Tonight's contest was the inaugural game for the Rochester Jr. Americans in the NAHL. The emotions were high as the home fans packed the rink to drop the puck on a new season and a new franchise. The home team jumped out to an early three-goal lead, but the visiting Philadelphia Rebels scored five straight goals and won 5 to 4 to spoil the Jr. Americans' first game.
