The CHL Import Draft is fast approaching, and this year's class will certainly impact the CHL in a huge way. Rules have been changed, allowing each team to have three European imports on their roster rather than two. CHL teams have been losing a few junior-eligible players to the NCAA due to the new eligibility rule change, so replacing some of that talent with Europeans will be imperative to mitigating some of their losses. And Europeans may be more willing to come to the CHL and play, viewing the league as a stepping stone to NCAA scholarships . . .
