Aberdeen jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the third period. Minot battled back to cut the lead to 4-3 late in the third, but could not score the tying goal. Aberdeen was leading the game 2-1 after two periods, and then it opened up in the third with both teams combining for five goals. It was a penalty-filled game with a total of 42 minutes in penalties. Minot got into penalty trouble in the third with seven minor penalties, leading to two Aberdeen power-play . . .
