou #26 (North Bay Ice Boltz BAA, D, 2027) : Rifou is a stay-at-home defender who boxes out players well and keeps them to the outer areas of the zone. She helps reduce the number of shots allowed her team gives up, and she always is one of the hardest working players on the ice. She is physical when needed in the dirty areas of the ice, while also being a good-enough skater to get herself out of high-traffic areas. Grade: C+

Maeve Aird #5 (North York Storm U15AA, D, 2028) : Aird is a fluid skater with strong passing, puck protection and puck control skills. She has a high hockey IQ, allowing her to jump into the offense in the OZ, find the shooting lanes, and get pucks to the net. Grade: B
Maddy De Marco #8 : De Marco has a high competitive level, as she is frequently seen in the corners, battling hard for pucks and oftentimes coming out with them. She then has the ability to make plays to set up her teammates or curl hard to the net to create a scoring chance for herself. DeMarco is a feisty back checker who takes away time and space from the offense. When on the attack she picks up awkward passes with ease and drives the net. Grade: B
Adelaide Doctorow #9 (North York Storm U15AA, D, 2027) : Doctorow plays with a high level of hustle. She is quick to get down on a pinch, pinning out the player. She communicates with teammates and moves the puck with crisp accurate passes. Grade: B
Isabella Grande #29 (North York Storm U15AA, G, 2027) : With a top-of-crease challenge, Grande deflects stick shots well clear and holds onto body shots. She is quick to square up with second shot attempts and comfortably passes pucks up to defenders when the situation presents itself. Grade: B
Elicia MacDonald #88 (North York Storm U15AA, D, 2027) : MacDonald rushes the puck on D with confidence and poise. She is able to score from a distance, with the help of her strong shooting ability. The right-handed D can use her skating and strength to her advantage when defending off opposing forecheckers. MacDonald is a key contributor to North Yorks offensive game on a consistent basis. Grade: B
Melayna Mollicone #92 (North York Storm U15AA, D, 2027) : Mollicone sees the ice well, finding teammates and executing on-the-tape passes and putting low hard shots on net through traffic. Defensively she controls the GAP on the rush and takes driving players to the boards and pins. Grade: B
Laura Rizzo #7 (North York Storm U15AA, D, 2028) : Rizzo is a very fast skater who can make smart decisions with the puck. She possesses a good hockey IQ, having the capability to skate the puck out of trouble or pass the puck up to create a quick transition game for North York. On the PK she moves well to take lanes and intercept passes with an active stick. Grade: B-
Alexa Chan #11 (North York Storm U15AA, D, 2028) : Chan has great hands and skating ability, while also being a strong defender who keeps opposing players to the perimeter of the ice. She has an active stick and has great hockey sense to ensure D zone coverage is optimal. On the PK, Chan moves like a piston, popping out and recovering to keep the puck wide. In the offensive zone she smoothly moves the puck with her partner and holds the line to keep the attack alive. Grade: B-
Alexia Karagiorgakis #13 (North York Storm U15AA, F, 2027) : Karagiorgakis has great stickhandling range/wing-span and the ability to place the puck in good areas around her body. Her puck protection makes her hard to defend, as she is able to enter the offensive zone with good speed and deception. Karagiorgakis wins battles along the boards, scoops up loose pucks and finds the shot lanes. She protects the puck well to get shots on net. Grade: B-
Andie McLean #17 (North York Storm U15AA, F, 2028) : McLean is a hard worker on the forecheck and applies relentless pressure on opposing defenders. She is able to create offensive chances for herself through her shifty, agile skating and poise with the puck. She is a complete player, who always ensures she backchecks hard for her defense. She makes a consistent effort to make plays and passes to her teammates in high-scoring areas such as the slot and crease. McLean has an effective forecheck that interrupts the breakout. In the offensive zone, she drives the net and creates scoring opportunities with shots on and pass-offs. Grade: B-
Audrey Soja #27 (North York Storm U15AA, F, 2028) : Soja has a good scoring touch around the net and is willing to take the puck to the middle of the ice off the fly. She can get shots off in a quick manner and through traffic, making it tough for opposing goalies and defenders to contain her. Along the boards Soja is tough to contain, she avoids pins, gets free and hits teammates with crisp passes. Grade: B-
Catelyn Clark #77 (North York Storm U15AA, D, 2028) : Clark is a feisty D and is mobile with and without the puck. She is a right-handed D that has versatile playing abilities, being reliable in all 3 zones and all situations. She controls and protects the puck well to maintain possession. Grade: B-
Ella Harding #96 (North York Storm U15AA, F, 2027) : Harding is an extremely hard worker in all areas of the ice, as she uses her great hands to be deceptive in the offensive zone. She has the potential to score highlight reel-type goals, while also being a relentless backchecker. Her complete, 200-foot game allows her to be frequently found in high-danger scoring areas for her teammates to set her up. Harding’s strong puck skills and speed help her create good scoring opportunities. Grade: B-
Samantha Staley #34 (North York Storm U15AA, F, 2027) : Staley is a hard worker who competes down low below the goal line for loose pucks. She frequently wins puck battles, while also having a strong hockey sense by getting open for her teammates. She additionally has a scoring touch around the net, having quick hands and snap shots in tight. Grade: C+

Elleh Frigui #97 (Oakville Hornets U15 AA, F, 2027) : Frigui uses her active stick to cause turnovers in the neutral zone. On the power play, her passes are on the tape, she gets body position on the forecheck to win pucks and create chances, and she unleashes snapshots from the high slot that challenge the goalie. She controls the puck with finesse in tight spots. Frigui has great hands which she showed off with a dangle past the D and pulled the tender sliding the puck past a stretched out pad. She gets herself into scoring places, looks for scoring spots and lets off a quick hard shot. Her team entrusted her to take a penalty shot which the tender stopped. Grade: A
Jamie Theron #34 (Oakville Hornets U15 AA, F, 2028) (F, 2028): Theron is successful in the faceoff circle, winning draws cleanly to start the play with possession. Her size and speed enable her to make smooth zone entries to create chances. She controls the puck with poise to gain areas and set up to rip quick snap shots on goal. Theron has good speed on the rush and is a creative playmaker. She battles along the boards, moves to find the shooting lanes and threads passes in the offensive zone. Her team entrusted her to take a penalty shot which the tender stopped. Grade: A-
Chloe Smith #89 (Oakville Hornets U15 AA, G, 2027) : Smith is an agile tender who gets out on pucks in the scramble. She punches blocker saves wide, seals the posts well and reacts with quick legs. She uses small movements to stay with the deke and shut down 3 penalty shots in this very tight game. Grade: A-
