
This game was played September 25th: In the first period the Carleton Place Canadians dominated puck possession while the Pembroke Lumber Kings focused on winning battles and a quick transition game. The teams exchanged goals and head into intermission 1-1.
Pembroke was forced on the penalty kill often in the second period - including a stint of 5-on-3 - but kept the score even going into the third.
In the final frame, Pembroke started to look tired and was short shifting. CP took advantage and scored to take the 2-1 lead. Pembroke, finally . . .
