U18: 5 Nation Tournament, November 8-14, 2022: Another late birthday Czechia forward ineligible until 2024. Daniel will need that extra year of growth and development to add some needed height and weight onto his frame, which sits at 5’10 and 163 pounds at present. He shows plenty of good game IQ and was smart at knowing when to chip pucks in and out vs pass attempts. He was in hard on forechecks and he was willing to finish hits. On one particular 2 on 1 he finished it off with an excellent one time shot and snipe. Some increased size, strength and willingness to battle harder in corners for pucks will make him a more attractive prospect next season should his development continue. (Scout: Marlin Mulyaert)
