In a match-up between the second and third seeds, Fraser Valley took advantage of an undisciplined Thompson Blazers squad. Establishing an early lead, Fraser Valley managed to maintain it throughout the game. Although Thompson had opportunities to close the gap, Fraser Valley's top line of Erler, Carignan, and Sezonenko dominated, maintaining offensive zone pressure and keeping Thompson on the defensive. Fraser Valley ultimately won the game 8-3.
