
From Friday February 21st to Sunday February 23d the Western Hockey League hosted the first ever WHL US Bantam Cup Challenge in Kent Washington. With the goal of exposing Western and Southern US hockey prospects to WHL opportunities. 12 teams were invited to participate; seven from the US and another five from British Columbia. Neutral Zone had a scout in attendance at this inaugural event.
US teams competing were: Los Angeles Junior Kings, Phoenix JR. Coyotes, San Diego Saints, San Jose Jr. Sharks, Seattle Admirals, Team Alaska 14U, Dallas Stars Elite, In addition to British Columbia teams . . .
