
Our scouts made their way down to the south shore of Massachusetts to watch the Tenney Cup hosted by Duxbury HS. There were 3 days of action and we had eyes on all the games on December 26th and January 1st. Report is solely based on play from this tournament. Notre Dame Academy
#7, Right Shot, Forward : The best shooter in the tournament in our opinion. She has good hands to possess the puck and help her get her shot off the toe drag. She had a great shot in the Tenney Cup final that we wanted to shout out. She is a good shooter but also a good playmaker and likes to dish the puck around the offensive zone. A-
#16, Right Shot, Forward : #16 on NDA was one of the more skilled players in the tournament. She handled the puck well and used her hands to keep up with her quick feet and help her shoot off a toe drag. She has a quick shot and uses her edges to quickly find shooting areas and find time and space. She was a bit spotty at times and we are confident she will bring it each and every shift in the future. B+
#6, Right Shot, Forward : #6 on NDA is good positionally and was a true threat in the offensive zone. She works well with a playmaker due to her ability to put herself in a position to be a shooting threat. A skill we noticed was on and off the power play she will unload a one timer on net to create a scoring chance and rebound chance. B+
#12, Left Shot, Defense : #12 on NDA is a taller defenseman who is her best in the D zone. She has a good reach to poke pucks off the opposition’s stick and take away passing lanes. She is also very aggressive and battles hard along the boards to gain possession of the puck to help exit the zone. B
#9, Right Shot, Forward : #9 on NDA does a good job in the offensive zone. She always has her head up when she has the puck, looking to create offense by dishing the puck around to develop shots on net. B
#18, Right Shot, Defense : #18 on NDA is a taller player who plays at a quick pace to elevage herself against the opposition. She moves the puck well to her D partner and up ice to her teammates to get her team into the offensive zone. B
#13, Defense : #13 on NDA moves the puck real well to her teammates. She keeps the puck away from forecheckers and utilizes moving the puck to teammates well. She is poised with the puck and makes sure she is moving the puck to the best option in front of her. She moves well and with improved skating she will be even better. B
#3, Left Shot, Defense : #3 on NDA is a poised defender who moves the puck confidently in all areas of the ice. She likes to keep the puck out of trouble and make low risk plays. She is also good defensively and good one on one against the opposition. B
Braintree HS
Eva Surette (Braintree Wamps, G) : Eva was outstanding all weekend. She stole the first meeting against NDA and was pretty much equally as good in the final, even though the score finished at 3-0. She is square to pucks and seems to always come up with the big save when her team needs it most. A-
#22, Left Shot, Forward : #22 was possibly the fastest player in the tournament. When she has open ice she can blow by defense and beat anyone to loose pucks. She handles the puck well when she has it and likes to motor all around the ice. When she learns to shield pucks with her body and such, she will be even better. B+
#10, Left Shot, Forward : #10 got better in each game we saw her play. She handles the puck well and showed us her strong ability to shoot the puck. She wants the puck on her stick and shows us that by getting open in high danger areas. B
Duxbury HS
Megan Carney (Duxbury High School, F, 2025) : Megan is a taller forward who is good at all ends of the ice. She showed us how well of a shooter she is by scoring goals and making herself a threat by continuing to shoot at will. She is also good in the D zone by using her reach to block passes and stay strong on her coverages. A-
Zoey Madigan (Duxbury High School, F, 2025) : Zoey can bury the puck and fights for her success. She is a confident player when she has the puck to dangle and use her speed to get around the opposition. She is quick and handles the puck well when she is being quick which adds to her bag of tricks. A-
Maddie Greenwood (Duxbury High School, F, 2025) : Maddie is a grinder and high effort player. She forechecks hard and battles strong along the boards. She gets pucks to the net and we saw her efforts get rewarded with a goal. She has a hard wrister and slap shot that has potential to find the back of the net even more. B+
Anna McGinty (Duxbury High School, G, 2024) : Anna was a top 3 goalie in the tournament. She had a stunning save in the first period that was impressive to watch. She is part of the reason for duxburys success this year due to her consistency in net. B+