Emily Baker #24 (Oakville Hornets U15 AA, F, 2028) : Baker is diverse in the face-off circle, winning pucks back to defenders and forward to herself taking the puck to the net for a scoring chance. She has a solid wrist shot that challenges goaltenders. Her team entrusted her to take a penalty shot which she scored on by deking the tender. Grade: B+
Olivia Blue #27 (Oakville Hornets U15 AA, F, 2027) : Blue, a good sized forward, makes smooth passes to the point. She gets to open spaces and is ready for any opportunities. She battles along the boards. She controls and handles the puck with poise to drive the net and make a pass on the tape to an open linemate for chances. Grade: B+
Lauren Kruzel #44 (Oakville Hornets U15 AA, F, 2027) : Her on-ice presence is characterized by her size, providing a physical advantage in various aspects of play. Ariah McGill #23 (Mississauga Hurricanes U15AA, D, 2028) : McGill, a feisty defender, uses her good size and active stick to guide opponents into position to take the body. Her long stride generates the speed to exit the zone and stay focused on the puck as she moves into the attacking end to drive the net and create chances. Her passes are crisp and on target. She works the top on the powerplay and moves the puck with precision. Her slap shot from the point gets through traffic to create chances. Grade: B-
Carrington Reipas #33 (Oakville Hornets U15 AA, D, 2027) : Reipas uses her speed to join the rush as an option and gets back quickly to defend. Anasraslia Skorokhod #55 : Skorokhod has good size and is strong on the puck. She controls and handles the puck with poise to gain the zone and makes crisp smooth passes. Skorokhod plays with a calm demeanor and a good sense of space and speed on the ice. As space allowed to took the puck on an end-to-end rush. She holds the blue line in the offensive zone. Defensively she has an active stick, controls the Gap, and pins players out along the boards. Grade: B-
Abby Mulcahy #88 (Oakville Hornets U15 AA, F, 2027) : Mulcahy is always moving and is not afraid to mix it up at the net front on both ends. Offensively she battles for position, creates screens and gets her stick on point shots for tips. Defensively she finds the lanes and blocks shots. With her feet always moving she draws penalties and is an effective backchecker.

Margaret Young #55 (Ottawa Lady 67’s U15AA, D, 2027) : Young looks and reads plays well. She moves the puck well with her partner on the blueline and hits backdoor passes. In the DZ she controls the Gap well and keeps the attack wide and pinning players on the boards. She is an effective penalty killer, finding gaps and clearing pucks. Grade: B+
Memphis Silverson #61 (Ottawa Lady 67’s U15AA, D, 2027) : Silverson shows her strength through tough net front battles(win position and stick control). On the PK she moves like a piston keeping attackers wide and recovering to the slot. Grade: B+

Emma McLaughlin #10 (Ottawa Lady 67’s U15AA, F, 2028) : McLaughlin shows good passing ability in all areas of the ice, whether it is in the defensive zone for a breakout pass, or a 2-on-1 rush play. She has a high hockey IQ and awareness for her teammates while on the ice, and is able to make tape-to-tape passes with ease. Grade: B
Quinn Toll #12 (Toronto Leaside Wildcats BAA, F, 2027) : Toll possesses a powerful shot and can get shots off in a quick manner off the fly. The right-handed forward can pull the puck into her body and really rip it toward the net. This leads her to create many scoring chances for her and her team. Through her quick hands and agile skating ability, she is one of Ottawa’s top offensive threats on a shift-to-shift basis. Toll controls the puck well to deke through opponents and get pucks to the net. She finds space and walks the seams to the net effectively getting both forehand and backhand shots on net. Grade: B

Also, she plays both ends of the ice hard through a high compete and battle level. Wightman is a skilled skater who evades attackers with tight turns and puck control. Mallea McMullin #4 (Ottawa Lady Senators U15AA, D, 2027) : McMullin is an extremely smart player with and without the puck. Her feet are always moving as she finds the soft ice in all the zones, always trying to be an option for her teammates. She confidently skates with the puck and makes crisp tape to tape passes when necessary and knows when she can beat a defender wide for a scoring opportunity. a forward with a lot of energy when chasing down the puck, she is a solid puck carrier with a fast stride. Smart in the passes she makes, and is driven with the puck. Grade: B–
Scarlett Johnson #6 (Ottawa Lady Senators U15AA, F, 2027) : Johnson showed stunning patience on the powerplay as she let two defenders fly by her as she faked a shot, and then slid a pass to her teammate in the slot.Johnson is an agile and fluid skater who is constantly adjusting her positioning to support teammates, always staying open to the play. Tessa Hubbard #8 (Ottawa Lady Senators U15AA, D, 2027) : Hubbard puts herself in great positions to rub players out along the wall, take the puck away, and make tape to tape passes to her wingers in the defensive zone. Grade: B-
Alessia Longo #9 (Ottawa Lady Senators U15AA, F, 2028) : Longo is a solid body that you want in front of the net to screen the goalie on a powerplay. She does not get knocked around easily, and when there is a loose puck in front, she is determined to recover or capitalize on it. Grade: B-
Olivia Dorken #11 (Ottawa Lady Senators U15AA, F, 2027) : Dorken caused a juicy turnover in the offensive zone due to her persistent pressure and capitalized on the other teams mistake by ripping a shot past their goalie. Grade: B-

Brooke Glynn #14 (Ottawa Lady Senators U15AA, F, 2027) : Glynn protects the puck well using her frame and size and can create her own space when pinned against the wall. Glynn has a jump in her step to create speed on the rush and net drive. Grade: B-

Landyn Mahoney #11 (Peterborough, F, 2027) : Mahoney is a natural playmaker who looks to make unselfish plays and passes to her linemates. She willingly uses her defenders on the point to get shots through from distance and battles hard in front to gain inside positioning. She can also score with her great shot and quick release through screens. Grade: A-
Audrey Martone #90 (Peterborough, F, 2027) : Martone is an offensive player who is a good skater and gets many breakaways. She possesses a smart hockey IQ to easily get behind defenders, then she allows her quick hands, agility and shiftiness to score goals. The right-handed forward is skilled and slick, having a great backhand shot as well. Martone made space for herself in the slot and put one home with a quick-release snap shot. Grade: A-
Ashlea Whyte #7 (Peterborough, F, 2027) : Whyte can protect the puck very well down low along the walls and move her feet quickly to evade checks from oncoming opposing attackers. She is a natural goal scorer who has a knack of finding the soft areas of the ice to potentially score. She has a great shot and can score in tight with quick hands. Whyte drives the net with purpose and pose, she picked-up a rebound and walks around the sliding tender to light the lamp. Grade: A-
Alexa Strano #24 (Peterborough, F, 2028) : Strano generates speed on the rush and protects the puck well to get shots on. She changed speed on the entry of the zone to beat the D and tucked a tight shot past the tender short side. Strano angles players out along the boards and comes out with the puck. Grade: B+
