OHL:  Ottawa (3) @ Guelph (4)

Ottawa traveled to Guelph and lost a tight 4-3 game. The game got off to a slow start with not many chances on either side but intensity picked as time went along with many chances in the 3rd period. Guelph weathered some storms in the 3rd period and took advantage of a late powerplay to secure the win. Here is a report of the best players in the game:

WHL:  Kamloops (4) @ Regina (3)

Regina controlled the majority of the pace in the first and second period and had more dangerous chances in both periods, however shot quantity was similar. Kamloops scored on their opportunities and their powerplay was good, along with their goaltending. the game was decided in overtime on a powerplay that Kamloops capitalized on.

WHL:  Saskatoon (2) @ Everett (3)

Everett controlled the pace of this game, they were dominant in the first period outshooting the blades 17-4. The score was close but the shots tell the story at 39-16 in favour of the Silvertips. Saskatoon had some opportunistic goals that kept the game close, however three first period goals stood as the win for Everett.

OHL:  Erie (2) @ Brampton (7)

Bowen made many big saves in this win. Despite the large score difference, he was challenged and faced quality shots and chances against. He faced 34 shots and only gave up 2 goals. QMJHL:  Newfoundland (4) @ Halifax (2)

It was a close game that remained up for grabs until the final minute, when the Regiment secured the win with an empty net goal. Penalty trouble proved costly for the Mooseheads, as extended time shorthanded shifted the momentum in the Regiment’s too often throughout the game.

OHL: George Komadoski

Komadoski is a 6’4”, 211-pound right-shot defenseman who is a physically mature, defensive-minded defender with a mature, responsible approach. He plays steady, low-risk hockey and is trusted defensively, averaging 12:20 of total ice time per game, including 1:21 on the penalty kill.

QMJHL:  Val-d’Or (2) @ Moncton (7)

The Wildcats set the tone early, scoring just fourteen seconds into the game and carrying that momentum for the full sixty minutes. With four goals in the opening period and six unanswered in total, they controlled nearly every facet of the game from start to finish.

WHL:  Victoria (6) @ Kelowna (5)

The visiting Victoria Royals defeated the Kelowna Rockets 6–5 in a shootout. The hometown Rockets rallied from two deficits in the third period, led by Tij Iginla who scored twice, including the game-tying goal with 25 seconds left in regulation. The Royals were paced by 2009 prospect Ludovic Perreault, who scored once in regulation and delivered the shootout winner. Goaltender Ethan Eskit made 31 saves to earn the win for Victoria.

WHL:  Kelowna (3) @ Penticton (5)

In a competitive Okanagan matchup, the Penticton Vees rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Kelowna Rockets 5-3. Forward Matteo Danis (#29) led the comeback with a hat trick, showcasing strong offensive instincts and finishing ability. The Vees displayed resilience and controlled play in the latter half, outscoring Kelowna 5-1 after the early setback.

Finland U20:  Jokerit (1) @ Jukurit (2)

Game of the Finnish U20 SM-sarja played in Mikkeli. The away team Jokerit was better in the first period, while Jukurit had more of the game in the second. The last period was even, but Jukurit managed to score one more goal and took the win. It was a game of goalies – both showed great performances. We also saw two game misconduct penalties, both on the Jokerit side.

On October 15, 2025, the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders faced off against the Omaha Lancers in a tightly contested matchup. A balanced score sheet from both teams highlighted their depth, but it was a lone third-period goal by Cedar Rapids that proved to be the difference. The RoughRiders came away with a hard-fought 4–3 victory.

WHL:  Wenatchee (0) @ Spokane (4)

This was a consistent showing from the Chiefs tonight scoring in each period while also shutting out the Wild completely. Obviously team defense was on display tonight with a great individual effort from the Chiefs net minder. This game really was determined in the first goal, a short handed tally that created momentum for the next two periods.
