The Kenai River Brown Bears defeated the Springfield Jr Blues 5-4. Kenai River jumped out to a 3-0 lead and then ran into some severe penalty trouble, and Springfield was able to tie the score at 3-3 after two periods. Kenai River was able to convert twice late in the third period to take home the 5-4 win. The difference in this game was the special teams.