Emily Fleming #1 (Peterborough, G, 2027) : Fleming challenges top of crease and holds the challenge on net drives. She gets out of loosepucks and tight shots, taking away the shot angle and holding rebounds. Fleming made a big save on a breakaway that got a reaction from the bench and crowd. Grade: B
Sienna Weekes #5 (Peterborough, F, 2028) : Weekes dangles in tight creating great scoring opportunities. She scored with a quick shot jumping on a rebound in the slot. Grade: B
Lillian Newmaster #6 (Peterborough, D, 2027) : Newmaster is a mobile, right-handed defender who can skate in a smooth manner. She is an effective skater because she has quick crossovers and a nice, hard, strong stride up the ice. Newmaster prototects the puck to maintain possession and moves the puck well with her D partner. She holds the blue line with timely checks. Grade: B-
Ella Watson #9 (Peterborough, D, 2027) : Watson is an agile skater who makes clean passes on the forehand and backhand. Grade: B-
Avery Mann #10 (Peterborough, F, 2027) : Mann is really aggressive on the puck, she is good at angling. Mann makes tape-to-tape passes through the NZ. She jumps on rebounds, putting a sweet backhander on net. Grade: B-
Kenzie Moore #17 (Peterborough, D, 2027) : Moore takes away space from offenders causing turnovers and sloppy plays. She supports her D partner with behind the net passes and hindging in the regroup. Grade: B-
Grace Plunkett #55 (Peterborough, F, 2027) : Plunkett works the cycle and goes to the net, getting shots on. Grade: B-
Lily Latchford #71 (Peterborough, D, 2027) : Latchford is a great defender who can shoot the puck hard from the point, getting pucks on the net from any distance. She can also score from the point as well, which is an ability that is not too common in the U15 age group. She is a hard worker and smooth skater who has strong backward crossovers to pick up speed. Latchford is a strong skater with good lateral mobility. She makes space for herself with tight turns and an accelerating stride. Latchford angles out players and steals the puck and looks for opportunities to jump into the offense. Grade: B-
Ella Lewington #77 (Peterborough, F, 2027) : Her intensity goes up a notch when she is in the offensive zone and she loves to have the puck on her stick. She has the ability to walk in and create space with the combination of her good edge work and quick hands. Lewington also has a quick release. She is more quick in the D zone but she will back check hard if the game is close. (oct 22)Lewington is an agile player with strong puck skills, she protects the puck on net drives and smoothly works the cycle. Grade: B-

Rachel Steward #35 (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers U14, F, 2027) : Steward has a good touch around the net, burying a few and setting a few up as well. She drove the off-wing to snap a rocket top glove and light the lamp against Central York and slid a smooth pass to 16 to set up a second goal. In another game, she took the puck to the slot to rifle a wrist shot blocker side to bury another. Steward uses her active stick to apply pressure on the backcheck and frustrate opponents. She consistently wins draws cleanly to start the play with possession. Steward’s skating agility and puck control elevate her game. She dangles and accelerates away from pressure and protects the puck on the net drive. With heads up all the way she dangled past the defender, opened up the goaltender and slid it home 5-hole. On her second goal of the game, she got herself in one on one with the tender, deked and let off a very quick shot under the bar. Grade: A-
Allyson Dembzynski #16 (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers U14, F, 2027) : Dembzynski has a nice scoring touch. She took the puck to the net from the corner to bury a backhander against Central York. Dembzynski received a pass in the slot to snap it stick side and complete the catch and release to light the lamp for a second goal against Central York. Dembzynski won a great puck battle along the boards and walked out of the corner beating a defender to create a great scoring chance. Grade: B
Ella Rajnys #30 (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers U14, G, 2027) : Rajnys holds her ground through traffic. She holds onto chest shots and cleanly punches pucks wide with her blocker. Rajnys sets pucks up for defenders to start the breakout. Grade: B
Isabelle Li #0 (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers U14, F, 2027) : Li quickly picks up loose pucks off the faceoff to drive the net for shots on goal. Her net presence allows her to quickly release quality shots on goal. She battles hard in all situations. On the backcheck, Li takes the open player and uses her active stick to deny any chances. Grade: B-
Alika Li #1 (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers U14, D, 2027) : Li controls the GAP and standsplayers up at the blue line. She has a solid point shot with a quick release that created some scoring chances. Grade: B-
Caroline Coen #9 (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers U14, F, 2028) : Coen is a versatile player, playing D in this game where she distributed the puck well with her partner and got shots on the net from the point. She moves fluidly laterally to stay with 1v1s and comes across the blue line to find shot lanes. Grade: B-
Juliette Lebel #15 (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers U14, D, 2027) : Lebel is a smooth skater with a strong stride that enables her to weave through the opposition with the puck and gain the zone to start the attack. Her strong stride also generates the speed and acceleration to pull away from opponents for breakaway opportunities. Defensively, she applies pressure on the backcheck to frustrate opposition attacks. Lebel has a quick first few steps to separate herself from pressure. With agile skating and good puck control she protects the puck going to the net and gets shots on net. Grade: B-
Madeline Allen #23 (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers U14, F, 2027) : Her proficiency in winning draws cleanly provides her team with a possession advantage. Her precise and on-target passes not only facilitate smooth puck movement but also create numerous scoring opportunities. Her ability to force errors on the forecheck often disrupts opponents and generates turnovers. Her determination and focus on the puck, combined with her skill in getting her stick in the passing lanes when backchecking, make her a formidable force on both ends of the ice. Her willingness to drive hard to the net with her stick ready for opportunities showcases her offensive instincts and readiness to capitalize on scoring chances. She consistently maintains a high level of intensity. Allen provides her team with some intense puck pursuit. She makes accurate crisp passes in all zones and scored on a quick-release snipper of a shot from the high slot. Grade: B-
Ann Bernard #88 (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers U14, D, 2027) : Bernard moves the puck smoothly with her partner and gets point shots on the net. She controls the GAP when defending, holding players up at the circles on the rush. Grade: B-
Allison Sha #8 (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers U14, F, 2027) : Sha finds lanes to the net and gets pucks on. She controls the puck well and makes accurate passes with teammates. Defensively, she uses stick checks to steal pucks.
