The International Whitby Silver Stick did not disappoint this year again. The level of hockey was high as 30 of the top teams from Ontario and the Northeastern US competed in Whitby this weekend. While not the favorites coming into the weekend, Detroit HoneyBaked won the tournament and finished with a 7-0 record. They defeated the Upper Canada College Blues by a 6-1 score in the finals. HoneyBaked's balanced attack, highly competitive play and big sturdy defenders were difficult to beat down the stretch and allowed them to run the table against some of the best . . .
