MHL: Bobruisk Dinamo-Shinnik atr Sakhalinskiye Akuly

Ilya IvanovDinamo-Shinnik Bobruysk (MHL)MHLLRW5’10”146Zhlobin, BLR2005Not yet rated

Game Grade: C

Comments: Draft eligible Ivanov is a competent offensive leaning forward. He remains calm under pressure while the puck is on his stick and has the ability to drive offense through his playmaking. He circles the zone and protects it well with quick stops and starts. He needs to become more aggressive when driving with the puck. He will need to learn how to take the puck inside rather than circle the top of the zone each time he has possession. He picked up an assist in this game. Not the most impressive performance from Ivanov but a solid player to keep an eye on.

Nikolai SalygoDinamo-Shinnik Bobruysk (MHL)MHLLC6’1″161Zhlobin, BLR20052023-2024: C

Game Grade: C+

Comments: Salygo is a tall and lanky forward who showed better energy tonight than normal. He joined battles and worked hard to dig pucks out of scrums. He showed good effort on the forecheck and made many attempts to push and keep play moving towards the offensive zone. He rushed the puck up ice with some confidence but lacks the skill to really drive play and create opportunities. Smooth stride and solid shot. Decent game from Salygo.

Alexander UstinovSakhalinskiye AkulyMHLLC6’2″165Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, RUS20062024-2025: B

Game Grade: B

Comments: Draft eligible Ustinov is a 6’2′ lanky forward with a good compete level. He joined every battle that he could and helped dig pucks out for his team. He consistently kept his feet moving and contributed on both ends of the ice. He skates with a hunched over posture and his stride is not very efficient but he still generates decent speed with many extensions. He showed off some good vision by executing a couple of one touch passes on the breakout and kept his head up with the puck to move it quickly. He is a pass first player and was able to keep play moving with his playmaking. Alex scored a goal tonight by crashing the net hard and burying a rebound that the goalie could not control. Ustinov played with a bit of an edge, he finished checks and joined in scrums. Right now, the two biggest things holding him back are his skating form and lack of muscle. Improvements in both areas would instantly transform him into a better player. Good effort and compete from Ustinov tonight.