Pittsburgh Pens Elite 14U
Amanda King #33 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, F, 2027) : King is a dominant player who comes alive when anything offensive is happening. She has fantastic hands that leave her opponents looking silly, a strong frame that gives her an edge when protecting the puck, and an excellent hard shot that she should use more often. Her mentality to score comes in handy when they need that push, but she should work on using her teammates more to create better chances and to know that she does not have to do it alone. Grade: A-
Mia Monaco #58 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, D, 2027) : Monaco is a vocal, mobile, large defense on the blue line who can walk the line well with her head up the whole time, patiently waiting for a lane to pass, shoot, or skate into. Grade: B+
Sienna Suisham #25 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, D, 2027) : Suisham is a smooth backwards skater that easily takes time and space away from her opponents due to her impressive gap control and ability to quickly move laterally across the ice. Grade: B-
Chloe Lundy #28 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, F, 2027) : Lundy is a strong forward with smooth hands in tight areas. She dangled around two defenders at the hash marks and dished the puck to her open defenceman, creating a rebound opportunity for her. Grade: B-
Brooklyn Ligda #38 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, F, 2028) : Ligda does an excellent job at picking pucks up off the wall and either dishing to her center, taking the open ice, or chipping it by their defenceman to transition her team to offense. Grade: B-
Mia Grasser #98 (Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U14, F, 2029) : Grasser is a gritty player that does not shy away from doing the dirty work in the corners to give her line a chance for a scoring opportunity. Grade: B-

Alexa O’Neill #13 (Rochester Jr. Amerks U14 Tier 1, D, 2027) : O’Neill stayed focused on the puck to bury a sweet rebound goal against Scarborough. Her passes are smooth and on the tape. Grade: B-
Makenzie Beale #16 (Rochester Jr. Amerks U14 Tier 1, F, 2027) : Beale uses her size to her advantage to secure loose pucks and rip wrist shots on goal. Grade: C+
Saugeen Maitland U15AA
Tava Lester #14 (Saugeen Maitland Lightning U15AA, F, 2027) : Lester forechecks with speed and intent and causes turnovers. She pressured the D on the forecheck, stick-checked and stole the puck, walked the goal line seam and quickly released a snapshot under the blocker for a goal. Grade: B
Emry Dalcourt #16 (Saugeen Maitland Lightning U15AA, F, 2028) : Dalcourt is a 200-foot player that competes hard in all 3 zones. She is an energy player who also possesses some good puck skills. Her hands in tight are quick, and she makes smart decisions when driving the net and forechecking to apply pressure on opposing defenders. Grade: B
Danielle Brown #29 (Saugeen Maitland Lightning U15AA, F, 2027) : Brown scored two nice goals against Windsor, using her shot to her advantage to beat the goalie from the hash marks. She is able to use her high-level hockey IQ to get around defenders, and use her quick stick to steal loose pucks away from opposing team defenders. She is willing to use a versatile usage of shots as well, getting both wrist shots and backhanders on the net from any location of the ice. Grade: B
Danielle Wilkie #12 (Saugeen Maitland Lightning U15AA, F, 2027) : Wilkie battles in all areas of the ice, and competes for every loose puck. Her stick skills, whether it is her stickhandling or stick-lifting ability, are noticeable. She plays with pace and helps her team gain momentum when she makes good defensive zone plays, such as backchecking hard and breaking up 3-on-2 plays. Wilkie is a two way player. Taking players shoulder to shoulder on the back check and causing commotion in the opponent’s slot. She scored a goalmouth scramble goal by battling for position and sticking with a bouncing puck. Grade: B-
Taylor Gibson #17 (Saugeen Maitland Lightning U15AA, D, 2027) : Gibson keeps a tight GAP getting up on the attack quickly. She is patient in her decision-making and positions herself well to interfere with the attack, angling and stick-checking to stop the attack. Grade: B-
Leah Milligan #22 (Saugeen Maitland Lightning U15AA, D, 2027) : Milligan is a smart, stay-at-home defender who takes care of her net well by boxing out opposing forwards who are looking to gain inside positioning. She is hard to play against and is not afraid to engage physically when needed. She additionally makes good passes to her wingers, helping her team break out well. Milligan effectively angles and ties up her check along the board nullifying the rush. She slides into the attack in the offensive zone, scoring a back door goal off a rebound. Grade: B-
Brette Stewart #27 (Saugeen Maitland Lightning U15AA, F, 2028) : Stewart battles in corners and net front. She gained positioning at the post and battled to keep it, banging at the puck and popping home a goal. Grade: B-
Kennedy Brooks #98(Saugeen Maitland Lightning U15AA, D): Brooks is able to get shots through from the point and miss the shin pads in front of her. She is additionally able to keep pucks in at the blue line and help her team sustain offensive zone/puck possession time. Brooks gets off hard low point shots on net. She makes crisp tape-to-tape outlet passes. Her agile skating skills help her to contain opponents and evade pressure in her own end. Grade: B-
Kennedy O’Brien #21 (Saugeen Maitland Lightning U15AA, F): O’Brien gets points shot on net. She gets low shots on net that helps create offense with rebounds and seeing if the goalie makes a mistake. Grade: B-

Riley Pettit #15 (Sault Ste. Marie Wildcats BAA, F, 2027) : Petit is a good scoring forward who has a solid hockey IQ in and around the net. She scored the teams lone goals in both the Kitchener and Clarington games, showing how she rises to the occasion when her team is depending on her to produce. She has a quick shot and release on net, as she is able to willingly get to the middle of the ice to optimize her chances of ripping the puck past the opposing teams goalie. Pettit battles hard and has lethal shooting skills on the fly. She keeps possession and moves the puck along the boards. With accelerating speed, she walked out of the corner and sniped a top-shelf goal. She repeatedly drives the net scoring another goal with a one-timer from a cross-ice pass. Her shots are hard with a quick release that catches goaltenders off guard. Grade: A-
Cassidy Cooke #31 (Sault Ste. Marie Wildcats BAA, G, 2027) : Cooke has great vertical reach with her pads making several saves with stretched-out legs. She sits tall in the butterfly, slides square and holds high shots on her body. Cooke battles well through traffic and is solid on 1v1s, getting out on turnovers to take the shooting angle away. Grade: B+
Alexis Esposito #9 (Sault Ste. Marie Wildcats BAA, F, 2027) : Esposito is a solid forward with strong tape-to-tape passing skills. She drives the net with strong puck protection skills and gets shots on repeatedly. Grade: B
Nikki Steinberg #2 (Sault Ste. Marie Wildcats BAA, D, 2028) : Steinberg is a versatile defender that plays both sides of the puck well. She can defend during odd-man rushes well, and her active stick helps her pick-off/intercept passes across the ice. She plays with her head up and passes it up to any player ahead of her, reflecting her unselfishness and team-first approach to the game. Grade: B-
Myla Meakin #5 (Sault Ste. Marie Wildcats BAA, D, 2027) : Meakin is a steady D who makes tape-to-tape passes to board outlets, distributes the puck well with her D partner, pinches effectively to keep the attack alive and gets shots on net. Grade: B-
Meadow Woods #6 (Sault Ste. Marie Wildcats BAA, D, 2027) : Woods is a puck-moving defender who plays with her head up. She is always looking to make the next play, and she is always scanning her options on who to advance the puck forward to. With this, her on-ice awareness is strong and clear, showing that she can find open wingers on the breakout and help her team play with pace. Grade: B-