Addy Harrington (Duxbury High School, F, 2026) : Addy is a well positioned player who we assume is easy to coach since she is always in a good spot on the ice. She is a taller forward who showed us she can bury. She is a good skater who has a strong and balanced stride. B
Maeve Gallagher (Duxbury High School, F) : Maeve is good in the offensive zone. All of her qualities translate well for the offensive zone. She handles the puck well and has good hands to find time and space for herself to make plays. Her quick hands allow her to make enough time to make smart passes that create dangerous scoring chances. B
Camryn Holloway (Duxbury High School, D) : Camryn is a consistent defender who does the little things well. She battles for pucks to win possession of the puck so that she can move it up ice. She always has her head up and passes the puck well. B
Reese Porter (Duxbury High School, F, 2024) : Reese is a selfless player. She is good on the rush to set up teammates to open up shooting lanes. She utilizes drop passes and plays at a good pace. She handles the puck well and can handle it for longer due to using her body to shield pucks and find more players to dish to. B
Archbishop Williams
Emily Fleming (Archbishop Williams Bishops, F) : Emily is hungry for pucks and forechecks with high effort. She got rewarded for her efforts with a goal which is nice to see. She is vocal on the ice and really leads by example with her high motor. B
Caroline Batchelder (Archbishop Williams Bishops, F) : Caroline is a hard working player who wants to win games. She ups the flow of the game with her intensity and pace of play. She likes to dish the puck to her teammates to create offense but she does have an ability to score which she showed us on day 1. B
Aliya Greenwood (Archbishop Williams Bishops, D) : Aliya is a confident defender who can rush the puck up ice and play strong. She has a strong balanced stride to move up ice and battles hard along the boards to win pucks for her team. B-
Hingham HS
Caroline Doherty (Hingham Harborwomen, F, 2025) : Caroline is a solid all around player. She skates well with and without the puck and gets shots on net. She was rewarded with a goal in game 1. She is tenacious on every shift and has a good shot that is accurate and quick with potential of being an elite scorer in this league. B+
Shea Richardson (Hingham Harborwomen, D) : Shea is an impressive defenseman as a freshman. She is fearless one on one with the puck and will take on any player on the ice. She will rush it up ice if needed and likes to create offense with her skating ability. B+
Callie Crean (Hingham Harborwomen, F) : Callie is a hard working freshman who brings it each and every shift. She forechecks hard for loose pucks and is on you tight to make you make a mistake. She has a high motor and moves well with the puck on her stick. B
reese Pompeo (Hingham Harborwomen, F) : Reese hounds the net and is a relentless hard worker. Her high motor is fun to watch and she really puts all her efforts into each shift. She definitely leads by example as captain. B
Hannah Lasch (Hingham Harborwomen, F) : Hannah is strong on pucks and uses her body to keep possession of pucks and to separate pucks from the other team. She is strong along the boards and is always moving to shooting areas to create offense. B-
Bishop Feehan
Alison Stiles (Bishop Feehan Shamrocks, F) : Alison is a senior captain who is selfless with the puck. She has her head up at all times to make plays up ice and to break the puck out. If pressure is on her, she has good feet to escape away and continue the play up ice. B
Brenna Vitelli (Bishop Feehan Shamrocks, D, 2025) : Brenna likes to send hard passes to her teammates. She has her head up looking for the open player. Defensively she is good one on one and will break up pretty much every scoring threat. B
Caitlin Kelley (Bishop Feehan Shamrocks, F, 2024) : Caitlin does the little things well. She is well positioned and makes herself available for passes. She handles the puck well and makes sure she possesses it longer by using her body to shield the puck away from the opposition. B-
Georgia Murray (Bishop Feehan Shamrocks, D) : Georgia is a skilled player who has good hands. She can make plays with the puck and take on any player one on one. Improved IQ with moving the puck will help her game greatly and we are confident it will come. B-
Grace Campbell (Bishop Feehan Shamrocks, D) : Grace is a taller forward who utilizes it well to bully herself into high danger and traffic areas. She is good in front of the net for tips and screening. She is also strong along the boards. B-
