On January 11, 2026, the Thibault Sports Complex in Sherbrooke hosted an intense matchup between M15AAA Elite Hockey Experts division rivals: the Sherbrooke Harfangs (ranked second in the division) and the Lac St.Louis Grenadiers (ranked sixth). The Harfangs took an early 2–0 lead, but the Grenadiers responded with four unanswered goals to take a late 4–2 lead. With less than five minutes remaining, the Harfangs tied the game, sending it into overtime. Both teams battled hard, but the Harfangs quickly capitalized in overtime to secure the win.