Haylee Lecuyer #8 (Sault Ste. Marie Wildcats BAA, F, 2028) : Her patience in her own zone created many clean breakouts as she carried the puck with poise, waiting for a teammate to find the soft ice to dish a pass to. a good winger with a good hockey iq- she looks to take off as a weak side winger, and clearly communicated to her teammates. She brings work ethic when she put forth effort to both backcheck and forecheck with purpose. Her current skill set will help her develop into a strong winger, whose strong on and off puck. Lecuyer pulled a toe drag to freeze the D followed by a quick release shot on net. Grade: B-
Addyson Atkinson #10 (Sault Ste. Marie Wildcats BAA, D, 2028) : A defenceman with a good vision of the ice while handling the puck, she is quick to move it up ice, and reacts well off faceoffs. She is good at recognizing when to switch and cover partner, in the d zone she is good between board and net front transitions Atkinson positions herself well to support pressure in the neutral zone and efficiently moves the puck with her partner to regroup and restart the attack. Grade: B-
Ashlyn Kobzick #13 (Sault Ste. Marie Wildcats BAA, F, 2027) : Kobzick’s strong puck skills and solid skating enable her to protect the puck well on the net drive. While fighting off a tight check she drove the net and picked under the tenders blocker for a goal. Grade: B-
Victoria Elliot #16 (Sault Ste. Marie Wildcats BAA, F, 2028) : Elliot plays the game with tenacity and pace. She is relentlessly applying pressure to the opposing team’s defenders, and it helps her team cause takeaways and increase their puck possession time. She forces defenders to give the puck away and rush their decisions. With the puck, she controls it well and uses her body to protect it down low from attackers. Her tenacious skating and speed provides a great forecheck that causes turn-overs and very effectively kills a good portion of a power play. Grade: B-
Ava Nolan #7 (Sault Ste. Marie Wildcats BAA, D, 2028) : Nolan is a strong defense who holds the offensive blue line well, making it hard for the opposition to have a clean breakout. Grade: C+

Avery Horst #18 (Scarborough Sharks BAA, F, 2027) : Horst frequently wins faceoff battles to start the play with possession. She gets in quickly on the forecheck to disrupt the D and force errors that lead to turnovers. On the backcheck, she applies pressure and support. Her passes are crisp and on target to create opportunities. Grade: B+
Hailey Punchard #4 (Scarborough Sharks BAA, D, 2027) : Punchard is a stay-at-home defender who makes safe plays. She picks up the open player, clears the front, and makes smooth passes on the tape. The defender takes the body and battles hard below the red line. Grade: B-
Faith Boosalis #13 (Scarborough Sharks BAA, F) : Boosalis forced errors on the forecheck to create a turnover that led to a goalmouth scramble where she jammed one home to light the lamp. Grade: B-
St. Louis Lady Blues 14U
Audrey Bauer #24 (St. Louis Lady Blues U14, F, 2028) : Bauer is a good skater who can shoot the puck in different ways, whether it would be a wrist shot, quick backhander or deke in front of the goal. She makes great passes to the slot area of the offensive zone and competes hard for loose pucks in the corners. Grade: B-
Payton Adams #29 (St. Louis Lady Blues U14, G, 2027) : Adams kept her team in the game with key saves. Adams stands tall in the crease and gets square to shooters. She has good anticipation to get out on shots, and take away shooting angles. Adams quickly covers loose pucks in traffic. She was a difference maker in this game. Grade: B-
Ryann Kaufman #93 (St. Louis Lady Blues U14, D, 2028) : Kaufman uses her stick well by placing it in the passing lanes and by keeping it close to her body to surprise opponents with a poke check. Her gap control is solid as she works to stop the opponent before her blue line. Grade: B-
Aubrey Proetz #13 (St. Louis Lady Blues U14, D, 2028) : Proetz is a stay-at-home defender who makes good breakout passes and holds a good gap between her and opposing forwards. She plays with her head up and makes good passing decisions with the puck. Grade: C+
Mackinzey Bridges #20 (St. Louis Lady Blues U14, F) : Bridges does not move a lot in her zone, she stays calm and tries to get in the shooting lanes but she gives her opponent maybe a bit too much time. Grade: C+
Chandler Seeger #25 (St. Louis Lady Blues U14, F, 2028) : Her strength is her physicality. She knows she will not beat anyone with her speed so she uses her strength to win battles, to take away pucks. Seeger has an excellent hard point shot that creates juicy rebounds when it gets through. Grade: C+
Rylee Fahs #44 (St. Louis Lady Blues U14, D, 2027) : Fahs plays hard down low and competes hard for loose pucks. She is relentless in making hard-working plays, and helps her team sustain momentum during games. Grade: C+
Morgan Hollenberg #73 (St. Louis Lady Blues U14, G, 2027) : Hollenberg competes between the pipes and does not give up on any play. She slides well from post to post and can sprawl out to make great glove saves in-tight. Grade: C+
St. Catharines U15AA
Grace Robitaille #70 (St. Catharines Brock BAA, G, 2027) : With a flexible butterfly and good agility to get out on shots, Robitaille was a difference-maker in this game(vs Philadelphia). She plays the puck by setting it up for defenders. Grade: A-
Lily Middaugh #29 (St. Catharines Brock BAA, G, 2028) : Middaugh is a steady tender, redirecting shots to the corners and holding any shots on. She has quick leg reactions and adjusts her challenge to get out on slot shots. Grade: B
Daniella Beaupit #7 (St. Catharines Brock BAA, F, 2027) : Beaupit is a good passer and possesses great offensive instincts. The left-handed forward can hold and shield the puck from opposing defenders, and then drive the net hard. She is skilled around the net and can get many shots on the net throughout games. She is also not afraid to be unselfish and pass to her open teammates in the slot, as she is a key force in producing offense for St. Catharines. Grade: B-
Meghan Seider #9 (St. Catharines Brock BAA, F/D, 2027) : Seider is a complete player that plays a full, 200-foot game. She does not cheat for offense, and ensures her net is taken care of first before she goes to the offensive side of the puck. She scored a great goal against New Jersey, showing poise, skill and power within her shot. Grade: B-
Megan Clark #13 (St. Catharines Brock BAA, F/D, 2027) : Clark is a hard working, small body D with quick feet. She can find open space to shoot, she is patient and her shot is accurate when she has time. Clark is a good skater who can skate into prime areas to shoot the puck and generate offensive plays for her team. Clark has good hustle and a second speed to win foot races. She gets point shots on net. Grade: B-
Nicole Carter #16 (St. Catharines Brock BAA, F, 2027) : Carter loves to have the puck on her stick in the offensive zone. She has silky mitts and can pull off nasty moves. If she has no option, she will protect the puck using her body and her edges until she finds one. Carter has great puck protection skills and can use her body to shield the puck from the opposition when behind the goal line. She is a strong passer who uses her defenders often to get shot through from the point. She then fights hard to get inside positioning, showing fearlessness and good vision of the offensive zone. Grade: B-
Eve Dueck #17 (St. Catharines Brock BAA, F, 2027) : Dueck ties up on the face-off and provides strong back pressure. She likes to forecheck and backcheck which we liked to see. Grade: B–
Sofia Van Dalen #19 (St. Catharines Brock BAA, D, 2028) : Van Dalen can shoot the puck well from the point and get shots through. She has the potential to score from any distance in the offensive zone. Van Dalen is steady, controlling the GAP on the rush, initiating regroups on neutral zone turnovers with crisp D to D and outlet passes. Grade: B-
Madelyn DesRoches #42 (St. Catharines Brock BAA, F, 2028) : DesRoches shows hockey IQ with her ability to anticipate and intercept passes. She causes turn-overs in the neutral zone and gets her team going with tape-to-tape passes. Once in the Ozone she gets pucks on the net. Grade: B-
Addison Allen #15 (St. Catharines Brock BAA, D, 2028) : Allen sees the game well, she can find her open teammate but her passes are not strong enough to get the play going. It is impressive how she gets by despite not having the best footwork/speed/agility. Grade: C+
Sophie Cook-Francis #44 (St. Catharines Brock BAA, D, 2028) : Cook is an active D who comfortably carries the puck into the zone to start the play and jumps into offensive opportunities. Defensively she boxes players out to protect her tender and allow her sight line to the puck.
