Neutral Zone scouted Friday's (January 12) EHL game between the Connecticut Chiefs and Providence Hockey Club. PHC's top line used their skill, chemistry, and puck movement to dominate possession early. The PHC defense played physical and helped limit the Chiefs to only 4 shots in the opening period. While a nice individual effort from #32 Vernillo of the Chiefs initially tied it up, the gameplay continued a similar pattern, and PHC carried a 2-1 lead into the second intermission.
