Muskegon 3 vs. Chicago 1
This was a fast pace game with plenty of scoring opportunities from both teams with some great goaltending at both ends. Jack Badini scored the first goal off a 2v1 for Chicago, scoring top shelf on Petruzzelli. Muskegon responded with three unanswered goals by Howdeshell, Van Wyhe and Svechnikov. Svechnikov had the game winner on a nice deke on Rasmussen. Chicago went 0 for 7 on the power play failing to score, but it wasn’t for a lack of opportunities.