Stoney Creek U15AA
Charlee Love #44 (Stoney Creek Sabres U15 AA, D, 2027) : Love plays physically and does a good job pinning opponents on the penalty kill. She escapes pressure with good edgework to send a smooth pass to her partner for a regroup and zone exit. Love puts cross-ice passes on the tape. She drops in as an option on the attack. Her slap shot from the point gets through traffic and to the net for chances. Grade: B+
Lauren Muhn #3 (Stoney Creek Sabres U15 AA, D, 2028) : Muhn, a mobile, agile skater, is a calm puck-moving defender who patiently waits for the seams and lanes to open to send a crisp pass on the tape of an open teammate, send a smooth first pass to a winger to start the breakout, and move the puck back and forth smoothly with her partner. Grade: B-
Abigail Ste. Croix #17 (Stoney Creek Sabres U15 AA, D, 2028): Ste. Croix is a mobile defender who controls and handles the puck with poise as she weaves through the neutral zone to gain the attacking end. Her passes are crisp and on target. She set up her partner with a smooth pass for a high-light reel goal. Grade: B-
Ivy Johnston #22 (Stoney Creek Sabres U15 AA, F, 2028) : Johnston gets inside body position on the forecheck to separate the player from the puck, force errors, and cause turnovers. She drives hard to the net and uses her size to her advantage to protect the puck. She controls and handles the puck as she battles through coverage to get into position to fire a shot on goal. Her shot on a net drive created a rebound for Sayej to tap home. Grade: B-
Maya Hubbard #77 (Stoney Creek Sabres U15 AA, D, 2027) : Hubbard fires a rocket snap shot from the point to challenge goalies and create chances. The good-sized defender uses her agility as a skater to escape pressure and make an accurate pass. Her puck movement with her partner is smooth and precise. She pinches successfully to keep pucks in and maintain pressure. Grade: B-
Sudbury U15AA
Hannah Adler #27 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA, D, 2028) : Adler is a skilled defender who jumps into the attack. On the blue line, she quickly moves to the middle lane to get shots on. She stepped around pressure, took the lane to the net and hit the far side driving winger with a pass for the assist. She makes timely pinches to keep the attack going and distributes the puck well with her partner across the blue line. Grade: A-
Joanna Ajueze #2 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA, F, 2027) : Ajueze is a good forechecker and competes hard in all areas of the ice. Her positioning is strong in the D-zone, and can be seen as a reliable player in all situations (5-4, 5-5, 6-5, etc). She uses her quick skating to make opposing defenders rush their decisions with the puck, making them fumble it and potentially create an offensive team for her Sudbury linemates. Ajueze is a smooth skater with a powerful stride to pick up speed. She quickly takes away space on attackers whether it is the lane on the rush, or the boards on a pinch. Ajueze makes good decisions to control the space of her opponents and quickly distributes the puck to her teammates with tap-to-tape passes. Grade: B+
Lacey Rivers #19 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA, F, 2027) : Rivers has great puck control and a quick stick. She has skill in her game offensively and is able to compliment it through good D-zone positioning. Her turning and agility are second-to-none as well, frequently displaying elusive maneuvers, both with and without the puck. Rivers has strong puck-control skills. She won the corner battle, walked out and drove the net, pulling the goaltender for a pretty goal. Grade: B+
Alexa Labrecque #81 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA, D, 2027) : Labrecque is a rushing D with a good shot from the point that can get through high-traffic areas. She is strong on her skates and can score in a variety of ways, even as a defender. Labrecque moves the puck well with her partner, making crisp passes behind the net and to outlets. She plays a heads-up game and is aware of how to react to pressure on her. Grade: B+
Keanna Navarro #1 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA, G, 2028) : Navarro is technically strong and is able to go post-to-post very quickly, as she can recover effectively from rebound chances. She is always square to the puck positionally and can be seen playing with confidence between the pipes. Grade: B
Sadie Frantz #6 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA, F, 2028) : Frantz loves to get in the action with good hustle and physical play. She wins face-offs for her team, plays with her head up and has great hustle to win puck races. She drives the net and gets pucks to the net to create scoring opportunities. She scored with a net drive shot through traffic. Grade: B
Whitney Basso #7 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA, D, 2028): An aggressive d who can easily hold the line. She is quick to jump on pucks and is a steady puck handler. High IQ for her age, she makes good use of strategies to complete a play; use of glass, bumps, and cycles. Calm defense with a big impact. Basso is a great player with a rocket from the blue line. She walks the line very smoothly on the blue line during power plays, and is a reliable player when she is the last skater back. She additionally has the ability to shoot one-timers from the circle-dot on the powerplay. Grade: B
Sophie Gauld #11 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA, F, 2028) : Gauld skates well with a high degree of quickness and looks to make passes in an unselfish manner. She clearly is a team player, simply shown by her willingness to find her teammates with passes and move the puck up the ice. She is additionally a good forechecker while applying relentless pressure on opposing defenders, making them cough up the puck. Gauld is quick on loose pucks and wins foot races. She is quick to lose pucks in front of the net and gets rebound shots on the net. Grade: B
Paige Taylor #16 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA, D, 2028) : Strong D to D passing in all zones (behind the net, neutral zone regroup and offensive zone). She uses her teammates well to get up ice and keep possession of the puck for her team. Grade: B
Salo Leah #17 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA, F, 2027) : Leah is a strong skater who can change her speed to evade and beat opponents. She angles players in the neutral zone to slow the attack and cause turnovers. In the offensive zone, she controls the puck well to keep possession, drive the net and create good scoring chances. She has sweet hands in tight, forcing the tender to come up big. Grade: B
Olivia Carriere #41 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA) : Carriere is a confident defender who is not afraid to stand her ground on the blue line and in the neutral zone to break up the rush. She moves the puck well with her D partner across the blue line and gets point shots on. Grade: B
Isla Cirillo #14 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA, F, 2027) : Cirillo makes great moves to enter the offensive zone, and can make unselfish plays on 2-on-1s to set up her teammates for scoring chances. She is a hard-worker who competes hard in all areas of the ice, helping her team force turnovers and establish increased puck-possession time. Grade: B-
Isabella Perry #76 (Sudbury Lady Wolves BAA, F, 2027) : A good shot and quick to put herself in an open position, she recovers pucks well, while staying consistent in battles. Grade: B-
Team Illinois 14U
Cassidy Cha #26 (Team Illinois U14, F, 2028) : Cha is a skilled defender with strong skating and puck skills. Puck control, puck protection and the ability to change speeds on a dime gives her an element of surprise. She distributes the puck well with crisp passes to her partner and to the outlet. Cha is calm and plays with her head up. She accelerated off the point putting a solid back-hand shot on net. Finding open space, she put a hard low shot on the net that was tipped giving her the assist. Her evasive puck control along the board helped kill a penalty. Grade: A
Reagan McQuaid #14 (Team Illinois U14, D, 2027) : McQuaid makes tight turns with the puck to evade pressure in her zone and quickly finds outlet pass options hitting them with crisp passes. Grade: B+
Lina Alberts #19 (Team Illinois U14, F, 2028) : Alberts goes to the net with strong puck protection and gets shots on. She scored a deflection goal by driving the net with her stick ready on the power play. Grade: B+
Jillian Limb #24 (Team Illinois U14, F, 2028) : A defense who is calm and knows where to put the puck in the ozone, she uses her d partner and communicates well with her forwards. Accurate passing and a good shot from the point. She anticipates the play well, and is aggressive in keeping the puck in the zone. Her d zone is quick to jump on pucks and reads players well to box out of the house. Limb is a strong puck-controlling defenceman. She plays a patient and heads-up game allowing her to protect pucks and efficiently distribute to her partner in all zones with tape-to-tape passes. Great puck control helped kill a good portion of time on the penalty kill and produced good opportunities on the powerplay. Grade: B+
Neve Johnston #25 (Team Illinois U14, F, 2027) : Johnston attacks the net with speed. On the rush she drove the middle lane, making space for herself and putting a hard shot on net in stride scoring mid-blocker side. Grade: B
Cecilia Wielenberg #30 (Team Illinois U14, G, 2027) : Wielenberg has a top crease challenge and battles through traffic. She controls rebounds well, directing pucks wide and covering them up while quickly recovering for the next save. She challenges very well in traffic, taking control of her crease. Wielenberg has a tall post seal, taking away the upper corner and deflects passouts, taking away dangerous low slot opportunities. Grade: B+
Catherine Messersmith #6 (Team Illinois U14, D, 2027) : Messersmith closes the Gap well in the neutral zone and top of her zone to take away shooting options off the rush. She finds good passing lanes and makes crisp tap-to-tape passes on the breakout. Grade: B
Althea Kochowicz #71 (Team Illinois U14, F, 2027) : Kochowicz attacks the net with good puck control and gets pucks on net. She pulled a toe drag to step around the D then put a quality shot on net. Grade: B
Rose Gilligan #77 (Team Illinois U14, D, 2027) : Gilligan is physically strong with good mobility. She controls the Gap well and takes away offenders’ space with her body and stick. She is an evasive skater under pressure and makes tape-to-tape passes on the breakout and regroup. Grade: B
Paige Franzen #21 (Team Illinois U14, F, 2028) : Quick to move the puck and brings a lot of aggression to the face off, she blocks out her opponents with her body in order to protect the puck to give herself time to produce a play. Great awareness of the puck, solid forechecking f1&3 pick up. Grade: B-

Aoife Boyle #2 (Toronto Leaside Wildcats BAA, D, 2027) : Boyle plays with a calm demeanor, moving pucks behind the net with her D partner to set up the breakout and hit tape-to-tape outlet passes. Grade: B+
Chloe Zunn #16 (Toronto Leaside Wildcats BAA, F, 2027) : Zunn has a knack for getting pucks to the net. She drives wide and cuts back to the net getting shots on and creating good scoring chances multiple times. She found the back of the net in OT, driving wide and deep, cutting across the goal line and putting the shot under the bar from the goalline to win in OT. Grade: B+
Samantha Wong #18 (Toronto Leaside Wildcats BAA, D, 2027) : Wong is a patient and active defender who controls the GAP, angles and pins offenders to kill their rush. She turns tightly to evade pressure and walks into the space she is given then hits teammates with crisp and accurate passes. Wong quickly gets up on the play and often jumps into the attack taking the puck deep or to the net. Grade: B+
Jessica Bao #8 (Toronto Leaside Wildcats BAA, D, 2027) : Bao jumps into the attack with give and go passes and lets off solid point shots to create scoring chances. Grade: B
Zoe Ordanis #21 (Toronto Leaside Wildcats BAA, F, 2027) : Ordanis is a heads-up player who can move the puck. She set up the OT winner with a tape-to-tape pass in the NZ to send 16 1v1 into the zone. Grade: B
Lia Teal #24 (Toronto Leaside Wildcats BAA, D, 2028) : Teal is a quick skating D who can stay shoulder-to-shoulder with speedy wingers to keep them wide. She controls the puck well and distributes to D partners in all zones. Grade: B
Claire Hicks #30 (Toronto Leaside Wildcats BAA, G, 2027) : Hicks comfortably sets pucks up for defenders. She gets square to shots, holds a tight post seal on walk-ins, gloves low shots and stays tall in her butterfly to take away the upper portion of the net. Grade: B
Sarah Aquilina #77 (Toronto Leaside Wildcats BAA, D, 2028) : Aquilina is an agile skater with strong puck skills, she evades pressure with great puck protection and tight turns then hits teammates with tape-to-tape outlet passes. Grade: B

Elyse Harris #3 (Washington Pride U14, F/D, 2027) : Harris skates with power, she takes the lane to the net protecting the puck and getting shots on for some good scoring chances. Grade: B-
Hadley Kramer #11 (Washington Pride U14, D, 2027) : Kramer is a heads-up player who was consistently able to get the puck out of her own zone when hemmed in by the opposition. She uses her body well to get in the shooting lanes, to separate the player from the puck, and to protect the puck in battles. One the PK Kramer controls the boards with pins to the clock. Grade: B-
Clare Sullivan #12 (Washington Pride U14, F, 2028) : Sullivan anticipates the play well. Using an active stick and body position she routinely interrupts plays, not allowing the opponent to get a rhythm. Grade: B-
Lauren Smith #24 (Washington Pride U14, F, 2028) : A good skater, with a jump in her step. She is a fast skater and itches to get to the puck. She has good puck work down low, maintaining possession through sharp edges and quick directional change- enjoys setting up plays in the ozone with the use of her D. Smith generates effective speed on the rush to drive D back and make space for her net drive. Driving with speed she protected the puck on a net drive and got off a ripper of a shot forcing the tender to make a big save. Grade: B-
Maya Brenner #30 (Washington Pride U14, G, 2028) : She is small but can move well side to side, she stops and holds the puck but when faced with the opportunity she will activate to stop an icing. She looks around well, and sees her pointing to her D to pick up any threats at the net front. Brenner holds a crease challenge throughout play. She deflects passes from the goal line and holds all body shots. She tracks pucks well through traffic and is quick up and down. Grade: C+
Waterloo U15AA
Madelyn Davies #12 (Waterloo Ravens U15AA, F, 2028) : Davies is a quick player who has great offensive instincts. She scored 3 against St. Louis, all in differing and varying ways, demonstrating her offensive versatility. Grade: A-
Maya Slot #6 (Waterloo Ravens U15AA, F, 2027) : Slot is an offensive-minded player who can make good offensive zone passes and she uses her defenders at the blue line well to delegate pressure off herself. She gets nice shots on goal with her good wrist shot and she works hard to get inside positioning in front of the crease to bang in big rebounds. Grade: B+
Micah Carswell #14 (Waterloo Ravens U15AA, F, 2027) : Carswell is a great goal-scoring forward who possesses quickness and poise around the net. She can get herself available to receive passes from her linemates, then waste no time getting quick shots off and scoring. She is also able to get breakaways when she takes advantage of slow or flat-footed opposing team defenders. Her hat-trick against St. Louis was a great demonstration of her scoring ability. Grade: B
Emersyn Miller #16 (Waterloo Ravens U15AA, F, 2027) : Miller is a 2-way forward who works hard down low and skates relentlessly. She is quick on her feet and applies good pressure on the opposing teams defenders. She has good hands and can use them to her advantage to help her get around players and create space for herself to make passing plays with her linemates. Grade: B
Jessica Nevill #44 (Waterloo Ravens U15AA, D, 2028) : Nevill is an all-around good defender who brings both offense and defensive zone play to her team. She is able to get shots through to the net for rebounds, tips and deflections, while also being able to walk the line very well. She additionally is able to make good in-direct passes to her teammates, whether it would be a D-to-D pass behind the net, or bank-pass off the boards to her forwards along the walls. Grade: B-

Emily Wallace #11 (Whitby Wolves BAA, F, 2027) : Wallace is an offensive powerhouse scoring two very different goals, showcasing her wide range of abilities. She capitalizes on loose pucks in front of the net, and creates her own chances by taking the defenders wide and ripping one top shelf. Grade: B
Hayley Armstrong #19 (Whitby Wolves BAA, F, 2027) : Armstrong cleaned up her own end under heavy pressure by chipping past her defender on the wall, beating another one wide, and creating her own scoring opportunity with a solid shot on net. She can feel defenders on her hip and make the necessary evasive turn to create her own time and space. She is dominant in the faceoff circle and can sneak past their center to immediately transition her team to offense. Grade: B
Zoe Warner #76 (Whitby Wolves BAA, F, 2026) : Warner loves going to work in the dirty areas and with her grit and tenacity, she frequently wins those battles in the corners and along the boards. Grade: B
Brooke Croll #78 (Whitby Wolves BAA, F, 2028) : Croll is relentless on the forecheck and does an excellent job pressuring the defense, causing them to cough up the puck. She uses her quick hands in the offensive zone to then move the puck swiftly around and through defenders to create low 2 on 1s. Grade: B
April McCaughey #9 (Whitby Wolves BAA, D, 2028) : McCaughey has great gap control and pinches off the opposition before they cross her blue line, leaving them with no scoring opportunities and allowing her team to jump back onto offense. Grade: B-
Maddy Morgan #22 (Whitby Wolves BAA, D, 2027) : Morgan is a smart, reliable, and strong defense who takes care of her own end by consistently making crisp breakout passes to her winger on the wall, center in the middle, or to her winger cutting through the middle. Always has her head-up, looking for the best play to make to spend less time in her own zone and more in the offensive zone. Grade: B-
Windsor U15AA
Sofia Prokopetz #28 (Windsor BAA, F, 2027) : Prokopetz is a smart goal scorer who can find the prime areas of the offensive zone to score nice goals. She is quick and can get behind defenders through her strong skating and crossover ability. She is able to shoot through traffic and get shots off between the legs of defenders, making it incredibly challenging for opposing goaltenders to get read on her shots. Grade: B+
Ella Chan #16 (Windsor BAA, F, 2027) : Chan gets many chances on a shift-to-shift basis due to her high-level hockey IQ and quick decision-making with the puck. She battles hard in the corners, and oftentimes comes up with loose 50/50 pucks. Grade: B
Ashley Mongeau #2 (Windsor BAA, D, 2027) : A good skater who is constantly looking for a man to pick up, she showed great knowledge during a pk she was on for. Good reads 1v1 and pressures opponents well forcing them to the outside. Grade: B-
Teagan Audet #77 (Windsor BAA, F/D, 2027) : Audet can make nice passes to the slot and set her teammates up for prime scoring chances unselfishly. She looks to make nice passes in the offensive zone by keeping her head up, and ensuring she knows where everybody is on the ice. She additionally skates relentlessly on the forecheck, and is quick to lift the sticks of opposing defenders, stealing the puck away. Grade: B-
Aubrey Simetic #47 (Windsor BAA, G, 2027) : Played a good game, she stayed square to the puck and practiced good habits throughout all 3 periods of the game, posting up, keeping gloves present and tucked. A young goalie with great mobility and quick reactions to pucks in the house. Grade: C+
